Have used for state inspection and other corrective and preventive maintenance. Have enough experience with each other that they know I like to do what I can myself. The service manager gives me options. Their preventive maintenance suggestions ar5e clear, but on the conservative side, that is to say that they will follow repair industry standards in suggesting service intervals. i don't know much about cars, so my word is worth precisely what you paid for it. i brought my vehicle in for inspection today, based on the other stellar reviews here on yelp. i can only echo what others had to say. i spoke with a gentleman named Kevin who was delightfully kind, respectful, and helpful. my car needed a bit of work -- 2 new tires, some repair work to the parking brake, new brake lights, and something or other involving my center mount -- but even with the work that needed to be done, i dropped my car off around 9:30 in the morning and had it back by 3 o'clock. their pricing was very fair and i received quite a detailed report. i have another vehicle which i need to get legal. once i get a license plate and registration on that puppy, Good's will be my first stop to get it inspected and legal. i live in Lancaster proper, but have no problem taking my cars out to Lititz if it means i can be treated to the excellent customer service & quick yet thorough & skillful work i experienced with Good's! thanks, guys! :-) another satisfied customer over here! read more

I started going to Good's a few years ago. I only have good things to say. I have to agree with other reviews. Very curious and thoughtful. Easy to schedule appointments. I definitely like the reports. Not only are they thorough, but if possible they give you options on how to remedy the issue. And particularly impressive to me as a woman, they don't talk down to me or assume I know nothing about cars which is nice because I actually do know some). They also send out reminder and coupons for regular services such as oil change, tune-ups, and inspection. read more

Called Good's Auto Service and spoke with Brian. I let him know what code is coming up on our Prius (P261B), but that it is intermittent (check engine light goes on for a day than off for a few weeks), knew that the code is a water pump code, and a water pump either works or doesn't so I thought it may be the sensor or just needs coolant flushed. Was told by Brian that just to check the code would be $125! This is AFTER I told him we already know the code. Thanked him for his time and hung up. read more

Amazing business! Barbra was very nice and so easy to talk to. We came in for an oil change and were not pressured or guilted in to anything. Quite a change from the service we have in NYC. They did a courtesy inspection while changing the oil and informed us of a few things we might need to take care of I the near future but no pressure. Great service! I was looking for a mechanic close to my work that would make getting my car serviced more convenient. I found Good's Auto Service online and the reviews looked pretty good, so I decided to give them a shot. I liked that I was able to request an appointment online and received an email to confirm it. I took my car in to get a wheel stud replaced along with a state inspection. They were able to re-thread the stud instead, which saved me money. My car passed inspection and the cost was very reasonable. The service manager was very friendly and walked through the results of my inspection including some recommended services to be performed in the near future. The printouts/paperwork they gave me with the results included everything they outlined and was very detailed. Overall I would say that they are honest, friendly, professional, and fair.
