Everywhere I looked, no one was taking clothes donations. I came upon this place and told them off the bat that I have baby girl clothes to donate. I hit the jackpot because there happened to be a lady who is 9 days away from her due date and she's pregnant with A GIRL! I brought her all the stuff I had and she and the staff were so greatful. They are doing the best they can to help these young families so if you can, donate to them! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back.

They pick and choose who the rules apply too, they give certain clients chance after chance while sticking to the book with others. The treatment by caseworkers is totally unfair and biased. Some clients have followed every rule to a tee while other clients constantly break rules daily yet see no consequence. Staff members have lied numerous times on clients which has caused them to be exited early simply off false statements. Clients were allowed to come back after attacking their spouse and destroying their property, also an adult client was allowed to stay after verbally and almost physically attacking a child and yet clients have been exited off pure lies and hearsay. It's clients that are visibly high/drunk daily yet staff allows them to come and go as they please consequence free. The staff overall is just rude all around and feel as if they are above certain clients because of the position they're at in life and it's just unacceptable. My stay there was by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had in my life.

Helped me apply for Eviction Protection Program that I was accepted for. The program, set up to…read morehelp during the COVID-19 pandemic, directly paid my landlord $2650 for past due rent. The people at the Tenant Resource Center got my rent payments up to date before I even got an email reply to a pre-application for another program run by a different agency. Through the years of renting in Madison the Tenant Resource Center has answered countless questions about my rights as a tenant. They do get very busy so but it's worth waiting for the call back. They also have reviews by tenants of their landlords that has helped me to find a great place to live with a caring landlord.

I've come to this church several dozen times now. There is some (some) good worship music. And…read moreoccasionally a very inspired message. I also believe there are some good people here. (Pastor Cory was great.) My issue? They dress like slobs. To me, it seems fake and like they are trying to relate to "the common man."I'm not a fan of the skinny jeans and fog machine churches. But these guys wearing shorts and dirty shirts? They are often wrinkled messes. In shorts . Preaching. Men in their 50's and 60's. Is it disrespectful to the Lord? Is it insulting to the congregation? God KNOWS our hearts and John the Baptist wore camel skins, slung over his shoulder. So seriously is it wrong that I think those on stage shouldn't be among the worst dressed of all? The leaders have one job basically - and that's to preach on Sunday morning. And yet when that time comes all they can find is a pair of shorts and an wrinkled ill-fitting shirt? It just doesn't ring true. They wouldn't dress like this go out to dinner I imagine. And yet here at church.... The Chapel group- It's a very successful organization. What gives? I dress nicer to sit on my couch.
