I was taken aback to find out that everything they do is by appointment only, so I scheduled my first appointment for an inspection. They took me right on time and let me know that my car needed some adjustments, for which they scheduled me for within 2 days and drove me back and forth to home while the car was being serviced. Now, after 3 different appointments (for other work) I feel that yes indeed I can recommend this business. Everyone there is very professional and knowledgeable, especially the lady in the office. They were going to install a new alternator in my vehicle and advised that they would let me know if I needed a new tensioner once they inspected it. After inspection they said a new tensioner was needed and it would be 3 hours labor for a total of $576. I called 2 other places (including a dealer) and they both said if you are replacing the alternator there really was no additional labor to replace the tensioner pulley as it only has 2 bolts. I actually called Macs back and discussed this with them and they wouldn't budge off their price. Long story short I took it to another shop (pretty big outfit) and saved $475 (This was the Troy Location)
