GROGU at Town and Country animal hospital

Town and country animal hospital is great for my Grogu and nurse Frida wonderful and caring with my pet and she attended all of the needs for Grogu And love the way she handles my pet. Thank you for been so professional and I would also recommend the wellness plan is the best one I had from other pet hospitals. Thank FRIDA and T&C animal hospital !!

VEG ER is the best place to take your pet in need of an emergency. All the staff are very tentative and friendly. Everything is explained in detail. If your pet needs surgery you are allowed to view the surgery from a window and if you want to spend the night with your pet after the surgery they have rooms for you to sleep next to your pet in private. They call you numerous times during the day to keep you informed. Remember our pets did not choose us we chose them and with that comes a huge responsibility to get them the care they need at just about what ever cost is deemed. My dog swallowed several socks and or wash cloth. He would have died but adhering to my responsibility and choosing this animal hospital with its incredible staff he was saved and he is recuperating at home. It was a very long stressful week but it all worked out for the best. THANK YOU VEG ER STAFF

I had a terrifying emergency with my guinea pig Winnie and rushed her to this ER late at night. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the level of compassion, communication, and care provided by the entire team. Despite multiple emergencies coming in at once, the staff remained calm, organized, and incredibly kind. I never once felt forgotten or unattended. I was kept in the loop at every stage -- I even got to watch her X-ray through a window, which I've never experienced at any other vet. Their level of transparency and trust was so comforting during such a high-stress moment. Dr. Tool is a wonderful vet -- patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly gentle. Anthony (Antonio), the primary tech who took care of Winnie, was calm, lighthearted, and clearly experienced. Desiree, who did my intake, was so sweet and reassuring. Romina, thank you also for your attention. I didn't catch everyone's names, but every single tech interacted with me, checked on me, and made me feel supported. I was even offered beverages, snacks, and two blankets while I waited. It was a 40-minute drive for me, but I would make that drive again in a heartbeat for this level of care. I am so grateful for everything they did for us. They treated Winnie like she mattered -- and that meant everything to me.

This is the best ER that I have ever been too. They are just amazing the service the attention is the very best. We love our baby and she is our world and they treated her a princess. I will be coming here whenever I need too. I highly highly recommend this ER don't go anywhere else come her. Dr. OMAR was a the best and the whole staff.

Above expectations! It's definitely clean... the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable...they're in great mood and they work very well together... I was definitely comfortable having my dog checked out, specially with their open floor plan. I was able to see it all and make eye contact with my dog. I know it was very reassuring for my chihuahua! Loved it

The staff came across as cold and completely disengaged. No eye contact, no sense of urgency, no empathy. In an emergency setting, that's the bare minimum, and it just wasn't there. What shocked me most was the lack of any immediate assessment. My dog was struggling, and instead of a quick triage or even basic reassurance, we were left waiting with zero direction. It felt like nobody cared. After waiting far too long, I left and went to VEG ER for Pets, and the difference was night and day. They were attentive, responsive, and actually treated the situation like an emergency. Miami Veterinary Specialists needs to seriously rethink how they handle patients and owners the moment they walk in. Because right now, they're failing at the most critical part: first contact. At this rate, they'll lose people before a doctor ever even gets involved.

If there was an ambulance for dogs I would have called it. I have a German Shepherd so a big dog who is, honestly, hard to handle. He was in extreme pain, crying, barking, bleeding everywhere, restless, and they took more than 30 minutes to attend him. I was furious, I felt like an eternity! They were so worried about papers that my dog was bleeding out! I understand you need consents and you are extremely worried about getting paid, but find a FASTER more effective way! Doctor Hernandez was extremely professional and helpful he understood how worried we were. He explained the procedure and took pictures of before and after the wound. And kept giving us updates. As well as the assistants, very helpful. DAY 2: Now here is why I might never bring my dog here again. I got an APPOINTMENT for 8:00pm. I was there on time and they "paged" for a bandage change. A simple bandage change took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get done. They had me wait for all that time just because no reason. My dog was even worst this time, he remembered the place and he didn't want to be there. He was restless, barking, going crazy, drooling, pleading for us to take him home. It was such a frustrating and horrible experience. Again I can't deny that they are probably the most knowledgeable veterinarians I have ever been to, but the lack of understanding of how time sensitive the situations they have to handle are take away their stars. The place is clean and extremely organized. And 24hrs very convenient. But you are paying for all that, the place deserves $$-$$$.

Unfortunately, my experience with their medical care has been incredibly disappointing. I brought my cat in for a nail injury and spent approximately $500-700 on the initial visit. After diagnostic testing, I was sent home with a wound-cleaning solution to apply myself (the wound was not cleaned at the hospital) and antibiotics. The antibiotics worked while he was taking them, but once they were finished, the infection returned. A couple of months later, I returned for the exact same issue. I spent another $700 on additional testing and was again sent home with antibiotics. Once again, the antibiotics improved the infection temporarily, but after they ended, the problem came back. What has been most frustrating is feeling like each visit focused on treating the symptoms rather than identifying and resolving the underlying cause. It feels like they patch it up with a temporary solution that forces you to keep coming back instead of fixing the actual problem. I've never been to a place so inconsiderate of people's time, money, and emotional investment. I've spent around $1,400 for what has essentially been a Band-Aid, and my cat is still dealing with the same problem

Nina had experienced a frightening episode where she became stiff, had difficulty walking and was breathing heavily. I was extremely scared and worried about my dog. After they took Nina inside, I waited for someone to update me about her condition. No one was coming out. I eventually had to knock on the door myself to ask how my dog was doing. When Dr. Alejandro de La Paz came out, he did not introduce himself. The conversation quickly became about the different laboratory tests and X-rays Nina needed. I understand completely that diagnostic testing can be necessary. My issue is not simply that tests were recommended. It was the lack of communication and compassion surrounding the entire experience. Tell me what you are concerned about. Explain what you are trying to rule out. Tell me why you recommend each test. Most importantly, tell me how my dog is doing. I am sitting there frightened because my dog is behind those doors. Instead, my experience felt like test after test and payment after payment. I ultimately paid more than $1,300 for Nina's visit. I have no problem paying for appropriate medical care for my dog. Nina is family to me. But along with that bill, I expect communication, compassion and professionalism. Nina also has excellent Trupanion pet insurance, which I understood this hospital works with. Yet Natalie, who was working at the front desk, seemed unfamiliar with how the insurance worked. But the part that concerned me the most happened with the paperwork: I WAS GIVEN LABORATORY RESULTS BELONGING TO ANOTHER PET. I still have the paperwork. I will NOT post the other pet owner's medical information publicly because that person did nothing wrong and deserves privacy. Instead, I am providing copies privately to the owners of the hospital so they can investigate exactly how this happened. I understand that veterinary records generally are not covered by HIPAA in the same manner as human medical records. But receiving another pet's laboratory results raises a very serious question for me: If I received someone else's pet's medical records, could somebody else receive Nina's? I have asked the owners to investigate this and confirm that Nina's laboratory results, X-rays, medications and medical records from this visit actually belong to Nina. What bothered me most about this experience was how little humanity and compassion I felt during an already frightening situation. Veterinary medicine is a business, but the animals walking through those doors are somebody's family. When someone is frightened about their pet, communication matters. Compassion matters. Professionalism matters. Accurate medical records matter. I am sharing my experience because other pet owners deserve to know what happened, and I sincerely hope the owners take this seriously and address these issues so another family does not have the same experience.
