Over the years of visiting cocoa beach we've tried to come here several times. Usually that's been…read moreover a holiday weekend or on the weekend --when they have been closed. They are now open 3 days a week: Monday, Thursday, and Friday. And on those 3 days, only 4 hours a day. And today ta-dah (!) was one of their open days. Their address shows Orlando avenue but the entrance to the parking is between A1A and Orlando. Park closest to the back of the church, as that is near where the entrance to the thrift shop is. Inside, the shop is bigger than you'd expect from the outside. Over a half dozen rooms organized by categories -- books, men's, linens, etc., and they even have a dressing room to try on things. Everything was neat and organized. And their prices were very, very reasonable. Even with low prices to begin with, they run specials based on color plastic tags. There was a lot of Women's clothing and some starting at only $1! And I'm not talking crappy stuff either. You'd actually wear some of this stuff. If you're in the area during their open times, and like thrift shopping, it's well worth a stop.

My secret is not my secret anymore, Goldies is perfect for people who are reducing items before I move, who need to decorate the first apartment who end up with too much stuff to fit in their new place or end up with too much space and not enough stuff. I know some people like digging through stuff to find that hidden "gem" -- but here it's rather discouraging to even see what they have... As well as a bit off-putting. It's one of the larger thrift stores in the area, so if you're an inveterate thrift shopper, you'd still want to come here. Just keep your expectations low... maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

A wide array of women's and men's clothing, accessories, sunglasses, skate and surf gear, and gifts! There is even some local artists who have their own jewelry line. So lovely! The backyard patio is absolutely dreamy! It reminds me of a Southern California patio. There is beer on tap, and wine... yes you read that correctly! There is even a vintage Simpsons arcade game. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and really make a point to make you feel welcome! They will happily take you on a tour and show you the work they did by hand to bring this beautiful space alive!

Boy were they right , I found at least 20 plus blankets that were donated for free at $20 a piece . He is on a fixed income and can't afford something like that or else I would have gone to Walmart and got him a brand new one for 30 dollars. While in the store me and other customers were complaining about the prices and how this is all free donated not claimed stuff being resold . Not only was I chewed out by your employee , I was also chewed out by your employees daughter who had her two dogs that were training to be service animals hopping all over. Then when I go outside to make a video about my experience with the blankets . Your employee's daughter wants to come out and threaten me tell me to get the f*** from around there because she thinks I'm talking about her dog . As a home health care nurse it breaks my heart to see all of the healthcare supplies back there and the prices you have it set at the prices you have set throughout that entire store . A thrift store is a second hand store donated for free so that those who are less fortunate can have . I look at a thrift store like a good book , once you find a good book you don't hold on to it forever you pass it around for other people to use to read to enjoy . You walk in through the "Rocket City Retro" doors (which house a very nice mid century modern store at the back) and go to the right for the Astronaut's Wife. They have many stunning quality clothes (especially dresses) within a well organized and cool store. I purchased white leather cowboy boots (which I'd been looking for forever!) and three dresses for New Years. The owner was kind and did not bother us while we were browsing. I recently discovered Patriots & Paws Thrift Store while driving by, and decided to stop in--and…read morewhat a pleasant surprise it was! This little local shop is truly a hidden gem. They have a great selection of vintage china, furniture, and other items, all beautifully arranged. Even though it's a thrift store, everything is so clean and well-organized--you can tell the owners put a lot of care and attention into maintaining the store. The prices are also very reasonable. I bought a lovely wooden side table to go next to my sofa--solid quality, no damage whatsoever. I also found a nearly new computer desk for my daughter, and the price was great. What truly warmed my heart was the atmosphere. The elegant lady who runs the shop has decorated the fitting room in such a cozy and tasteful way--it's even nicer than those in some big-name department stores! Her husband and their son (a kind young man) were also there, and he kindly helped load the furniture into my car. That thoughtful service meant a lot to me. Next time I shop here, I also plan to bring some gently used household items to donate. I sincerely hope more people will discover and support this wonderful local store. They not only run their business with heart, but also quietly give back to the community.
