Sometimes the prices here feel too much for the actual piece of clothing but other times, it's alright. The staff is cool tho

As much as I'd like to keep this place a secret, it is totally amazing and worth five stars. Having…read morejust moved to Portland a month ago, there were a few "missing items" and "empty spaces" in my humble abode that needed filling. My next door neighbor alerted to me this place and I'm so glad. I picked up four dining chairs (sometimes they are priced as a package deal with a table, but these were actually priced individually and separate from the table). I thought about getting some sort of lounge or easy chair to read in but I haven't converted to Maine vehicle yet, so my Mazda wouldn't fit it. Next time! A gorgeous coffee table also caught my eye, so that item was also purchased. I had to make two trips, but hey-ho. I think prices are great. Obviously, you're getting used items but isn't there something really charming about having furniture that has been lovingly used? (As long as it doesn't smell like a dirty fart) You could go the route of IKEA and I have totally done so on occasion, but let's admit it, most of that crap is crap. Old used furniture was made with love. I can imagine that prices may have climbed in the past few years, though I only have Chicago Salvation Armies to compare it to, and I think the prices are still better here than Chicago five years ago. Stuff probably comes and goes fairly regularly so don't feel defeated on an initial visit. I will definitely venture back here.

Not only did my son have a variety of desks to consider, the prices were well below what I thought would be reasonable. The staff, after showing us around the store and unobtrusively checking in, they assisted us with getting our purchase to and into our vehicle. We will think of Restore-HfH first the next time we need home furnishings.

Good location for the most part Behind Hannafords food store,…read moreSeparate parking lot. Plenty of parking space along with handicap ramps for all access. A plasma donation center for those that meet certain criteria for donating. If you are thinking of going I would say it is a nice environment very kind and engaging staff if you want them to be and also very respectful if you prefer to keep To yourself. From my experience your first time is met with questions along with providing your documentation (please call ahead to see what you need to bring along with a good day to go.) You will be asked to watch a I think 20 minute video fallowed by them going over the paperwork you brought along with what they have and your payment information. (Payments can and do vary.) After that they will have you meet with a ok staff physician that will go over medical history with you to make sure donating is good and safe for you so be honest and open for your own safety. This process can take up to 3Hr's including the donating procedure. Be sure to drink plenty of water and have something in your stomach to make the process fast easy and painless. Drink water the day before and morning of. It is frowned upon getting up during the process so be sure to use the on sight restrooms before starting the donation process. When ready they will bring you into a large communal area with a number of long chairs next to the plasma device. They will confirm your name and information along with giving you the option to place belongings under a cubby under your chair. They inspect your arms and allow you to suggest a preferred arm to use for the process. I believe they use a 18 inch needle for it so be prepared. They will prepare the area and then the needle will go in, If all goes well you will be done the process within 30-60 minutes. The machine will go into draw and return cycles. Afterwards your money will be placed onto your preferred payment method and you will Be free to go. If snacks are there you free to grab one drink and one food option. They offer bonus and raffles throughout the year. The staff are all very friendly and happy to answer questions. Thanks for donating.

I scored a genuine leather flat cap from Meyer the Hatter for $25. When I got home, I looked up the original price and it was $125! Huge steal. I then also grabbed a vintage 90s style striped fleece henley long sleeve for $20. They had your usual vintage clothes and shoes but they also had everything from MTV Raps cards to every little accessory you could think of. Everything is neatly organized by size and color, which made browsing so easy and honestly so enjoyable. I really appreciated how intentional the layout felt. And then the second room... not only do they have 3 dressing rooms but HELLO NOSTALGIA. They have a TV and a Super Nintendo setup where you can literally play Super Mario in between shopping. 10 STARS. I swear shopping here healed a tiny part of my inner child. On top of all that, the women working were really sweet and helpful. Weekend Vintage is an absolute gem of a place. I'll definitely be back.

A little disappointed with the lack of men's clothing, it was limited to one circular rack. Tons of cute shoes and heels but nothing above size 9. Would return!
