They told me not to worry too much, they could accept the car same day and would figure out the problem. After their diagnosis, they let me know that the repair was related to a part that Ford has a recall on, so it needed to go to a Ford dealer. No fault of their own. Since the repair couldn't be done at Pioneer, my review is based solely on their customer service, which was wonderful. Tiffany was so helpful and supportive no matter how many times I called. They let me leave the car there for two days while I figured out other arrangements, never pressuring me to get it moved. On Friday, Tiffany even took the initiative to call me and offered a solution to get my car moved over to the nearby Ford dealership, where I had made an appointment. This removed a task from my schedule that I was dreading. I drove by later in the afternoon to pay them the diagnostic fee (which they even discounted for me!) and double check that my car had made it safely over to the nearby Ford dealer. Everything was taken care of, Pioneer made my day a whole lot easier. If their repair service is half as good as their customer service, then this place is an easy recommend! My Mercedes had an ongoing problem of eating Drive Belts. I spent a lot of money replacing it twice…read moreby two different repair shops, along with idler pulleys and a power steering pump. When the belt started squeaking again, I was told I needed to replace the alternator. I was lucky enough walk into South Street Auto Repair. They diagnosed an oil leak was causing the squeak (not the alternator LOL). Drake stayed in touch with me daily, as they walked me through different diagnostics, repairs and costs. They fixed my squeaky belt, oil leaks, manifold leak and failed ignition coil. Brian my mechanic was very cleanly working on my car and paid attention to every detail. Finally, my exhaust is quiet, my belt is not squeaking and a slight engine hesitation that has been on going is resolved. I can't say enough good about this repair facility. I would have saved a lot of time and money if they were the first shop I would have been my first repair shop!!!
