This place was a new experience for me. Went to the pay by weight side and wow it's disgusting. There are these big table like bins filled with gross clothes and some broken items in a huge room. Not my cup of tea. The retail side had a lot of neat things in it though. We walked around for a bit picking through the multitudes of items there . I ended up with a few things as well. read more

I am a HUGE fan of Goodwill Outlet stores for two reasons: 1. Everything is pay by the pound, and 2. It's like a treasure hunt every time. There is just an abundance of items for you to dig through, you never know what you'll find. This location is so big, it would take hours to look through everything. They rotate the bins out every hours or so. Everyone lines up to dig in the new bins- it's like an animal feeding frenzy! It kind of gives you an adrenaline rush. I drive an hour to get here, and come several times a week because it's well worth the drive. This location is the biggest outlet I have been to. They have a retail store right next door if you prefer a more organized shopping experience. I've been here numerous times, and am never let down by my finds! Forever a fan! read more

This location is conveniently located off Peter's Creek Parkway - although there's not a turn-in for northbound traffic so you'll have to go up to the next light and U-Turn back to get in. The parking lot is large and clean, so there's plenty of room to park. The donation center is towards the back of the building and has a covered patio which is very nice if it's raining. This is one of GW NorthWest North Carolina's multi-role stores - they have both the usual Goodwill retail store, as well as one of their outlet stores. In the outlet store, it's pay-by-the-pound, and you have to root around in big storage tables to find your goods. It's very hit or miss, but the prices are even lower than the normal retail store, so can be a big bargain. They also have some of their job-placement / training offices here as well, so if you're looking for a new trade or a new job, this might be a place to check that out. read more

Seems like it's a higher end goodwill boutique style store with an attached outlet. Some of their prices were pretty good some were rather high just depending on what you were looking at. There was a used/open container of body gel that they wanted $2 that was pretty gross. read more

Cashier was friendly, however the place was a mess. I know it's suppose to be all bins of items, but stuff just thrown everywhere.

This a nice location of Goodwill. The store was bright and the employees were nice. I liked how the areas were labeled and the isles were not cluttered. They had some Hanes brand items there very cheap which was cool. I will be back. read more

The bins/outlet side was organized chaos, as to be expected, but the actual retail store seemed disorganized, very cramped, and aside from the young man at the cash register, other employees acted as if they'd rather be anywhere other than there. Hard goods were crammed onto shelves (as well as in the floor), bathing suits weren't organized by size (or really anything), messy. Found a few good deals, but not sure it was worth my time, unfortunately. I used to enjoy my trips to this store. Hopefully it was just 'one of those days,' and things will be better when I give it one more shot. read more

This place is better than Mega Thrift but still kind of sad. They had decent dresses but the rest of the clothing was kind of so/so. They had a couple of hundred hard drives and some computers for people to buy, so that's nice. The book selection is very sad. The cashier was very nice though. Also, this is a clean facility with ample parking. read more

This Goodwill location has retail store and an outlet store. The retail store has decent corner of new things from Target and other home goods stores. I especially like their bagged bundles of Target dollar shop goodies for $3. Otherwise it's hard for me to shop the retail store with that outlet next door! Tell outlet is unlike anything I've ever seen! Rows of giant bins filled with random stuff... clothes, toys, home items, electronics, books+++ also furniture. You sort through and pay by the pound. It's an amazing adventure!... never know what you will find. I generally bring a tote bag and stuff it full for under $5. They have carts but it is difficult to maneuver. Things I have found include: brand new mall brands dress clothes (Express, Limited), premium denim (Seven, True Religion), cute bags (recycled coke bottle bag, tie dyed peace sign tote), travel tees, containers for storage, craft supplies and a bowling ball! Tons of fun but be prepared for the hunt, it's a little overwhelming. And do not touch the bins in a row they are changing out... there's a process involved! read more

This isn't the best goodwill that I've been to. The toys were on top of the clothes racks, so it was difficult for my son to look through and choose one. Also, clothes weren't organized by size. Just randomly mixed in the racks. We just shipped the retail store, not the outlet, but based off of that we won't be back to this Goodwill. read more

I love this place I enjoy looking through all the bins I've found some great stuff. My only complaint is on Sunday I've got there at 4:30 and they already started closing up task. Like there's still a hour and a half and there rolling bins to the back and telling us every 10 mins there closing at 6pm. Other then that it's great! read more

This store claims to sell computers and parts, but when you arrive, their display shelves resemble decomposing roadkill. You'll notice a few people lurking about with bluetooth headsets and upon further observation will notice they are not security officers, but rather, friends with special insider privilege and connection. These lurkers will receive a call (from the back room) and they begin congregating just outside the double doors. An employee will emerge pushing a cart and the vulchers will pick it clean. You can purchase a laptop carcass located inside the front, locked display case but it will cost double it's street value by the time you replace all the molested and missing parts. How is this recycling and job skills training. It is tantamount to gutting a sturgeon and selling it as a pet and keeping or selling the caviar to your close homeys. It is sad that generous donations are being exploited in this fashion and under the symbol of Goodwill. read more
