Ive been shopping at this location for quite awhile ,this afternoon I was looking at some cds on a cart they just put out my husband hands me one (Led Zep IV) for 2.99. I tell him thats too expensive and put it back. from Behind me an employee who is stocking ( woman with long stringy hair) interupts us telling us we are wrong and they go for a lot on eBay . we tell her they are not so she gets unhinged and tells us we are mean??? She interupted someone elses conversation that has nothing to do with her and tries to start an argument but we are the ones being mean. then as as she walks away mumbles then you can leave. which we heard and is the reason for this review, otherwise we would have just let it go. read more

The workers who work here are very rude and unhappy. They act as if u should be working their job and they should be paid for it. Also unlike other goodwills where there's a color of the week this one only has a color of the weekend. There are cute things donated to this store but I wouldn't buy anything from here if it means having to support the people working here. I dropped off donations at this location. My review is only based on drop-off, as I did not go inside the store. It was easy and swift to drop off donations! To donate, you just drive up behind the store, the two workers were friendly and very helpful. They helped unload from the car and they emptied our boxes/bags into these big blue bins they have and they separated into similar type of items- clothes, shoes, housewares. This location is in the same shopping center as In-n-Out, so make sure to use the driveway that is not the in-n-out drive-thru line, or you may get stuck in their traffic. What happened to Goodwill all across the nation? In particular, all the ones in So Cal, and the one I go to in Burbank is so pricey. $14.99, $19.99, and above for dry goods? Really? How do you expect us to shop there? I think it's all about volume, that is lower your prices so that people will buy more stuff and then you won't have tons of items just collecting dust over there. I see folks including myself donating regularly so there is no shortage of inventory. Price them lower so people will buy! Even people on YouTube say the thing and they are from Texas and Nevada. No dressing rooms, very unhappy looking rude staff, and everything is super unorganized and all over the place. Also maybe it was just my experience but most of the clothes didn't have size tags on the tags OR on the clothes themselves. Literally cut out of the clothes. So strange. Either way, will I be back? This review is for the donation area only. If you're not sure if Goodwill will take ur item/appliance, just call ahead! We called ahead to see if they would take an old television set (not flat screen), and the Goodwill employee was very professional and knowledgeable. He told us we could bring in the tv, working or not, and could drop it off after filling out a form. PRO TIP: If you have heavy items to donate like we did, I suggest driving your car to the back of the Goodwill, and dropping it off straight from your car to them. They had a staff member working back there taking donations, and you can fill out the form there too. No need to find parking or lug in your bulky things. Worked out perfectly! Very convenient. Highly recommend bringing your things here to donate! read more

This is a great Goodwill. The team keeps it super clean and the prices are right. This thrift has a small houseware area and a large section for clothes. They get great donations so you can certainly find a deal from time to time! Tip: Monday is senior discount day - a whopping 25%!!!! read more

I stopped in this new Goodwill looking for something I could turn into an ugly Christmas sweater and found lots of good ideas and bought three sweaters and a blouse. Store is clean enough, with wide aisles and friendly helpful employees. Medium size toy selection, with some household appliances and a little furniture but mostly women's clothing, kid's clothing and men's clothing. read more

I meant to leave this review ages ago. Every time I come here I find some sort of gem I can't live without out. The store is clean and well organized making treasure hunting seamless and fun. I'm an avid thrifter because of my love of all things vintage and 50's so I've been to a ton but the staff here is what really stands out. Always so polite an willing to help lend a hand and a smile. I purchased a gorgeous Audrey Hepburn painting and the handsome store manager Spencer (I believe that's what his coworker said his name was) personally assisted taking it down and offered to carefully carry it for me. A1 service that really deserves to be recognized. I strongly recommend considering your next purchase to be from here. If we all bought our next outfit second hand we'd reduce carbon emissions, water waste and landfill space. Not to mention you're helping your community provide jobs. The best thing about Goodwill is that even if you were flat broke you can still do it in style. It located at the same plaza of In-N-Out Burger in Newbury Park. The store is clean and well organized. The employees are very professional and polite. I feel like stepped in a high end department store. It's my first time to shop this location, the best experience of shopping Goodwills. I bought 8 brand-name outfits for toddler only cost $20.(regular price- $1.99 for kids top, $2.99 for kids pants, $4.99 for jacket) They post the date for sale at front door. I arrived at the location 11-18-19 at about 1:30 to drop off some items. I waited for a while so I put some of my items by a sign that said Drop off items here. Then this guy came out of nowhere, very rude he was very thin with a long scruffy beard. I asked him where I should put the stuff and he goes, "can't you see put it in the track." I handed him a Christmas tree with ornaments and he took it and threw it as hard as he could inside the truck. I've never been so disrespected in my life when out of the kindness of my heart I bring items there for mothers and children. read more

This is a very Good Goodwill. The ol Goodwill stank aint there yet. The workers are cool and some of them give realy good deals. If you have an item with a certain color, make sure you ask, "how much are green tags" or "how much for the purple ones". Also if you have a donation bring it to the front, no im kidding the donation center is by the drumpster out back. I didn't get any gas from the store but i did have gas while i was in the store from sharkys and it was a 4/5 not too strong. read more

I like the store, you can tell they are trying to social distance; but they failed miserably today when I was checking out and the young man behind the cash register almost could not control his coughing or trying to adjust the phlegm in his throat. This is completely unacceptable during the Covid pandemic and while I don't necessarily fault the cashier, management should send him home. The young man seemed perfectly fine and kind and all of that, but if he's coughing even wearing a mask and trying to clear his throat of phlegm, he shouldn't be there and management should send him home, I fault management for doing nothing. No one should be working if they're not feeling well! Other than that the store was fine and the other employees were friendly and kind, but it is just unacceptable to have an employee coughing during the pandemic! Send him home till he feels better and pay for his sick days!!! read more

Os glad we have another Goodwill in town. This is a Huge store. Lal kinds of neat treasures. The staff are very friendly and greet you as you shop. I bought my dad a Bella brand single serve coffee maker for $15. Highly recommend stopping in and exploring inside. Tbey have odd items from Target that are new goods that are a value too read more
