First time dog owner and goodvets is such a great place to start. Very informative affordable and super friendly.

I have been bringing my dog Rolly to this clinic since he was 2 months old. Every month, I purchased what I was told was Simparica Trio for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. I trusted the clinic and followed the prevention plan exactly as instructed. Throughout every visit, I consistently felt pressured into unnecessary tests and procedures for a completely healthy puppy. Multiple times, additional charges and tests were added to the bill without proper explanation until I questioned the total and asked for them to be removed. Today, I came in only for the Bordetella vaccine and to pick up my dog's monthly Simparica Trio. I specifically asked not to be charged for a consultation since my dog has no symptoms, no health concerns, and only needed the vaccine and medication refill. At that point, I was informed that my dog had apparently only been receiving regular Simparica for the last couple of months -- NOT Simparica Trio -- despite the fact that I repeatedly requested and believed I was purchasing Simparica Trio the entire time. This is extremely serious because heartworm prevention requires continuous monthly protection. Nobody informed me there had been a change in medication, and now I am suddenly being told my dog needs a heartworm test before receiving the proper prevention again. I find this lack of communication unacceptable and deeply irresponsible. Pet owners trust veterinary clinics to clearly explain medications and ensure continuity of preventive care. If there was any change in what my dog was receiving, I should have been explicitly informed immediately -- not months later. I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency, the constant pressure for additional procedures, and the poor communication regarding my dog's preventive medication. read more

Wow horrible customer service. I recently lived here and have been calling different vets in the area to get quotes. The original woman I spoke to was very lazy about giving me pricing and didn't sound like she knew much about it. Telling me I had to come in for a visit to even get a quote for vaccinations. After speaking with a supervisor who rudely gave me pricing I said thank you and before I could ask about making an appointment I was hung up on. What horrible customer service. Coming from hospitality this is absolutely not how you treat people asking questions about your business and at that a potential customer with two three pets. I would hope a supervisor would address this but seeing as that's who I spoke to it does not seem like these people are very friendly or caring which is what you look for in a vet. Yuki had her first visit to the Vet at GoodVets Wynwood since we adopted her. Yuki and O'malley had colds so Dr. Barrios and Elvina took good care of them and gave them medicines, eye drops and nose drops. After a week. Yuki and O'mallry was way better and had their vaccines. Dr. Barrios, Elvina and the Front Desk staff were all amazing as always! Goodvets is highly recommended if your looking for a top notch veterinary care. Check it out! read more

AMAZING!! Looking for a new vet/doctor could be stressing, I guarantee you that. What I can also assure you is that choosing this vet office as your next place for your pet, will ease all your concerns and make the whole experience much easier. That was my experience :) The place itself is a new location located at one of the new constructions on NW 29th St in Wynwood. Besides the great service, outstanding care for your pet and excellent communication, there are other great add-ons that are much welcomed, such as validated parking, WiFi and beverages station (water and coffee - I was lucky enough to have sparkling water ). Easy, kind and informative Vet. Got an appointment right away. Super convenient. While this is a franchise, probably private equity driven, it seemed more reasonably priced. Although I always love supporting independent vets and am always impressed and thankful as vet school is more difficult then med school- think of how many systems they need to know. Also this location was VERY clean and calm. The female vet tech (was a Monday) was so sweet, patient and an angel - she has 3 dog rescues and many cats. Bless her heart! read more

I was not focused and forgot to get a copy of my receipt and that has been a problem they have not been able to email it and they were kind of rude about it. So don't forget your receipt. read more

Every visit to this place feels like a calculated attempt to squeeze as much money out of customers as possible. Now it makes sense why they always have last-minute availability -- people don't stay once they realize how predatory their practices are. Last year, I was quoted over $2,000 to pull my dog's tooth -- an outrageous amount that immediately sent me elsewhere. This time, I called a day ahead just to get my dog's anal glands expressed -- a simple, routine service. They found me in their system, confirmed my appointment, and gave me a price range (since "they couldn't quote exactly," fine). They took my dog back to do what they needed to do and all of a sudden since because it had been "over a year," they insisted on a full exam first and suggested prescribing trazodone -- without even asking whether I already had medication for her anxiety (which I did). They also never bothered to ask when my dog last saw a vet. A full veterinary examination for an anal gland expression? That doesn't seem like medical necessity -- it feels like a blatant cash grab designed to trap people once they're already there. This clinic could be extremely convenient, but the business practices are anything but ethical. Their approach feels deceptive, predatory, and completely focused on maximizing charges rather than genuinely caring for pets or their owners. When under their care my dog was getting progressively more sick. And all she ever did was assume every ailment that my dog was demonstrating was from cancer. All they care about is money. Almost killed my dog prescribing the wrong meds and over diagnosing my dog. Turned out my dog just has hypothyroidism stemming from this vet having Her on steroids for far too long. I Switched to Petfolk and my dog suddenly had a huge turn around. Back to acting like her old self. Dr Abraham's kept trying to scare me into all these tests swearing my baby's mass cell tumor had spread to other places...whole time it was her thyroid gland..a simple fix. She also told me that a slight bump on my dogs hip was "probably cancer" and it was actually inflammation from arthritis. I honestly think dr Abraham's is either a hypochondriac or money hungry I don't know which atp. But I cannot believe I ever trusted these ppl. And the things this office did to avoid accountability. I almost had to call the cops on them to release my own dogs records from appointments that I PAID for. This time last year under their care I didn't think my dog would make it. Once I switched to Petfolk ALONG WITH KINGDOM OF BASIL holistic Chinese medicine my dog started thriving again. Now she's back to playing tug of war! I initially chose this clinic after seeing their free new patient visit offer and reading so many glowing reviews--and they truly lived up to the hype! The staff here are exceptional--friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Over the course of three separate visits for my cats' checkups and ear cleanings, I was consistently impressed by the high level of service. Our experience was great, our cat was super scared and peed in the carrier on the way there the nurse Lizzie took care of her, bathed her with a waterless solution, cut her nails and gave her treats. The manager and front desk staff is so unprofessional and disrespectful that I literally am still in shock. The last thing any parent of a terminally ill dog needs is the run around, attitude, condescending remarks, being cut off when you speak, zero accountability even when the office is very clearly at fault... it's been a literal nightmare. Like I couldn't even make up the things they did and said today. All of which was due to the mistakes or miscommunication of the front desk and rather than be accountable they'll break their elbow reaching for a way for it to be your fault! When they're supposed to be the professionals. A simple "I'm sorry you're completely right we gave you incorrect info and therefore plet you down and we'll never let it happen again" would have gone a long way but instead they argued why I should have known they didn't mean what they said and/or been ok with the woman on the phone giving me incorrect info. Insane times we're living in when you can give ppl thousands of dollars in 6 months and they can't take full accountability when they mess up and give you incorrect info. I wouldn't recommend this location due to these issues alone. read more
