The only thing that keeps me from giving it the full 5 stars is that their selection is pretty sparse. I know that it isn't the largest store in the world, but it takes about 30 minutes to peruse through. They do have a great selection of new books and are usually very up-to-date when it comes to that. The prices are a little higher as it usually is with Book World - but you cannot put a price on that new-book smell.

X-ray oven mitts, talk-to-your-cat spray, snarky socks, music boxes, crazy cat lady action figures, you name it! The CDs are very fairly priced, even the newer ones, and if there is an album that you want that they do not have in-stock, they are more than happy to order it for you. I've had a few CDs I was considering buying, but wasn't sure what the music was like, so the owner would just put the music on in the store so I could preview prior to buying. Super cool staff/owner, always changing inventory and definitely one of my favorite shops in the area. No scratch that. My FAVORITE shop in the area!

And the price was very reasonable. Today I stopped by with a garment bag with leather trim. A large snap on it needed a repair. Again they came though! Stitch and new snap attached while I waited. Oh did I mention it's fun to wait. So many beautiful accessories to look at. Necklaces, earrings, clothing, and purses. Wonderful, well made gifts. Everyone was so nice and friendly. A keeper!

The classes the Manitowoc site offers are excellent. If you want to see how fun they are, photos are displayed on their website. You get to take home your finished project to decorate your home or give as a gift. They have a large selection of everything you might be looking for as decorations for your home or garden, such as fairy garden and gnome house supplies. There are larger patio or garden decorations too, Take in the art work, air plants, and don't forget specialty gifts. Don't forget to enjoy the scents from the tea corner. They are just to die for!
