Big sq. footage & it looks like they're adding on more. Construction was going on to the right side of the building today.
    Cara T.

As you walked in the doors the first thing you notice is the current construction going to the right of the building. "Curious to know what that's all about"?! Big location, but seems a little messy and lots of unorganized clutter. The retail side of this Goodwill is what gets the 4 stars. Not for their "average prices" of $5.99 for "used" clothes (some that shouldn't even be hanging on a rack) But- for the additional deals like every 3rd Saturday of the month offering 50% off everything in the store and a daily coupon for 20% $20 or more- "that makes it all worth while"! Instead of the jewelry just being tossed into a basket like some places, they have a black stand displaying everything hanging up, so you can see all of it at a glance. Besides tons of clothing they carry books, videos games, DVD's, electronic, furniture, appliances, baby items, women & men's shoes plus lots of knick knacks & a whole lot more! Always enjoy browsing at ALL the local Goodwills. Fun unique finds at times or to come across something completely unexpected!

Goodwill employee at this location refused us entry although we calmly explained our service animal status.

First off, I've been shopping at goodwill for over 20 years. I've never had any issues with this organization until today. My husband and I have been shopping with our service animals at this location regularly. We often see other dogs and we are always welcomed by employees. Today, upon walking through the doors we were immediately told "YOU AND YOUR DOGS NEED TO LEAVE." We were extremely surprised and thought it was a joke. The middle age female employee with a salt/pepper/brown ponytail at the register was aggressively screaming and postering up to us upon arrival. She began screaming at my husband "IS YOUR DOG A SERVICE ANIMAL?!" The answer is yes. She said "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHATS YOUR DISABILITY?!" Extremely inappropriate and out of bounds to yell in front of the entire store. Legally: you can ask if the animal is a service animal, and what tasks it's trained to perform. You cannot ask what is WRONG with the human. But this employee did, and when we calmly tried to inform her she cannot ask what makes a person disabled, and calm the situation down she became even more aggressive, hands waving and pointing, and screaming at us to get out. I told her we frequently shop here with our service animals, but She snapped back before I could finish "I DONT CARE ...LEAVE!!!" She also took personal possession of the store saying "this is my store, get out of my store" which we thought was also so ridiculous and entitled. This was just the most over the top, vile, entitled, and rude reaction I've ever experienced in retail in YEARS. I was extremely taken back by how this woman treated us, asked my husband what is WRONG with him, and how loudly she felt the need to scream at us from the first register to the front door. It's what? Maybe 4 ft of distance? It was so over the top and unprofessional. Why not get a manager and have them take it up with us? I spoke to Juan the manager and he confirmed the employee was not a manager and had not received any ADA TRAINING. (We already figured that) Queen creek is amazing, hospitable, pet friendly, friendly in general, but this goodwill has employees that are completely out of line and unprofessional. It's not worth the hassle to shop here. we were so put off by the experience we will never come back. This goodwill doesnt respect customers and definitely not young veterans. Many good experiences shopping here, many good employees but one bad apple can ruin the bunch. I hope this employee is removed from the sales floor indefinitely. She lacks the compassion, courtesy, and professionalism to serve others in a public space. Also GOODWILL: if you want to enforce NO ANIMALS...the decal is sooo very tiny and off to the left hand side of the door. Maybe if you have bigger lettering and centered on the entrance people will be better informed of your policies. Just a thought. Or you can just have your employees verbally harass customers and tell them to leave. You are opening yourself to discrimination lawsuits. All for what? The power trip and poor judgement of an angry and uninformed employee?

Kind and helpful staff. Two people greeted at the door and helped unload many bins and boxes. No wait and fast service.

Items were priced reasonably compared to Savers and Goodwill. Books were $0.75-$2, men's t-shirts $2-3, and men's dress shirts $6-8. Your money could go a long way here! Budget Tip: fill out the survey on the receipt and get 15% off your next clothing purchase. 10/10 would recommend!

The racks are labeled, the clothes are color-coded, and for the most part, everything is super organized (minus a slightly chaotic home goods section, but honestly... that's part of the treasure hunt). I'm not even going to lie--I felt a little overwhelmed at first because there's so much to look at. You can absolutely get lost in here, so give yourself time. They've got separate dressing rooms for men and women, and the restroom? Spotless. Like, exceptionally clean--with a baby changing station too. We love to see it. Now let's talk about what really sets this place apart: there is zero thrift store smell. None. No mustiness, no funky mystery scent, no "digging through old clothes" vibe. It's cool, comfortable, and actually enjoyable to shop in. You feel like you're in a regular retail store... just scoring insane deals. Prices? Don't even get me started. I grabbed three items for $21. Shirts were around $4, jackets about $10, and yes--they even have wedding dresses (I saw one for $95!). Like... be serious. The store itself is clean, the floors looked well-maintained, and it's clearly family-friendly--I saw kids just casually walking around, living their best lives. Honestly, I'm a little put off that we don't have this chain in my state because this place is a whole experience. If you love thrifting but hate the chaos and the smell, this is your spot. AND, a major plus is "Whenever you donate or shop at a Deseret Industries location, you are contributing to our mission by helping individuals access resources that will help them succeed in future jobs" (https://www.deseretindustries.org).

I visited this store for my very first time after seeing it blow up on Tik Tok! For the holidays…read morethey were offering bundle bags on Black Friday. The videos I saw showed the strip mall being so packed with vehicles & people that there was actually a police presence just to help manage with crowd control. I recently moved closer, so I took the first opportunity I could to take a look at their goods in person yesterday...I was a little taken aback at how small the space is. From the moment I walked up to the front door- I was shocked to see that, that many people could have been waiting in line for hours and that the store would have enough merchandise to accommodate ALL those customers?! That said, I found the shop inside decorated in that retro style very suitable & quaint, but also only about 8 racks spread out openly throughout the store. The prices in my opinion were ridiculously high except for the $10 clearance rack by the front entrance. Even at that, many shirts I found stained, logos cracking/fading, with holes, or paint marks and overall just not in great condition for the cost! Additionally, they do have some pants, jackets and hoodies as well. Employees never welcomed us in. Too busy eating sandwiches. Find it very unprofessional to eat your food on the floor and at the registers counter to boot! They buy daily for vintage. You'll receive cash or credit. Generally, you will get more in store credit than in cash. Currently, they're accepting winter items and are being very "picky" ( as the two employees told me) about t-shirts. Odd since that's mainly what they carry & with that Tik Tok craze you'd think they would have needed a heck of a lot more merchandise unless it didn't fair well? Yet, again it's a small space with not a lot to offer, so wondering if they have things in storage and they rotate often or seasonally? Doubtful this will be a place I'd return. Think you can get more money by selling your goods on-line thru numerous apps. Or, going to a thrift store and finding vintage gems!

We browsed for a little bit, but flabbergasted at the pricing. $30-50 for a faded t-shirt. I get they are vintage, but the prices seemed insane! Even a pair of mall goth style shorts were $125! Insanity! We likely won't return as we both will not pay those prices. Upon entrance and even exiting we were greeted by an employee at the door, which was the positive here (hence 3-stars).
