(instead of 30 minutes) to get service done at Southern Farm Supply. Michael in the service department has always been available to answer questions by phone and if I've needed to take the tractor in, he's even come out to look at the tractor before I take it off the trailer to see if it's something they can fix/repair on the spot rather than having to leave it. Everyone I've interacted with has been very helpful and willing to help wherever possible. They will continue to get my business as long as they continue the great customer service I've experienced with them!

We've done business with Wayne Gravely in the past and never had an issue until now. My husband took his Cub Cadet mower in for repair. They told him it might take about a month to get to it, but they expected it would be sooner. Over three months went by with no update. During that time, my husband called and even stopped by four different times, and every time they said they hadn't gotten to it yet. On the last visit, they admitted they had actually lost it in the back and couldn't read the notes from when he dropped it off because the writing had faded. When they finally called, they said it was ready -- and the bill was $992. Almost a thousand dollars, with no phone call for approval before doing the work. Any reputable repair shop calls first to confirm the cost, especially when it's that high. For that price, we could have bought a good used mower. We're extremely disappointed in Wayne Gravely in Lenoir and won't be returning.

They are all very friendly, and not just because they want to sell you something. They are genuine people. They encourage you to shop around other stores and see that they are offering very fair prices. They have a great selection. I got a La-Z-Boy recliner from them. After about a month I just wasn't happy with the looseness of the fabric. We went back in and Zack said no problem, without even seeing it. They came to my home, picked it up and had one of their upholsterers fix it free of charge to us. He did an excellent job and it was returned to us quickly. Rumple did not hesitate to make this purchase right, while being friendly about it. You rarely can find customer service like this anymore. They will be my go to furniture store from now on. Thanks Rumple Family, for caring about your customers and your products.

She was very knowledgeable about the product and, in fact, made me aware of a new furniture option (power recline!) that none of the other dealers we had contacted even were aware existed and that we really wanted (we had considered a lower quality set just to get this option.) Susanne was very patient and helpful through the process even though we spent hours pouring over fabrics before making our final selection. We never felt any pressure during the selection or sales process. Delivery was made the day after our custom furniture arrived in their store and set up was professional and courteous. Rumple has a great selection of furniture, truly something for every budget. They offer free delivery within a certain radius of the store. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about the whole experience.

Emerald Hollow Mine is the PERFECT day trip for all ages!! I can't think of the last time I have…read morehad this much genuine fun and excitement! When you go, find out if Lowell, one of their volunteers, is one-site: he enhanced our experience tenfold! There are 3 different activities that you can choose from: digging, sluicing, and creeking. You can pay for one activity or a combination. * Digging: You can rent a shovel or bring your own, and dig your own dirt. If you want to sluice the dirt on site (it would be silly to lug it all home) you have to pay for sluicing, too. The employee said that digging is difficult but the plus-side is that if you pay for digging and sluicing, you can sluice through as many buckets as you'd like! * Sluicing: You can rent a hand shovel and sifter and sit at a wooden trough with running water and sift through dirt/clay. If you did not dig your own dirt as described above, then you'll need to pay for an "enhanced" bucket: buckets of dirt that are pre-filled with gems and stones found locally as well as mined elsewhere. There are about 10-15 varieties of buckets, describing the types of gems you can find, ranging from $5-$250. * Creeking: You can rent a hand shovel and sifter and dig at the mine's creek for natural stones and gems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --- this is a review that has been sitting in my drafts since ~2020? But deserves to be posted! I will never forget Lowell and how he ignited my passion for rocks, natural gems, and lapidary work! I now have my own lapidary studio in my garage!! THANK YOU, LOWELL! A real life changer!

And you're required to use those crummy tools. Can't use your own. All you'll find are tiny pieces of quartz because they limit you to a tiny section of the creek that is TORN up. However, if you feel like pointlessly digging through dry, red clay you can use your own tools. Then, after tiring yourself out you can buy imported dirt buckets for ridiculously high prices. Because you won't get anything worth from the creek or "dig site"
