The Poutine (Php 156.00) was disappointing because its taste and serving size isn't what we expected. It was too small - it looked like it was rushed and the fries doesn't have it's usual crisp - the "cheese curds" part of the Poutine wasn't melted at all and their gravy doesn't do much. Another item that disappointed me was their Cheesecake Milkshake (Php 136.00) because I was able to try their other milkshakes and there was no difference - only its presentation - and I was not able to taste even a hint of cheesecake - only by its presentation was I able to figure out it was a cheesecake milkshake. Overall the experience at Diner on 16th was just okay. It's a place that people should visit and get to try when they are within the area. The pastel colored walls and red cushioned seats were a really nice touch. I also really found the posters and signs on the wall to be really cool. The house beer, the Mathilde California Common, is a standout novelty as it's the only Steam Beer in the Philippines. Take note that tippling in Mathilde is not for the light of wallet as this place is rather pricey. Still, if you have a bit of money on you, do give this place a whirl.
