I'd say I frequent this place at least once a month. There is one tag color at half price all week…read morelong, but three tag colors on sale on Wednesdays. If you're interested in a good bargain, Wednesday is the best day. This place shifts in prices according to who is in charge behind the scenes. What I mean by that is that the prices over my years of shopping here have steadily increased. Now you might say that this is a charity and so I shouldn't nit-pick about the pricing, but hear me out. Somebody in the back in charge of the pricing must look up prices on eBay and base their tickets on that. Here's the problem with that: just because somebody is asking 30 dollars for a NorthFace jacket on eBay, doesn't mean they're getting it. If you're going to use eBay for your pricing, look under the sold items...oh, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, don't ask such high prices for stained, ripped, or otherwise beaten up items. Good grief, folks! Get a grip on what you're selling and the crowd you're catering to. We are thrifters, not idiots. If we want high prices, we'll go to the mall. I kid you not...a very nice Men's suit jacket, made in Italy...the entire lining was torn to shreds and they were still asking $20.00 for it!!! C'mon! Had it not been shredded I would have considered it. Anyway, I still like to go here on Wednesdays as every now and again I find something I like at a decent price. The other shoppers are pleasant, too, and so is the staff most of the time. It is a true thrift store, so you have to dig and it will be hit or miss. Good luck!

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is housed in what was once the haunt of my youth- the old roller…read morerink. It breaks my heart a little bit every time I go there... but go there I do. You can still get great deals at Salvation Army. They even have sales according to the color of the tags. They've got lots of great vintage and retro stuff, as well as a funky selection of housewears. The store is a little shabby, and could use a good clean, but it's AUTHENTIC. Love it.
