This place has an ample parking lot and it always seems almost full because so many people like to come here. They do take donations which can be dropped off behind the store. Like most thrift stores, there's a lot of clothing dominating the floor space, but there's plenty of hard goods to be found around the perimeter. In the back corner of the store, you'll find furniture and lots of clean mattresses along with seven fitting rooms. At the front of the store is a very good selection of books, CDs, and DVDs. It's got everything you would expect to find at a thrift store and the restrooms do not require a key. All the jewelry and high dollar items are in the glass cases at the checkout. I did notice that much of the clothing is priced higher than your average Goodwill. Madison seems to have 3 types of thrift stores. Goodwill, St Vinnies, and those run by churches…read moreand/or church ladies. This is the latter type, and they all seem to be very similar (Bethesda, Agrace, etc). Less crowds, traffic, anxiety, and clutter than Goodwill and St Vinnies, but also less selection. Check back regularly and you will find some treasures. For the most part the prices are fair. If I specifically need something, I start with Goodwill, because I have the best chance of browsing. But I dont always feel like stopping in Goodwill just to browse. Versus it can be very peaceful to stop in Boomerangs, or similar. I've probably been there a dozen times since they opened, and bought something 3 of the times. They have furniture, which not all thrift stores carry. The staff has always been helpful.

When I came across an extremely dirty pair of ripped boxers, I decided that my time there was done and walked out.
