Sweet deal.. huge playhouse $19.99. Very organized and ladies are so sweet. Its moms secret treasure hunt.

I was able to get a box full of color books to give out for Halloween.

I enjoy browsing around Goodwill, you never know what you might find. I happened to be here a few days before Halloween and noticed a bunch of Halloween coloring books and thought it would be a great idea to give out the the little ones for Halloween. I was able to purchase 75 books and it was a huge hit to the parents as I gave them out, as for the kids, not so much, most of them gave me a look of disappointment until I finally gave them candies too. haha. It was fun.

It states plastic diner $1.97 but you told me it's 3.99

How can you improve? Start by abiding by your signage regarding prices. Don't be making up prices that are $2-$4 more than what is clearly shown on your price sheet. Why tell me this is the price but you have no supporting evidence to show me. But your sheets shows $1.97 Make this make sense

Wedding dress on the big day!

I have been cleaning house and donating to Goodwill Hawaii in Kapolei for a long time. It just so happened that one day after donating, a staff member mentioned to me something peculiar. Someone had donated a preserved wedding dress, still in the box. It was fate. It was my size and I was looking for a dress! I was able to try it on and LOVED it. Two of the staff members helped me open the box and try it. The staff here are so helpful. Usually they help me to get my donations in. This time around, they helped me find my wedding dress! Thank you Kapolei Goodwill! You helped this coupon clipper find a great deal and save money! Nobody believed me about getting my dress here because well...i looked great! Any future brides, if you want to save, don't overlook Goodwill Kapolei. They have a rack of wedding dresses and maybe you too may luck out with one intact in a box :)

Nice thrift shop. Very organized. Fair prices. Went to look for teacups, $1 each. Ended up with a convertible skirt/dress 6.99. donate some change - round up your total. Support local charities. Not too far from Costco. Nice donation area as well.

I was in dire need of Halloween decorations for my womens group for Ronald McDonald's house. It was nice to get creative with so much nick nacks. That made it to be different projects. My passion to shop for others that will make them smile and be happy

Came here to drop off some old clothes&heels. I had a difficult time finding the place. Thank God for GPS. LOL* Doesn't look like you typical GoodWill from the road but when you pull up, your like oooooh okay. For a New GoodWill its really ugly. I'm not sure its because its a second hand store? There was only like 2 workers inside. Not friendly at all, probally just working there out of probation or because they just finished drug rehab. (Cuz yanoe Goodwill has that apprenticeship program with those types of programs to let people that have fallen get bac,k on their feet again and into society.) Anyways, it was somewhat organized I've seen better run thirft stores. Okay overall but I think I'm gona stick to donating my clothes to savers instead. I just so happened to be in the area that's why I thought I'd drop by save some time. lol

Flew to L.A., then to Schofield Army Base for housing. Waiting list (3 yrs !) for housing, I stayed at Base Hotel at $165/day. Then told to leave after 1 month because active soldiers needed the room (paid more $). Angry about that, moved out to Hotels near the airport at ~ $200/DAY! With only a computer & phone, and the money saved from teaching, I tried many places and finally on my last leg from Hotel costs, I called US VETS in Kapolei. A 'Behavior Psychologist' understood I had $300 left at the Central YMCA, and came to my rescue. I carried my large 5 bag of clothing to the site, meet the man, filed out many forms, and was given a 3-man room for $170 A MONTH, 3 good meals a day, internet hook-up, A/C living spaces, and other Vets to talk to everyday, some who had some of the same problems living in this expense State of HI. Most men had health problems from past wars ... Vietnam, Korea, some from the Gulf. Few had drug problems, but most were just financially broke like myself. This is what is important: It gives a man time to search for housing and a job without worrying about food, shelter, security, and a feeling of loneliness. To leave that place is ON YOU, not the people working there! They do provide job fairs, job training, employees to change one's behavior problems in class ... but to find housing, I used the internet & phone to contact Charities for Housing. Fill out the forms and don't give up. Waiting for an answer takes patience and luck. After one year, I was lucky to get a great place in Mililani, got a Substitute Teaching Certificate for HI schools, and financed a car for transport. Let me add one more Item which is important when living at US VETS, your assigned Manager is very important. I had a good one (Gary) who gave me more internet time, DD-214 research, always available for discussions of importance. So I read some sad reviews on US VETS, and decided to even out the score. I went to so many schools overthinking each and every decision about where we should register her. And the waitlists are the worst in Hawaii because you don't have a firm answer - you just wait - wondering when a spot will come up and if they will call. Seagull School Ko'Olina was not our first decision I will admit, but only because of where it is located. I am so glad they called us! It is a hidden gem well worth the drive. We have had the other schools call and we have no intentions of moving her. The teachers, the school, the front office, everything continue to impress me. My daughter gets the very most out of the school. The book fairs, the teachers (not just her own - they all know her name!), extra programs like soccer, the play, the curriculum, and the friends - it is a wonderful balance.
