Oh my goodness, talk about above and beyond! Kesha and Glenn are just angels. I live in California and needed my Mom moved out of her home by the end of the month. They handled everything on the ground on my behalf, from working with the nursing home staff, going to a storage unit I had remotely selected and were nice enough to mail me the key, documenting everything with pictures along the way for me. These guys were incredible. They had a very difficult job to do, moving my dad's 400 lb medical equipment up 7ft of stairs, among a boat load of other items in the pouring rain. Moving SUCKS! I am so grateful to have found Glen & Kesha to help with my large/heavy items. They were efficient and extra careful with my belongings - and even more so when moving the items near walls and light fixtures (on the stairway). I came across The GoodFellows profile on Yelp after searching all week, with many movers booked or way too expensive. Their rates are reasonable and they were willing to book me on super short notice. If you're in the Tampa Bay area and in need of movers you can trust, I HIGHLY recommend Glen and his crew. They are absolutely scammers. They are supposed to show at my places but then said the truck was still occupied then the next morning never showed. I paid them a deposit too and never got my deposit back. DO NOT GIVE them money. They are awful people and don't keep their word. If I could give them negative starts I 100% would. read more

I contacted Glen from GoodFellows to help my elderly parents unload two PODs at their new home. The cost was $85/hour for 2 men or $100/hour for 3. I scheduled for 3 men so the job would go faster. Glen showed up on time, but the two other men were nearly an hour late. After the POD was unloaded, two men stood around while one man "helped" my sister build a shelving unit in the garage for an additional half hour. Glen then charged my elderly father the full amount of $100/hour for the 3 men despite only 1 being there for nearly an hour, and two of them standing around for another half hour doing nothing. When I contacted Glen on Yelp to figure out why the price wasn't adjusted, he finally acknowledged the mistake and promised to pass by my parents house to repay the overage which was nearly $50. A week later, he still had not repaid my parents so I contacted him again. This time he said the "check is in the mail". After two weeks of my parents not receiving anything, I contacted Glen again, and he has completely stopped responding to me. I thought he was going to make everything right, and instead I just feel like he took advantage of my elderly parents at their time of need. Buyer beware. read more

I needed a moving company to move a lot of excess furniture and things I wouldn't be needing for a while into a storage. I went the usual route, and asked my Community for recommendations. I didn't much response from that, so I went on Yelp for local movers. I got about 5 quotes, and GoodFellows Moving and Hauling we're the most reasonably priced, & the reviews were all positive. After calling and speaking with Glen, the owner, I felt comfortable booking with them. They are a small business, which is a double bonus, because I always prefer to buy local and support our Community. Especially now, when they need our support even more. They arrived as expected, were very nice as well as professional. They got right to it, were fast, but careful with my things. I was not as organized or prepared as I'd hoped to be, but they easily loaded up the truck in an organized way, and quickly unloaded it into my unit. I don't post many reviews, unless I get exceptional service - good or bad. But, they deserve your support & I wanted to share for other people in need of a reputable mover. I'm so pleased with their service, that I will be using them in my upcoming move to Tampa. Thank you to Glen, Keisha, & Jeff for all your hard work, & taking the stress out of this move. I was planning a short move from two homes which are approximately 8 miles apart. I chose GoodFellows because of their competitive pricing and was satisficed with the the reviews. My move would be considered a very small-medium move. Maybe what equates to a 2-3 bedroom home (not the full home, but only large items and a small number of boxes. In short I wasn't completely satisfied with the service they provided. The cost was $95/Hr for two movers. The only wrapping provided was shrink wrap, no moving pads to protect the edges of any of the furniture, I didn't find this out until they were onsite. Also another issue for me was the $150 cost of the rental truck which I was informed of the day before. Other companies do charge for fuel but it seems I paid for rental and the fuel. I could have easily rented the truck locally for approx. $50 -$60 and hired two movers/labors and probably would have came out better. Considering the amount of furniture to be moved, my estimation of time for completing the move was 3-4.5Hrs (remember just large items.) Total time was closer to 6Hrs. I will not be using this company again and would suggest they do full disclosure when responding to potential clients (not just state the cheapest price and inform the customer of other cost later). read more
