Molly's Cobbler Shop - Cool little store - packed with stuff!

I was mad because even though the boats were old, they were in great shape and most likely hard to replace. Instead of throwing them out, I took them to Molly's. It think I was charge $12 and he fixed both boots like brand new! So worth it. The shop is really cool. Smells like leather and shoe polish (in a good way) and even though the place was tiny... it was packed with a lot of neat stuff. I would say, stop in and walk around... but you literally only have to spin around to see the whole showroom! Owner was really friendly and he did a great job. Nice to support small, local businesses. Especially when they do a great service.

The place is small; but packed full of good stuff. Where else can you find mustache wax and beard oil? Need a hat or a Sheboygan t-shirt, here's where you can find you heart's desire. But the main attraction here is the owner. Kevin is a character right out of the 19th century. I call that a compliment as I am straight out of the same century. A century of individualism, hard work and honesty. My wife needed two pairs of boot repaired. Kevin did a fine job on both. Mind you Kevin is on island time. Be prepared to wait a week or more to get your job done. The job will be done perfectly; but if you're impatient or have entitlement issues you might want to go else where. In a consumption, throw away society this place makes a stand against wasting leather. I used to have a favorite leather conditioner called Lexol. Unfortunately it is no longer made. I asked Kevin what he had. He showed us several products and we picked the one he recommended. His expertise about treating and preserving leather was good enough for me. Kevin is a really nice guy who is genuinely glad to have you in his store. If you need any leather repair, leather products or some free advice, it would behoove you to stop in this unique little place. Get your favorite old boots repaired. Heck, you never know when you might need some mustache wax.

Today, I got my son a mattress and box spring at furniture store in Plymouth, Wisconsin…read more They were out of metal frames. Our sales person suggested we try the thrift store in the same strip mall. I found a twin/full metal frame that I wanted to buy. They were on the sales floor in a 55 gallon barrel with the top cut off. Before I could reach for it, I was told that I can't just free roam the furniture area. I saw other people (woman) looking, so I asked the woman why. She told me that fear people will switch tags. I informed her that I want to buy a twin/full metal bed frame. All the metal bed frames of that style were marked $25.00. In an effort to nice about it, I asked if she could call up the register. Then inform they it was $25. She wouldn't do that. I had to wait for a male employee to show up. He showed up 20 mins later. She watched me the entire top we waited. When he arrived, I told him I wanted to buy a twin/full bed frame. He looked at me funny. I was questioned as why I pick up it up, and take it to the register. My son pointed at the woman, and she unleashed hell on my 9 year old son. She used curse words and called us "tag switchers". In an effort to defend my son, I informed her all the ones of that style were $25. I suggested that cashiers knew they were all $25, and the woman unleashed hell on me. In an effort to avoid any further issue, I asked the male to walk us to the door of the store. I didn't want to give the woman the opportunity to say we stole something. As we walked to the door, the woman screamed at us at top of her lungs. When I saw the frames were $25, I was happy. The furniture store wanted $79.99. I would have gladly paid $25 for one. This woman thought I guilty of trying to switch tags, so I was automatically guilty. Not all white men are bad. Please, stop judging us!
