The store is very clean, the selection is wonderful here and the value is INSANE! I found and bought 4 pair of Abercrombie Jeans, 1 pair of Hollister jeans, 1 pair of old navy rockstar jeans, 2 Phillies shirts from MLB.Com and 2 Guess shirt - everything had the tags on them from the original stores - I bought all of that brand new with tags for .... $27.00!!!!! Now I went on a Sunday morning which is the $2-$3 sale for certain tag colors and I looked and went through ALOT and took over an hour but it was the deal of a lifetime! read more

An employee ripped a toy out of my daughter's hands tonight, making her cry. She insinuated that she didn't think we were going to purchase it anyway and it needed to be re-bagged so she took it to re-bag it. I stayed in the store looking for the toy again but it was never put back on the shelves. I frequent this location once or twice a week and I now feel like I no longer want to spend a single dollar here. read more

Mostly a decent place to shop and find treasures. The employees are mostly helpful and pleasant. However I've had the unfortunate opportunity to be in the presence of the general manager. I actually did not know that she was the general manger until I asked one of the employees. She was rude to me, then I heard her bark orders to her employees like they were here slaves. This is now the second time I've seen this behavior from her. I feel bad for anyone that has to work under her. I ask, and her name was Melissa. I'm not sure anyone will care, but I sure hope someone speaks to her about her attitude not only for the customers but for those poor employees as well. read more

Priciest Goodwill I've ever been in!!! Books individually priced, many were $3.99. Used puzzles with beat up boxes - $6.99. Who is setting these pricepoints? Store was extremely cluttered and disorganized; It felt more like an overpriced flea market than a thrift store. read more

I love shopping at goodwill which btw is a multi billion dollar company. I have also donated tons of pretty great things to goodwill. I usually go to the one closer to home but went to Hammonton this time. Went on a Sunday and waited in line for about 20 minutes since COVID they are only allowing so many people in. My husband and I finally made it in and I had to go to the bathroom. Couldn't use there's so I asked if I could come back in when I return (my husband was still in goodwill). The employee working at the door told me "NO. You will have to wait back in line again. " Wow. The line was still long. Also, I just witnessed her allowing another person to leave to get her wallet. I was honestly disappointed at how mean and rude and just miserable the employee was to me. I mean come on, I had to pee really bad. I would have to wait in line for 20 minutes while my husband was still in goodwill. I understand the employees don't make a lot of money but it's just human decency. Be kind to people goodwill. If you search really hard through the unorganized piles of stuff, you can find some real gems. For example, I went through a bin of children's toys, and imagine my surprise when I found a large piece of metal hardware that normally I'd have to break open a lamp to get! If you're looking for ceramic figures missing at least one appendage, then look no further because this store always keeps broken items on it's shelves..! In the mood to pay $1.99 for a chipped dollar store trinket? Then come on down to Hammonton Goodwill, where the price tags will always surprise you. Ok on a serious note.. Lots of overpriced and broken items. If Target donated to a thrift store and the item's original price was $2.49, it's obnoxious of Goodwill to price it for $4.99. I know it's a charity, but they should also take into consideration that the people who shop there may not have a lot. Every time I've ever gone, I've seen broken items on display. I don't like you Hammonton Goodwill, but I must be a masochist because I end up going back to you, only for you to disappoint me again. read more

This store by far is my favorite in south jersey. Sunday's are the Best Buy's because it's Sunday dollar day. I gave it 3 stars because they lack in designer finds but I have found some good buys in the jean department. It can get crazy busy on Sunday so go early. The prices are good in my opinion. read more

Visited today and I must say it's a very big store. They also offer $1 Sundays (which I'll be checking out soon). But today I got some ok items. They have some designer stuff however, I did not see alot. I gave it a 3 stars only because I didn't see lots of designer stuff. I will visit again and will reassess this store. Best Goodwill I've been to. Clothing items sorted by size. Tags have price, size and date item was put on floor clearly marked. Sticky tags on dishes and hard items are water soluble and leave no residue. There's even a section with New with tags clothing. Many higher end clothing labels too. read more

This Goodwill store is about like your average location. Rather junky and unorganized at times. Other times, things are displayed in orderly fashion. Nonetheless, it'll do in a pinch since I'm too cheap to buy a lot of things new. I'm writing this review because I'm APPALLED at the double standards in their pricing of certain items. Case in point, I bought at least a dozen Videotapes, and the sign clearly posted they're 4 for $1, including the Movie tapes in larger plastic cases. But 5 of those tapes were a 5-pack set of Western movies without a price sticker. One would think they should be treated as any other videotape; it's not like they were brand new. When I got up to the counter I would have bought 20 tapes total, but then the clerk said the movie set alone would've been $4.99. WHAT?! That's a complete ripoff!!!! That's like 4 times the amount those tapes should've cost. (And in my opinion, even if they did mark them $4.99, that STILL doesn't make it right.) Though the girl was polite enough and offered to bring over the manager, I declined and just put those tapes back. I figure them losing a little bit of a sale would speak louder than simply arguing with a manager. Then again, it's not your average "business," it's Goodwill; what'll they care? This is not the first time a Goodwill store has tried to rip me off in this manner, by the way. Now I can see why there's a wide-spread message floating around about "Think before you donate," which Goodwill, of course, is trying to desperately deny. read more

Employees are great and very nice but the prices in this good will is like buying online, they charge way too much for they're stuff. The managers look up every item then put tags on them, this is not good for the bargain hunter. If you want people to keep coming back then mark the prices for a bargain not 3.00 dollars less then what you can buy it on ebay for that I can stay home and save money on gas. This store is not organized, and forget about using your cell phone to look up items as you check for the prices you will get no service on your phone. read more

Worse goodwills you will ever go to; too expensive and they look up every item of value before putting it out! They have computers in the back and they look up values on eBay and mark the items accordingly! If you're looking for a place to find treasures to resell this is not the place to buy from! They have Great front end employees which are sadly under paid like all goodwills! read more

This review is for all Goodwills. The general public thinks that Goodwill is a charity. It is not. It is a business. They receive donations and then see at a profit. Many stores have started to price too high to turn more profit. The CEO of Goodwill makes $650,000.00 a year !!!! read more
