The tag color of the week was $1.49 and I found two dresses I liked at that price. I came in looking for a Coach handbag and they did have one and also a couple Coach wallets. I bought one of the wallets. They typically have a good jewelry selection in the store as well but on this day I did not leave my self enough time prior to closing. I will stop back in this location. I found three pairs of shoes I liked and the two dresses and also art softcover books and a couple of 45s.

In order to be considerate of other shoppers, I parked my cart at the end of the row. Three minutes later, I was appalled to see my cart being emptied by an employee thinking it was abandoned. Learning this, I kept the cart right next to me during the rest of my time there. I went to the front to look for jewelry in one of the cases. The cart is right to me. I, turned my back, 3 feet away, to look at the second glass case facing the first. I turned around, and BAM, my entire cart was missing. It could not have turned my back more than 2 minutes. HOW COULD THIS HAOPEN? All that the assistant manager, Jennifer Murphy, could do is apologize. No efforts to try to help me recover my items, which would not have been tough. There were 3 pants, from same area, and 3 blouses, again from same area. No one cared. It was "too close to closing hours". I just was waisted over an hour of my time. They teach their employees to look for carts that APPEAR abandoned. How about teaching them to use courtesy and LOGIC on how to identify an abandoned cart. Ask people that are close to the cart and do not have a cart if this is their cart? Too much effort? This has never occurred to me anywhere in ANY retail shopping space. In addition... does a single apologize make up for this? No. Making things better (lemon into a lemonade) should be the standard with customer service. Don't worry about pick-pocketers at this location. Worry about getting your shopping items taken away before you can purchase them by their own staff who are more worried about cleaning up the store before closing ... without caring about their customers. Unbelievable. Unlikely I will be returning. I prefer shopping anywhere without FEAR of losing my intended purchases.

It's a great spot to shop at the start of a new season or for an upcoming vacation. I've been going for years and years. About a year ago, they did a major reorganization of the store and it's now more open and organized than before. I will admit that you have to search for hidden gems as the items do have the potential to be damaged, but I love scoring those good deals, so it's worth it to me. The staff are always friendly and parking is a breeze since the store is in a plaza with a big lot. They have huge sales and a good texting program that alerts you of sales and sends coupons straight to your phone.

I also got some primer for my eyeshadow for $2. There were so many things that I could have bought including cheaply priced, name brand bras, underwear, lingerie, shirts, sweaters, coats, anything that you can think of. I didn't have enough room in my carry on bag to buy like I wanted to but the clothes were in good shape and they looked brand new! Next time I come to visit, I'll bring an empty suitcase :-) It's important to know that if you buy anything at DFW, all sales are final. It is what it is…read more I'm not a big shopping guy and even less a TJ Maxx guy. But, from time-to-time, I am dragged in there. So, if you've ever been to a TJ Maxx, you'll understand where I'm coming from. They place is always a disaster with a moderate rhyme-or-reason to where things are. Sure, you can find the luggage section, or the shoe aisles, or clothes, etc. But, you might be at the shoe rack and come across a decent pair of dress shoes, right next to a pair of slippers, right next to those measuring cups for the kitchen that you suddenly had to have. Now, I'm not sure if that's how TJ Maxx gets you or if that's just lazy customers. Either way, it's genius. Anyone who says that more than 75% of the time the go into a TJ Maxx for something specific but ultimately walk out with 1 to 9 items that they didn't come in for would be lying. On top of that, they're walking out with those 1 to 9 other items and in many cases, not what they originally came in for. These are hard facts. It's a brilliant marketing scheme. Being completely bewildered in an aisle that seemed to make very little sense to me, I asked on of the workers who was stocking the shelves how she knew where to even put things. I had been browsing through this aisle for a few minutes and noticed her taking things off of her stock cart and putting them on shelves, in between other completely related items. She said that in some cases they have a general idea where things go and just find a space. That's a perfect way to describe many of the aisles of TJ Maxx. Again - this is either insane or genius. I'm guessing it's the latter. Would I go back? I don't know. Probably. I would never think of going there. I'll never say, "hey, I need to run to TJ Maxx". But thinking about it, I should. Because they honestly seem to have everything you could ever think of. This isn't a bad review. Like TJ Maxx, it's a very hard to define review. If you like browsing, look no further. You could spend hours here. Think of it as an indoor scavenger hunt. Pro Tip: If you're looking for something in particular and don't find it in the area you locate that has similar items....say shoes... keep looking in other aisles around that general area or quarter of that part of the store. You may still find what you're looking for among things that are completely unrelated. This too, is a fact. I have literally had this experience myself. Think of it as a real life Highlights magazine picture search. I can almost guarantee if you look closely between the items in the aisle that has hard candies, holiday gnomes, assorted Keurig K-cups and socks, there is a real good chance you'll find that meat thermometer between the toddler size tap shoes and gourmet peanut brittle.

Such a letdown when we first arrived there. However, as we browsed the aisles on search of random other dollar priced needs, I did take note that this particular location was a lot cleaner and more well organized than others. I made an assessment in my last review that maybe all Dollar Tree's feel run down and disorganized because of the crappy quality of most of their products..well this location proved that theory wrong. Good for them. While browsing their random $1 DVD section I did come across quite a find. Episodes of that random 90's Saturday morning NBC show "California Dreams". Ha..what a blast from the past. I had forgotten all about that show..it was basically a B-version of "Saved by the Bell"..well..which was a B-version of a prime time sitcom..which would make "California Dreams" a double B version of..I dunno..no need to go down that rabbit hole. Anywho, I was super psyched about my obscure DVD find..and impressed with the stores cleanliness and organization. Despite the mortal sin of them not carrying ice..I would have to say this location is still A-Ok in my book.

Predator employee named "Sarah" looks more interested in harming/disturbing people than checking…read moreout their items. She was disgustingly unprofessional and weird. Began breathing loudly and hard because I was paying in quarters and dimes. This is dollar tree right. Just checking. I felt so disturbed by her presence I asked her manager if she could finish the transaction because "Sarah" didn't know the difference left from 4.26$ after I gave her 3.00 in change. The customer In line behind me began talking about how her purse is so heavy from all the change she saves up, and that she wants to spend her change as well here. I specifically told this employee "Sarah" so they have to wear gloves and if not, do not touch the fuzzy item I'm about to purchase. I scanned item myself and set it in other side of register because she isnt wearing gloves. After I scanned it my self "Sarah" went out her way to touch the fuzzy item I place on the other side of the register. There was literally no rhyme or reason. She just touched it than started at me very mischievously. I nicely asked her not the item and she did with her finger that just could have just been up her dirty ........... for all I know. She than began trying to argue with me and her manager said "Sarah be quiet." Extremely disgusting, ungroomed staff that is the face of dollar tree. A predator

Just moved to the area and these two are my new two favorite people and sales associates. I just…read moredropped in one day to check it out and they were so kind and friendly. It felt as if I was there to borrow a cup of flower..that kind of friendliness. Kristi gave me the show of the place and answered all my questions. She is the complete reason I went home and joined Crown Rewards and a KOC member. The employees should recieve some type of bonus when customers join. Once all the benefits of either memebership is explained in detail, it is too good to pass up, not to mention great external customer relations. I have been to the store quite often since joining and they go well over average in appreciating your business and stopping in the store. Customer service is dying just as fast as the pay phone. Joey was very friendly and chatted it up with us as well. I have visited this location quite often. Sometimes to talk or just take another look around for you will miss the most unique items if you just visit for a card or are in and out. Right in the middle of our visit, the power went out and the mall was evacuated. The associate helping us was stunning, patient, and ensured my client felt safe during the chaos, but we didn't get her name before leaving.Today (Wednesday), I called the store to get the SKU numbers for the bras so we could order them online, as it is hard for my client to travel and the sale was ending. I spoke with Claire and explained that I was trying to find the wonderful lady who assisted us right before the blackout. Claire completely refused to help me identify her or give out her name, and I had to plead with her for quite a while. It was incredibly upsetting and frustrating that she wouldn't problem-solve with me, especially since I explicitly told her this associate provided great customer service and we just needed to complete our purchase.Hoping for a better outcome, I called back a second time. Thankfully, Elizabeth answered! She immediately recognized our situation, told me her name, and came to the rescue. She located the exact items that worked perfectly for my client and gave me the info we needed. Elizabeth's genuine care is rare. Victoria's Secret management needs to heavily praise Elizabeth for her excellence and address Claire's complete lack of basic customer service." I give a five stars to elizabeth! I dread the mall in general and trying on bras is never fun for anyone I don't think. I haven't bought or tried any on in years, didn't know my size or what I wanted and I was not looking forward to finding some that worked but Elizabeth was SO unbelievably helpful and kind. She brought me so many different kinds and sizes to try on. She never once showed frustration or annoyance when I needed another size or didn't love what she brought me. She even found me as I was checking out to give me a card she had filled out with my sizes and which bras I liked so I would be able to remember in the future. In the end I left with 3 new bras and thanked her profusely for the help but I just wanted to leave this so management could also acknowledge how great she is!! Thanks again Elizabeth!
