I don't understand how you get something for free and put it at this price point. This is the worst experience I've ever had making donations. First off, I make sure everything I donate is in working order and clean other than maybe some dust that's collected on it. I do my best to only donate things that actually have value and can be resold. I had two vehicle loads worth of stuff to drop off today and I'm glad that is done. The second I pulled up a "nice" employee by the name of Yolanda approached my vehicle and upon seeing my first load she said she wouldn't be accepting most of what was in there. This was surprising since most of it was in containers and there was very little she could see. She scrutinized everything that I took out of the vehicle while watching me unload. Multiple times she said "We won't take that" I would ask why and then she'd ask "what is it?". I would explain and she would end up taking it. The only thing that she didn't accept in the first load was a shower chair, a snorkel and mask, and a plastic set of drawers. She did manage to chastise me on the things that weren't in boxes and told me next time everything had to be in a box or container. Off to get my second load. This time I made sure everything was in a box. She rushed out to my car and told me I couldn't park where I did, so I moved 5 feet and apparently that was ok. She again was waiting for me to open the back of my SUV. She sighed when she saw it was packed and everything was boxed up. I unloaded everything and the second I put the first box down she was digging through it. This time the only thing she wouldn't take was an air purifier. I told her it was fairly expensive and again she asked "what is it?" I explained and she still said no. I understand some things of value are not allowed to be resold due to company policy, law, or whatever, and I don't have any issue with that. I also realize these employees are working for a charity and non-profit and probably aren't making a lot of money. I can appreciate that, but at the same time I expect to be with a little bit of respect. Yolanda was a very unhappy woman that did not appear to enjoy her job and I was the lucky one that got to deal with her. I will continue to donate what I can, but I won't be doing it at this location. read more

Prices are very unreasonable. I can't believe I went yesterday to look around and I found an used dog bed for $49.99, at this point I just go to Ross and buy a new one for $24.99. Funny prices and I don't know how they're still in business read more

I really like this location. It is pretty organized and the selection of clothes seem very clean and are color coordinated (which i really appreciate) I have found some great dresses here. The only reason i did not do a 5 star review is because the variety of other items is lackluster. I wish they would have more furniture items which is not the stores fault or anything, I just wish this one was an "all in one" thrift store. But if you are looking for an organized and big variety of women's clothes I recommend this location. At times I have found designer handbags as well. read more

Goodwill should be ashamed. They get items for free but charge $30 for used jeans.

Tons of clothes and furniture but not a lot of other items such as vases/candlesticks etc.

It is mostly well organized, I'll give them that. But some of their item are just ridiculously over priced. Like the dated wedding dresses that at best could be chopped up and re-dyed for cosplays are priced closer to $50-$80. They just generally have too many things with specific individual prices instead of the standard tag-less pricing that follows what's on the signs. read more

So much of what they have could be bought at the dollar store brand new and they're charging used for $5. We donate our things for free and in return you are not getting a good deal you're getting things used at new cost. This store is even more pricey than the others. The profit must be huge!! The Goodwill facility at 29140 Highway 290, Cypress, TX advertises to be open 9 t0 9 on Monday through Saturday, but they will accept no donations after around 3 PM. The facility is still open but they will accept no donations saying they need time to organize the day's donations. My wife has been there the last two days (Friday and Saturday) and they turned her away and refused to accept the donations. My rating is 0 stars. If you do not want to be in business, get out and quit frustrating your benefactors. Pathetic!! read more

Very organized store with lots of variety. On the small side, but still lots of things to look through! Come closing time beware of the Sharks...ermmm, the staff, they make announcements every 5 minutes at 15 till closing and then literally chase you to the registers or out the door! This Goodwill store used to be great at taking items but all of a sudden they are employing people who are rude as heck and question every single thing that is donated. The acceptable Items lists says that usable furniture is accepted yet when we tried to donate a $700 crib, the rude guys working the donation center flipped out. The acceptable items list says no to car seats and booster seats, nothing whatsoever about a crib that I would consider "usable furniture". This is the last time I donate to this crappy store with rude service. We will take our belongings to someone who is in need since Goodwill is being ridiculous on what they take now. read more

I visited this establishment when I came into town for medical treatment. I stay with my father since he lives down this way when I come. I always like to find a deal and I loved coming into this Goodwill. I did not find a lot, but what I did like was the cleanliness and organization of this store. Never any baskets poor selection at times and WAY TOO CROWDED! The crowding issue may not be their fault but it does create a safety and ADA issue for disabled folks like myself who can't get around good. Parking can be scarce too. read more

This should be zero stars They are happy To take your donations but they are not there to help you if you need help after your children run out of your apartment in their underwear because the apartment is on fire. I called the store and the main office and they both said to call someone else they can not give back to those who have donated Please find another place to donate to that will be there for you when you or your children are in their underwear and need a shirt and pants read more

We have made truck loads of donations to Goodwill both at this location and the one off 529. We will no longer be donating to Goodwill due to the treatment we received by one of the employees. She was just downright rude and mean in her tone and body language and I ended up leaving in tears. If that's how you treat the people making donations I don't know how you can expect to stay in business. We'll be taking our donations elsewhere. I called to speak to management and no one would answer the phone. Just all around terrible. And no excuse for it. That's not how you treat people. Goodwill of all places should know that. read more

I do not even know where to start. 0 stars would be generous. I have never been treated so poorly at any place I have ever visited. There are some good employees there but the location could use a complete overhaul on most of the personnel. This location is NOT closed. They are open and doing business. Relatively clean and orderly inside and the staff are friendly.
