We were in Lima for a cross country meet. After we "dined" at, naturally, Kewpee's, I, naturally,…read moresearched yelp for "arcade." Cartridge Gaming was a fantastic and unexpected find. This business started out by selling old and used cartridges for almost every (major) gaming console ever made. The owner has an enormous, almost unbelievable, selection of games you played, games you wish you had played, and some games that you've probably never heard of. What a trip down memory lane. Yeah, the owner had a nice little business selling game an outstanding variety of game console cartridges...and then he got bit by the pinball bug. So, in his store, he has 24 pinball machines, three cabaret style machines (Galaga, Centipede, Ms.Pac Man), two multigame machines (an iCade 60 gamer, and another that features about 100? vertical scrolling Japanese "maniac shooters..." if those are your thing. There's a Crazy Taxi game, too). The pins range in price from 12.5 cents per play (two credits for a quarter, arithmetic wiz), to a buck per play. Here's the key...every game that I played was in good or excellent condition! What an cool variety of games, he has. Newest game? Jurassic Park (2019) by Stern. Flagship game? Dialed In (2017) Limited Edition by Jersey Jack; that's a $9000 dollar machine. Mike P's favorite game? FirePower (1980) by Williams...25 cents per play...just like the machine at Little Cesar's Pizza on Suder Avenue...back in 1980. For an added bonus, ask him to see the collection of video game consoles and microcomputer stuff that he has in his back room. Another trip down memory lane. When in Lima, stop by...after Kewpee's.

DJ Neeley did a great job at my wedding! He had people on the dance floor all night long! I loved…read morethe lighting that he had around the room. The up lighting was amazing and the lighting on the dance floor was perfect. I didn't want anything to flashy/pulsing for the dance floor lighting and he was able to do exactly what I was looking with that lighting. I also loved the custom monogram that he had reflected on the dance floor. And he was so helpful before the wedding too. He kept the reception flowing very nicely. He never rushed us to do anything but made sure everything got done in a timely manner so guests weren't complaining. He was very flexible when we changed our reception entrance song two days before the wedding. DJ Neeley was great to work with.

The selection of food items is pretty good but the cost of them is ridiculous as well. I went in on a Tuesday evening to catch a movie with my friend and that place was a mess. The lobby area had popcorn all over the ground, there was one worker to check people out for movie tickets and concessions, and once I got into the actual theater for the movie I noticed how run down things have started to look. The chair I sat in was a little ripped up, the cup holder was gross, and the floors were covered in all sorts of food litter. I used to stop in here about 6 times a year, now I limit it to maybe once a year because it's just not great. Go buy the movie when it comes out and watch it at home with your friends. It'd be cheaper and cleaner (depending on who you are).

Drew handled the lighting (uplighting and water effect) for our August wedding, and I would highly…read morerecommend him for anyone looking for lighting for their reception space. First, Drew was easy to communicate with (both via phone and email), which was awesome considering that my wife and I were getting married in Ohio and neither of us live in the state. Communicating with vendors from "long distance" can be a pain, but Drew made it painless and simple to get the lighting we wanted and arrange for the set up and tear down. He would always promptly respond (same day, many times within the hour) to any messages (email or phone) that I sent him. Second, Drew was willing to travel a long distance to handle our lighting (he is based in Lima, and our wedding was in Oxford, more than 2 hours away), which really meant a lot to my wife. We didn't look into lighting until about a month before our wedding, and we didn't even realize where Drew was based until near the wedding day. Most vendors won't travel long distance to handle anything, and we were especially impressed since Drew was also DJ'ing a wedding the same weekend he handled our lighting. Next, Drew made setting up the lighting a breeze. The day before our wedding, Drew patiently worked with my wife to pick out the colors she wanted, and more importantly, spent about 35 minutes trying to find the best spot in the room to place the "water effect" lighting. We finally found a great place for it after trying about 10 different spots, and Drew patiently worked with us throughout the entire set up process to come up with an awesome final product. And last but not least, the final product was simply awesome. Drew's lighting that he expertly set up made the room simply stunning, and the manager of the reception venue even asked for our photos with the room fully lit to use in promotional materials. Having worked with about 10 different vendors for our wedding, I can safely say that Drew was one of the best. His flexibility, communication skills, and hard work in getting our reception space set up just the way my wife and I wanted made our wedding day just how we imagined. Don't think twice about booking Drew for lighting - just do it and you won't be disappointed!
