I was pretty excited for this new location to open, it was hyped up and opening day there was a huge line. The building is very large, you'd think it was going to be a sweet new spot!
Unfortunately, most of the building is not the shopping area. I was disappointed with the small size of the shopping bin area compared to the size of the building, it feels like less than half of the building is retail. They also had 5-6 bins of books, 4-5 bins of junk hard items and everything else was clothing. No furniture, very little home goods, less hard line items than Dig n Save.
It was also disappointing to see dozens of corporate suits taking pictures on their personal phones of people shopping and diving into the bins. It felt creepy and patronizing, since people were coming to get cheap and good stuff -- of which there was seemingly little.
I'll try again someday, but overall, I was sadly disappointed. read more
