I have been to this Front Royal Flea Market location while passing thru town a few times since…read more2015, and keep coming away with the same experience of "meh", not that impressed each time. Seems to be a location with no real focus or quality to offer or worth returning to. Mostly the location has a series of "U-shaped" plywood vendor stalls, that sellers show up daily, and populate with 'whatever' strikes a fancy! We have noticed that most items appear to be charitable-donation level personal clothing, effects, and recycled discarded items. Some sellers don't even bother to conceal the donation bags they have removed from charitable donation bins. The sellers who have produce & food items are not fresh, largely appear to be expired, or obtained from chain sellers per the boxing and packaging they are presented in. Healthcare products as well, appear to be expired and/or discarded items from retail. I would have say this location is more of a curiosity than a flea market.

This is the kind of store I would love to see more of. (Like maybe where I live....fat chance!) The store owner, a very pleasant and engaging gal, operates a clean, informal shop fully stocked with new and used stuff that is priced correctly, which means "fairly priced cheap." No sleight of hand here. I consider myself a seasoned shopper, so as I browsed around, my consistent assessment was that the prices I saw on both food and non-food items were what they should be for bargain hunters like me. This is the kind of store parents should introduce their kids to without fear that their whining might run the risk of a wallet hemorrhage. Indeed, during my visit, I saw lots of happy kids with their parents in tow----not an unpleasant sound from the bunch! Discount depot, you're on my shopping route, I look forward to pawing through what you come up with next!

A well run flee market would steer clear of these scams. If they didn't know before now they do. don't let them claim ignorance. This is an interesting flea market. We went on a Saturday morning. Admission is free and there is…read morea decent parking lot and clean rest room facilities. There were over a hundred dealers set up with a mixture local produce, baked goods, antiques, household goods and junk. In addition, there are about 6-7 food trucks serving tacos, smoothies and fair type foods. There is an indoor market with specialty dealers. We arrived early and filled the car with treasures. The local produce was really nice with decent prices. I picked up a delicious cantaloupe. I also bought some flowers. Most of the dealers were interesting and friendly. It took about 90 minutes to go through everything. The walk ways are uneven, I tripped at least once, so be careful. Pets are not allowed (but I saw several dogs). All the dealers I talked with were cash only sales.

All of them were in good condition as far as I could see and the guy in charge of the guitar/instrument section of the store knew what he was talking about. Because there's a lot of different styles and such of each instrument it's likely you're going to find what you want I ended up getting a super nice short scale bass with the case at a good price, especially considering cases are pricey to buy new. They worked with us a bit on the price as well and I walked out happy with it Overall I would definitely suggest Bear's Trading Post, I visited twice and only good experiences there so far, the guys running it are nice as well so I'd recommend checking it out
