He contacted multiple dentists, including the one that our family had been seeing for years. The only dentist that was able/willing to see him during the weekend was Dr. Brian Carey. Dr. Carey spent several hours with my son, taking care of his dental needs, providing him with x-rays, prescriptions and follow up care. Because it was the weekend, none of his staff were available - Dr. Carey did all the work on his own. Since then, our entire family has moved to Dr. Carey's office for dental care. He ALWAYS explains what is going on, spends a great deal of time with each of us to ensure that our questions are answered. He has also worked with my other adult children when they have not had dental coverage to assist in making the best dental care decisions that fit their wallet. HE IS A GENUINE, NICE GUY WHO CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS! The staff is friendly and know our names whenever we come in. Insurance and billing questions are explained clearly and openly. I have not met anyone in that office will not take time with a patient. I wish that ALL health care professionals were this good.

I did not have/had very limited access to healthcare. I also just moved across the country and had no medical records to forward to them. When I called in, I was super embarrassed because it had been several years since I went to the dentist (I could've gone more because of my fear of needles). They did a great job of welcoming me and understanding that I now am taking steps for better dental hygiene. My first appointment was a consultation and scans of my teeth. Dr. Manchester was nice and very informative. He answered every question I had confidently and also gave me options for numbing during fillings since I have a fear of needles. The next week, I had a fun Cleaning with their hygienist. (Let me just add that they text to confirm appointments and they call you for any sooner openings they have, talk about great customer service!) Yesterday, I had an appointment for a filling. They asked me how I was doing and feeling about needles and when I expressed I was in a good head space, we got to working! Dr. Manchester took great care of me and checked in regularly to see if I was doing alright. For example, I have not been believed by previous dentists when I said Novocain doesn't numb me. They then gave me far too many injections in an attempt to numb me and I spent the rest of the day vomiting because of the over dose of medication that didn't work. Then they proceeded to drill into my face when I could feel it. I have had them ask me to try to be more quiet because my screams of pain were scaring people in the lobby. Needless to say, these types of incidents have left me terrified of going to the dentist. However, knowing that I have to have proper dental care, I began the internet review search to find someone local that I might be able to trust. Dr. Calhoun and the staff of this practice made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. They took their time and truly heard my concerns. They were kind, caring, and professional. I chose Dr. Pacheco and I am so glad I did. Dr. Pacheco is absolutely wonderful and a great dentist! I have had two old crowns that broke replaced and some other teeth required surfaces covered to strengthen them. Dr. Pacheco did really great work and made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable. Gail, my Dental Hygienist, is very gentle and quick in cleaning my teeth and I like how she will talk to me so we have fun too.
