The employee who checked us out was super nice. He gave us mor einfo about the store and gave my son a free item because he was wearing a Star wars shirt. I will be back when I am in need of items for my home.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

This place is what you'd expect: full of used stuff, no frills, cheap. That being said the selection is pretty good and the store is actually organized, which is a step up from competitors. I saw lots of interesting things, and I think you could find something for anyone here. I happened to find an amazing pair of vintage leather sandals in my size and I am still ecstatic about it. I wish they were just a tad less expensive, but as long as they end up lasting, they'll be worth it. I'm usually able to find things that I like at this goodwill but the service is terrible I've had…read moremany not so great experiences with the service but my most recent visit was the worst, I waited for a dressing room for about ten minutes which didn't bother me I had only rung the bell once, a while after a mom and kids came and the kids rung the bell a few times which I understand can be annoying but then I realize the people on duty are fully ignoring me for the next five to ten minutes I wait, literally just staring at me, I assume they were annoyed by the bell ringing and assumed I was the one ringing it but regardless these are 30-40 year old women acting like children when they are getting paid to help and act nice, I finally went up to the counter and asked even though they seemed annoyed that I would go up and ask after fifteen minutes of waiting

It has…read morea great selection of items for women and babies, including baby toys, strollers and other cool things. It's a very quiet laid back atmosphere with a very welcoming and friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable and go towards the non profit The Parenting Path. They also have a great selection of kids books and are all free. You can also donate at checkout by rounding up or giving the option of $1, $2, or $3 donation. This is a great thrift store for the budget conscious.

It's neatly organized and everything is high quality. As a first time consigner, the process is very easy and affordable. You can do what they call "walk-in Wednesday" and bring up to 15 items to consign and only pay a $5 fee to open an account. Several of my items sold and the whole process is simple. I would recommend shopping here for sure and if you want to get rid of some items you no longer wear, give consigning a go. They even sent me a handwritten card in the mail to thank me for my business. Top notch customer service in my opinion.
