They closed the top floor so it's now pretty limited and the "reasonable prices" have certainly fallen off. The woman at the front desk seemed less than thrilled that I was there and seemed rather annoyed at me and my friend. I bought an item for $18. She rang it up, after fees, it came out to $19.47. She then told me that "I better go find another item" because there's a $20 minimum for credit card purchases. Really? She couldn't make an exception for the $.53 I was off by? I told her to just add the difference and charge my credit card an even $20. She then proceeded to charge me $21.10 for some reason. Glad you got $3 and evaded the $.03 credit card fee but you lost a customer for life. Sigh.

The mall was accessible for wheelchairs for entrances and getting to the second floor with an easily accessed elevator. But the aisles and the space within the booths can be pretty narrow. Making accessibility kinda hard in certain areas. I was a tad nervous just walking in certain tight spaces. This place was a mix of vintage items, Victorian era, limited primitive selection. Upstairs has a great MCM glass vendor. Also a large section for vintage clothing. We were given a low down from the guys at Watertown that some of the vendors from Odana went to Waterloo. Which makes sense. The first floor side room screams Odana vendors, especially the prices.

When I showed him the furniture, he immediately told me what it would fetch at auction (sadly my furniture was not worth much in Phil's estimation). He told me my furniture was not worth what it would cost to refinish it. And then he told me I should buy a similar type of furniture in his store because it was "nicer" than what I had. All I wanted was an estimate to refinish two pieces of antique furniture that are of sentimental value to me. I didn't want a "bait and switch". If you are serious about having your furniture refinished, I would go elsewhere. If you are looking for some nice antiques, you would like his shop.

Recently they opened a small women's consignment shop next to the Home Decor store that is decorated so cute. They paired pieces together in ways I would have never thought. The consignment deal is really fair and she takes great brands. What a way to save a few dollars or make a few dollars in this economy. I will be taking some clothes to them soon for consignment. Only stipulations are that they are on hangers, just a few years old, still look new and are pressed. (You get your hangers back!)
