VERY BAD DEALER: I had a very bad experience with Toyota Gabriel: I sold them my old car and bought…read morea new car. When i sold them my car they said "you can keep the winter tires because you can use them on the new car". So, I deposited those tires at their depot and paid for the service. When I went to install my tires on the new car : they made a mistake and installed new tires (not mine). 2 days after they called me saying they did not install my own tires, they installed new tires. Then they started asking me about an unpaid balance and I never purchased those tires. Then, I called and took a new appointment to go give them the new tires and install my own tires. They said those old tires are not compatible with the new car. Apparently, they don't know what they are doing. They are scrued and trying to scrue the client. And the most important thing is that they are not correcting their mistakes and they are not assuming any responsibility of their mistakes. The client should take time off during their very short operation hours to go fix their mistakes and nothing was done at their end. And they followed me with emails about unpaid balance. They even refused to pay the fees if i go to another dealer that is closer and save time off my work. They sent me an email saying I told them I am buying new tires and i never did so. Very bad experience I never go there again.

Subaru - My 2014 Crosstrek purchased used from Subaru Montreal in the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park, TX just north of the Mexican border

I bought my first car (a 2014 base model Crosstrek) from this dealership a year ago, and the folks…read moreat Subaru Montreal, particularly the salesperson Ilan Rubier and the finance woman Lucie, made it an easy, and even fun experience. I came to Subaru Montreal well-researched on the Crosstrek, and even though I was able to find the car cheaper elsewhere, I wanted to try my hand at this dealership because of the better reviews they had than others. Ilan was honest, knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me at all. I was able to negotiate a good price on an excellent used car, and Subaru Montreal was transparent and forthcoming enough that I was able to know the history of the vehicle and previous owner, and could buy without any real concern. A month later, I embarked on a 19,305 km roadtrip through western Canada, the U.S. (the South, the pacific coast, and mid-west), and even parts of Mexico. The car held up like a dream, and despite driving through rugged mountain scapes, desert, snow, and L.A. traffic, I didn't even have so much as a flat tire. It even served as a comfortable place to sleep with enough space to set up a bed in the back for those rainier/colder nights when camping wouldn't cut it. As others have pointed out, the nature of the car sales business can foster a dishonest and selfish culture (capitalism, amirite?), but the staff at Subaru Montreal have somehow found way to enjoy good sales while being able to sleep easy at night knowing they aren't swindling less auto-savvy customers. I, too, sleep easy knowing where to go for my next car purchase. Thanks, Subaru Montreal!

We came to test drive the car on a beautiful sunny day and were greeted by Socrates who we had spoken to the day before. He was super friendly, helpful and even let our little French Bulldog buddy come along for the test drive. He was quick with communication and in the end, worked with his management team to get us exactly what we needed. On the day when we came to pick up the car, he was there to meet us and introduce us to the rest of the team that would help us get acquainted with the car and get on the road. We worked with Filia who was fantastic, knowledgeable and super helpful. We could not have had a better team to work with and would not hesitate to get our next car here. Bonus, this place is SUPER dog friendly and our little dude felt like a complete rock star getting pets, love and attention...he didn't want to leave!!

It's rare that I give a one star review, this can't be more than the third time, but I was just so…read moresick of the way I was treated at this dealership that I have to write about my experience. I've been interested in the Kia Soul EV for some time, and when I checked Kia's website, they referred me to this dealership for a test drive. I called the dealership and told them which car I was interested in, they told me I could come for a test drive but they wanted me to come in first to have a discussion with a salesman. That should have been my first warning. This all happened on a Saturday afternoon last fall, near closing time. I rushed over to arrive before closing, and when I got there I was told the salesman was busy and I'd have to wait. OK, even though they asked me to come in. I waited for about 30 minutes of nothing. Finally a salesman came out and tried to sell me the regular gas powered Soul. I made it clear that I was willing to hear about it, but the reason I came was specifically to try the electric version. That's when he told me that they didn't have any electric vehicles. I was understandably unimpressed by this waste of my time. I asked to speak with the manager, who told me that they don't have any EVs on stock, but I could make a $500 down payment and order a new Soul EV, which they would build and deliver, at which point I could test drive it when it arrives, and if I'm not satisfied I don't have to finish the purchase. I wouldn't call myself a car sales expert, but this sounded pretty fishy to me. I declined that particular offer, and they tried to convince me that maybe if another customer orders the car, I can come and test drive their car. Also strange. The salesman finally took me out for a 15 minute test drive of the regular gas Soul, so I could see what it was like. He spent 10 minutes in the driver seat telling me about the car, and left me with a grand total of 5 minutes actually driving the car myself. I made it as far as Devonshire and Royalmount, then right back to dealership, 2 KM total. Very (un)helpful. I normally try to bring a balanced perspective into my reviews, and play devil's advocate, but I haven't heard of any positive experiences at this location, and other reviews I've read elsewhere online seem to indicate a pattern. I hope they change their attitude, because they're giving Kia, and car dealerships in general, a really bad name. Then again, most car dealerships probably already have a bad name.

Then this spring I got my tires changed there and they forgot to tighten the front tires well. So here I am driving on the Hwy w my child when I notice my tires are making strange sounds.
