The amount of finds I've had at this place is insane. I recently found a brand new record player in the box with the plastic and everything for $15... AND IT PLAYS CASETTES AND HAS BLUETOOTH!!!!! I used to shop at Goodwill 1x a week. I stopped going because of their outrageous prices. I decided to go yesterday and try again. Even worse than before. $7.99 shirts that has holes & stains. Whoever is pricing the donations is going to price you out of business. Most of your cloths I can get cheaper on sale or clearance at stores, and they won't have stains on them. Almost every shirt I picked up it was stained, stretched out or had holes. I walked through the store and put back everything I looked at. I will not pay your crazy prices. I went there at least twice a week. I sed to get towels for my pool which was great, old storage bins @ $2.99 NOW $4.99, Christmas decorations, now all is twice the price. I was a Assistant Manager (Keyholder) for 4 years. I was shocked how the public acted inside our Dressing Rooms. The first 3 years was a nightmare! Customers in the Dressing Rooms, would Layer the clothing to steal, Urinate on the walls and the clothing on the floor. Pooped on the pile of clothing, Airplane bottles of Alcohol were found in the Dressing Room, Syringes on the floor, Price tags scattered everywhere. There were incidents were I had to take control of the situation, and tell the customers Only 5 items in Dressing Room, Pick up your mess in the room. Nobody could use the room with all the articles of clothing everywhere. The Corporate Office made us take down the signs and just tolerate what people want to do. The Corporate Office was not there to deal with any of these situations.....But, they were certainly right there when a customer would call and complain about any of us, no matter what happened. I had to babysit the dressing rooms all day. Because, i never knew what would happen.. Most customers would go in and come out with nothing. I finally, got to the point where I did not care what the customers did in the dressing rooms, they were running the entire store.. If you were to say anything to customers about the mess that was left on the floor, they would call Corporate and i would be reprimanded for the way i handled the situation. The Customers did not want us to let them know, that they are making a huge mess in our store. They would threaten you, call Corporate, throw things, knock things on the floor, Yell, Scream... Most of our thieves would walk in the front door and head right to the shoe dept. They are in need of a new pair of shoes.. they will pick a pair they wanted, and place on their feet, Put theirs on the shelf and walk out. Except the few unlucky ones, that I enjoyed nabbing at the front door when they are trying to exit the store. We mostly, operated on a Skeleton Crew.... Every single day, someone would call off, not show up, some were missing for days, then returned like it was nothing, and went back to work. If i were in charge, they all would have been terminated!!! NO EXCUSES! The Management team always looked like idiots, and it was embarrassing, everyone got away with so much on a daily basis. No One would hold any of the employees accountable for the ridiculous point system they used.. I knew of several employees who should have been terminated, they had no one else to work, so they tolerated it. The point system was so unadjusted that nobody cared any longer. It was the joke of the place. And caused a lot of bad vibes between the employees, they all knew about it. This place is so disorganized, Even the Lunch room had cockroaches that had to be dealt with. The entire Management Crew, had ailments to interfere with our jobs in the Warehouse Area. (Backroom) 1st. Manager, had foot surgery issues and out for months. Now, has eye issues, and she is only working the day shifts, she cant drive at night. Which then takes that shift away from us, other Managers. Then, I was expected to work all the evening shifts. The 2nd Manager, Has issues with his legs and feet since i have worked there for 4 years. (Walking, Lifting, Standing)He has been off work for months and months. He has been off work more than he was there.... (Missing Manager) then we have a 3rd Manager whom has Colitis really bad, he is in the Rest Room most of the work day, when he finally decides to go into to work late, because, he is not feeling well, He then smells like Alcohol the rest of the day. Several Employees were suspicious of him drinking, months ago.. I did start noticing it myself on a regular basis. If I were to smell Alcohol, It turned my stomach. He is SALARY, so he could go into work when ever he felt like it, or go home for that matter. The Store Manager, Niki is tolerating it. If we smell booze, why cant she??? He would call quite often and let us know he will be in later, when and if he feels better. Leaving the Skeleton Crew, worst off than ever. The Corporate Office visited our Store a few months ago, to Congratulate us on our sales. He promised to get our Store some Air Cond. for our Warehouse. Apparently, he is getting us Fans, but the entire summer they never came. Never heard about that issue, again! I worked extremely hard for this Company!! I will not miss being used to complete the other workers tasks. Because, they didn't show up!! I will greatly miss my co-workers, and approximately, 300 customers that I became friends with during my 4 yr. period...I have sent my customers a message letting them know that I am no longer working there. The bottom line, if you want to get anywhere with Goodwill (4900 N.Wickham Rd.) Just make a scene in the store OR threaten to call the Corporate Office and you should be able to get anything that you want.. Everyone is terrified of the Corporate Office, in this Location! it isn't as fun as it used to be to shop here. It was always fun to try and find a hidden gem but now it is $800 couches and retail items and prices. I still go there but I used to go 3x a week and now I go once a month.... bring back the old GOODWILL!! read more

Not a great store for furniture/Knick knacks. Mostly clothes. I've been to some pretty nice Goodwills and this isn't one of them.

Good luck trying to DONATE here! For the second day in a row, we were turned away and told they did not have room to accept our ONE ITEM (literally a normal size nightstand). I have never had such difficulty giving away something nice for free. Note that their hours are only for the shopping portion of the store and do not represent accurate donation hours (which they can change whenever they want). I would recommend doing some research about other charities/donation centers who may be more appreciative. read more

I used to like going to this goodwill and am an avid thrift store shopper, but my last experience at this one made me actually put down all the hard-sought items I'd found and walk out the door. First, the clothes racks were so packed it was almost impossible to shop through them. Second, the sizes were so mixed up that it was useless to have a (hidden) size ring at the end of the racks. Then, after this frustration, all of the dressing rooms were lock (and unlit). No sign on the doors about what to do about it or if I needed to go to the men's section to try on. That was the last straw and I left. This is a very unorganized location and since all the goodwills decided to go to sizing instead of color coding the racks, it's just unshopable. read more

I feel for the employees here because they seem overworked. However, there is a lack of communication because we were just scolded and berated by an employee for using a fitting room that another employee offered to us. Apparently, other patrons have disrespected the store and we happened to cross paths with the one employee who has taken this personally. After getting onto us for being in the fitting room he proceeded to commiserate about how rude people can be. His attitude and behavior was uncalled for and unappreciated. If I could do a minus 5, I would. Tried to drop off donations last weekend and was told by the attendant that I was inconveniencing him because he was hot and he had to come outside. Was told that if I did not get it out of the car and put in the "right" basket he would throw my donations away. These were excellent household, clothing and pictures. Many of the clothing had the original tags on them. So very rude and ungrateful. Don't take your donations to Goodwill on US in Rockledge. Hard to believe you don't pay for donations and they come to you free and 85% of your money goes to salaries and you complain. Amazing!!!!!! read more

As an avid thrifter, this particular Goodwill is one of my most frequent haunts. Like many thrift stores, it's hit or miss- sometimes there is a good selection of items, other times there isn't. To me, that's the beauty of thrifting. You just never know what you might find. But I have found some very nice pieces, both slightly used and completely brand new at this location. The Goodwill stores in this county get many of their items from Target, either overstock, seasonal or slightly damaged goods. I have purchased brand new items with the tags still on them from Goodwill but for much lower price than what it was priced for in Target. This store is a great resource for the thrifty shopper, like myself. read more

To all the employees at this Goodwill, I absolutely applaud you. It's clear that this business is understaffed and overwhelmed and I hope you know your hard work does not go unnoticed. This is my first time at this locations and it's absolutely disgusting how some of the customers act. Between the teenagers hanging out & playing games, screaming customers like today that have absolutely no decency and yell profanities at the clearly struggling staff, and impatient people, it's no wonder this location is disorganized and unable to accommodate dressing rooms. It's mind boggling to me that corporate Goodwill has done NOTHING to keep these poor workers afloat and brought in extra help for them. If you're a customer at this location, please be patient and helpful. And to the customers that were screaming and belittling these hard workers today (yes you little asian lady in the blue top), you should be ashamed to been seen acting like that in public. Overall, there's work to be done on this location (-1 star for the disorganization & -1 star for lack of dressing rooms though I know they're correlated) but given the circumstances, this goodwill is clearly just doing their best and I cannot blame them for that. Probably the worst Goodwill I've ever been to. Everything is disorganized and in disarray. Clothing racks are overcrowded and all sizes are mixed up every single time I've been here. They always seem to be understaffed, which is ironic since this is supposed to be a company that helps people get jobs. There is almost always only one cashier no matter how busy and a handful of associates on the floor. Dressing rooms are extremely dim and the aisles are so tiny you can't even get through if there is someone else looking around. read more

I have been to several Goodwills throughout several states and I have to say, Florida's seem to smell the worst and have a bunch of junk that's overpriced. I thought goodwill was exactly that. This goodwill is like any other, hit or miss on the items. Sometimes if you happen to get there on a day when they are unloading new items (Thursdays?) you can snatch up a great find before anyone else. The household goods are always a great place to scout out cool things. The clothing has always been in good shape with very reasonable pricing. Ever since this store moved to this new location it has gone down hill. I dont know why. The building itself is nice but the customer service has gone from helpful and cheerful to short on patience, moody and miserable. The whole feel of this goodwill is non welcoming. Very sad and disappointing. I know its a thrift store and not to expect customer service but the employees used to smile and greet you now all i see is stress. I went to pass by a fitting room and an associate litterly yelled out me because even though she wasnt even near the door she yelled at me saying I cant use that room because she is still cleaning it. By the way i was only walking by the door to go to another clothes rack. Id rather pay full price for things then go back to this particular store. read more

Yesterday I shopped at this goodwill and found a few things I likes. When I checked out the cashier looked at a Christmas box I'd found for $2.99 and proceeded to tell me that the box, which also had a smaller one inside of it, was more expensive. I didn't say anything and stated again that it cost more. I then told her that I found in the blue bin of items in the back of the store. She then told me AGAIN that it was more expensive and that this is why they don't sell items with no price on them because people change tags. I was confused about what one had to do with the other. Then it hit me.... Clearly she was indicating that I had changed the price on the box. Which is absurd. I've been shopping at this store even before they relocated for over 10 years and am very insulted by her insinuation. I work everyday and shop at the Goodwill to support jobs for the disabled, not because I am so poor that I need to change the prices on their items. I will be calling the store today and then calling corporate to relay my experience and express the rudeness and insinuating insult from this cashier who by the way never said hello to me or even smiled during the entire transaction. Oh, BTW... I'm also a cashier and know how you should greet people. We are the last person customers communicate with before leaving the store and it's our job to be friendly, and to leave a positive impression with the customers so that they will come back again to support out stores.
