However I was not greeted…read more(which is fine I really don't care about that) as soon as I picked up an item one of the ladies working instantly turned around and starting whispering to the other volunteer clearly speaking about me. You can't greet me but you can whisper about me? I could hear the fist few words then she lowered her voice as I clearly caught her. They proceeded to not say anything to me the whole time I was in the store. On my way out I decided to take it upon myself to ask them about the store and the story behind it. It's a shame to have such rude people working in a store that is supposed to be for a good cause. Edit: as I read other low reviews I'm noticing a common factor. I myself am a woman of tan complexion with piercings and tattoos. Profiling and racism is very sad thing to experience and an even sadder thing to perpetuate.

I go to the footwear departmen, find some Nike Foam runners size 7, I'm like yooooo my size !!! I'm hyped !! I ask the lady, "how much are these" she says "it's at the bottom of the shoe" I said "yeah but I can't understand the writing" she says "It's an 8 so they are 8" I said"okay" She then says "we are about close in 10 minutes so you need to go pay" i said "ok" Paid left the store went to my car sprayed my shoes with disinfectant mind you the shoes were probably worn twice were in good conditio. My event ended around 9:10ish I'm walking to my car and i pass two ladies sitting on a curb I guess waiting for their ride or something, it was the cashier and blond lady from the store!!! Blond lady goes "haha wow look she's wearing the shoes already hahaha wow that's nasty" They both just start laughing at me Making fun of me. I get to my car and was in disbelief on how these two women thought it was ok to laugh at someone like that. It took me 20 minutes to leave the parking area because of how shook I was sad part is that I'm Hispanic and they were both Hispanic...it be your own people sometimes..they are bullies!

This review is based on the drop off area at the Goodwill store location in the Hammocks. I always…read morego to drop off clothes and all the things that I have at home that I don't use anymore at this location. When I go, i park right in front of the skidding doors where I leave the stuff. There's always a nice guy giving me a receipt for the things that I just gave for donation. I don't have to sort them, they sort the things and then they sell them in the store. There's a goodwill store next to it but I have never been in there if I ever go I'll let you know. Unfortunately, you have to dig through clothing to find sizes as they are all mixed together, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to shop. To me, the prices seemed very fair. I purchased 5 shirts and only paid $20 with one shirt being Vince Camuto and 4 shirts brand new with tags. I didn't necessarily find anything valuable at a good deal so I wouldn't come here as an avid thrifter looking for treasure, but I would definitely come again for affordable fashion in great condition.
