The value is immeasurable because of the peace and comfort you get during a stressful time of your life. Not having to worry about cost is a huge relief for anyone. They also have rolling carts and you can request snacks and drinks from there as well. All their volunteers and employees are caring and polite. You hope you never have to worry e to use their services but it's nice to know they are there.

We provided community service to the farm…read morethrough weeding, picking vegetables, shoveling dirt, moving picnic tables, but also creating community in unity with one another. Peacehaven Farm is growing by leaps and bounds, and is currently renovating a large barn to be an event space. I look forward to returning to Peacehaven to volunteer in the future and attend events they offer. The value is in the people that live at Peacehaven Farm, as it provides opportunity for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Today we celebrated the life of my friend, Mike Farrell, by serving at Peachaven Farms. The project leader was so kind and helpful, always answering with a smile. The head honcho, Buck, was so grateful for our service, and really understood our need to honor our dear friend. We had 40 people, which was a large group for the small area we were in, but they made sure we all felt a part of what was going on. They made sure the day was "ours" so that we could talk about Mike, and do whatever felt like we were honoring him. We will be going back next year, but maybe even before then!
