It wasn't the most cost effective to continue to keep fixing a car this old so I decided it was time for a new one. With the current state of the pandemic and supply chain issues getting a new car or an affordable used car isn't as easy as it has been in the past. I called several dealers and the only option was to order a new car and have it built. I wasn't sure if my present car could make it 2-3+ more months for a custom car to arrive so i was hoping for another option. My aunt suggested I call Kara at Della Subaru in Plattsburgh, I am glad I did! I was able to get in touch with her quickly. Kara was extremely helpful, responsive and understanding of my situation. This dealership was getting quite a few cars in within the next few weeks. She was very patient and thorough in explaining the options of what was coming, helped to answer all my questions and assisted me secure my choice with a down payment. Kara offered all the options, bells and whistles that were available but didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want. It was very easy to work with her over the phone, email and text since I am about 5 hours from her dealership. She kept me up to date on what was happening throughout the process. Picking up the car was a breeze. I was able to test drive it before I finalized the purchase. I was told before I came down that if for some reason I wasn't happy I could get a refund on my deposit and I wasn't tied to this car in any way. This gave me a great piece of mind. I worked with Jenn to do all the financials. She was also patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this dealership, and working with Kara and Jenn. If you need a car and are willing to take a drive call and check their inventory.

I came here today just to replace the windshield wiper, but was treated rudely and unreasonably by the staff of BMW WEST ISLAND, and even discriminated against! This is not allowed by national laws. Please note that his name is Mathieu Garcia and his position is Parts & Accessories Specialist. The cause of the incident was that my wife did not know the year of her car and could not quickly cooperate with the employee to find the corresponding accessories. But we were sincere and drove the car into their workshop. He only needs to look at it to determine the model. Maybe he feels this wasted his time, right? ! After I asked whether I could help with checking, his attitude was extremely bad, and at the same time he provoked my wife and me with insulting expressions and language. In response, I seriously pointed out his work mistakes and wrong attitude, and asked him to apologize. He responded very unreasonably. He said I was yelling at him and asking us to Get OUT! Attention everyone, this BMW employee is asking his customer to GET OUT! ? Then, what is even more ridiculous is that he used discriminatory abuse and yelling at us, asking me why I can't speak French or do not communicate in French? Yes, I speak English, is this wrong? Speaking English will become the reason why your employees do not provide reasonable after-sales service to me? Or, does BMW WEST ISLAND only sell cars to French-speaking customers? That's ridiculous... I also want to tell you that my wife, her French is very good, and after seeing Mathieu's malicious treatment of us, she made a recording. We will go to BMW CA and CDPDJ QC to complain.about this discrimination. Just to get a reasonable apology.
