The kids love this place. It has wide open spaces between the equipment so there is plenty of room to run. It is clean and has lots of variety of play equipment. Of course, the favorite is the bounce pillow. The parent experience is another story. I was super annoyed the first time I went to the park, not knowing it was "self-service" and what exactly that means. Imagine two computer kiosks in a tiny entryway, you sit down and try to figure out the login process, enter all your personal info (even though it doesn't store your username/password for next time if you are just paying for one day), meanwhile your toddler is getting anxious seeing all the cool stuff inside. I highly recommend paying from home before you go. Overall, I don't mind the price or that it is unstaffed inside, but could you please consider the customer experience for getting in? Rule of thumb: you shouldn't make it difficult to take people's money (i.e. get a better POS system and have a staff member in the entrance during core hours). Even SnapFitness and those other 24-hour, self-use places have one staff person onsite during core hours. read more

This place is awesome! Pack a lunch because the kids won't want to leave. My 5-year-old is upset when I make her leave after 4 hours. We have a monthly pass, which is $15 and it's a lot cheaper to go that route than to pay each time. I do think they need to figure out a better pricing model as I can see how it would be too expensive for larger families. Since it's on the honor system as far as paying for each child you bring in, I can understand why the first kid costs $8 (I think that's the one time rate), but once you have a code to open the door there's really no way to control how many kids get inside....which is probably why it's $8 a kid and not $2 a kid. This is such a wonderful concept--especially for Minnesota. I love that they have wifi and clean bathrooms and my daughter loves the jumping pillow. We'll probably still use it in the summer because I hate dealing with sunscreen, bugs, and heatwaves. Taking the kids to a movie costs $8 per kid to get in PLUS whatever you buy at the concessions stand and playing video games and that's done after two hours max. This can last all day, the kids usually fall asleep in the car on the way home, and it's good for them. read more

This is a great place for kids 10 & under. Yes kids of all ages are welcome but the majority of patrons are under 10 and it does get a little tough when you have a 12 year old trying to play with a 3 year old. I have a 3 year old and we mostly use the park during the weekday when kids are in school but will also come in the evening to burn off some energy. There are several great things to mention about this park. But I'll just mention my top 3 here... 1)it is huge with a good variety of options for kids to not only exercise but be creative while doing it. 2)it's clean & for the most part the patrons are all good about keeping it that way. Signs are posted everywhere to clean up after yourself, a good skill to teach children. 3)you can bring in your own food & drink! They have vending machines with snacks available but this is one of the few indoor places that still allow "outside food". Drawbacks...the only one I noticed that doesn't apply to me but if you have more than 1 child & they are several years apart it can be difficult to keep them in the same area & the building is kind of divided in 2 by the office/bathrooms making it difficult to keep your eye on your child at all times. A solution would be to have 2 adults so u can split up with the kids but if not an option just know this can be tricky. read more

I brought my 3 year old here while visiting the area for the holidays. They have numerous different areas to intrigue kids of different ages and interests. The bad news, I couldn't keep the 3 year old off the large playground. I really liked the set up, they have a clean your own table policy which is actually followed ( with spray cleaners and everything). Wish my 7 year old would have joined! I had zero problems with my little one getting knocked around by the bigger kids, I plan on going back next visit! read more

Nice indoor play place that provides fun for a wide range of kids -- my 10 year old son even had a blast jumping on the trampoline and playing dodgeball in the court area. It's rare to be able to keep that wide of range of kids happy. Great option for rainy, crazy hot, or snowy day. read more

Great place up until recently. I've been here many times with my two year old. Recently made a trip there and an entire YMCA bus of kids, must have been about 40 of them age 6-8 showed up and took the place over. Two year old got trampled a couple of times so we decided to leave. Since we just arrived 5 mins prior I asked an employee, presumably the owner for a refund. He tried to justify the numbers and go round and round. I told him he can refund me the $11 and I'll come back or he can keep the money and I won't return. He continued to justify the numbers instead of acknowledging the request so i left. If you decide to go make sure to call in advance and make sure they don't have a huge school bus coming. Or do what I'll be doing and go somewhere else. I'm all for the business partnering with youth programs but a group that should be enough to close the place down for a couple hours. But they're a business and profit matters more than anything. read more

The best place to take kids anytime of the year. they are open from 7am to 9pm 365 days a year. Thats right 365 days a year. so when everything is closed on Christmas or Thanksgiving this place is not. So if your kids need to get out and run and it is negative Billon out side with a negative billion wind chill this is the place to go. I tell every one I know about this place. read more

There are always a man and a woman working here. The park is fine and the kids love to play. Giving it 1 star because of the STAFF. There was pee on the elites and jumper that was not cleaned promptly and they also don't allow anyone to use outlets. Even in an emergency! I needed a minute to charge my phone for a quick call and the staff yelled at me and made me never want to return. Way to run a business. Shame on you. read more

Made the trek across the metro to visit on a windy and chilly day. My nearly two year old loves it. The place was nearly empty the first hour we were there, but got busy around 1030 am. Clean facilities and a good experience. We'll be back, with both kids. read more

I was planning to have my daughter's 2nd birthday party here. I looked on their website to see if I was able to do this. All the website said was they don't host parties anymore. So I called to be clear that I could have a party there but it was a recording so I was not able to talk to a person. The recording did say that they don't host parties but said nothing about how parties were banned. So on the day of the party, we get there to set up & they told us & some of my friends that we were not allowed to come inside because they do not host birthday parties. So I had to call everyone last minute & tell them the situation. I was scrambling around trying to figure out how I could still have my daughter's party. I ended up going to Chuck E. Cheese but only 2 people came because of the last minute changes. All I wanted was for my daughter to have a good birthday party & this place made that not possible. I suggest you make it clear on your website that birthday parties are not allowed (even though I feel like that's ridiculous. More money for you right?). & get staff member there at all times instead of camera's & yelling over the intercom to kids what they shouldn't do & embarrass them. But, after my experience, I don't really care that much what they do. My daughter has just as much if not more fun at the park outside. Won't be going there again. read more

While the play area is nice, the park is unstaffed. There is a phone number to call if you have issues with the passcode system, but be prepared for your child to wait in the hot entrance area while you sort out the issues. And, don't expect an apology for the time you spent waiting for the family ahead of you to call and resolve their code issue, or the time you spent waiting for your turn to call and the time it takes for you to resolve your issue. You won't get an apology. And don't even think of asking them to allow your child to go in with the family before you (that had the same issue) so that your child may escape the heat and begin to play while you sort out the issue with the door codes. Even though they are aware of the door codes not working properly. They are much more concerned that someone might be sneaking in without payment than with customer service. We have been to the park several times before without issue and enjoyed ourselves. But, I am very disappointed with this experience. read more

We are from out of town, in Minnesota for 2 motnhs. The owner, Bonnie, made it extremely easy to join for just the time we were in town. Not only that, but she emailed me to assure me I wouldn't be charged after my month was up AND she called at the end of the first day of membership to see how we liked it. Thats excellent customer service! Every time we go, I find the entire place clean and welcoming. I was skeptical about the concept of an unstaffed indoor playground. How would they keep it clean? How would they keep bad people out? The whole place is discreetly camera monitored so you aren't uncomfortable yet remain safe. This park is very well maintained with what I assume must be expensive, stage of the art play areas. I always meet a mom or two to chat with while my kids play which is a great bonus. I was given a code when I paid online and I had no trouble getting in...what else...? I just really love and enjoy the place, as well as my four and one year olds. I think it's probably best for kids about 1- 10 or 11 I wish there was one in Texas where we live full time. If my husbands job sends us back to mn in the future, we will definitely go back read more

My daughter and I have been going to Good Times for years. When we first started going it was very easy to give them my business. These days, there's nowhere to charge your phone. I even asked the manager what if a family needed to use their Maps app or their phone/text to get a hold of someone they're meeting up with and what I got was too bad, so said and he even said "well plan ahead next time." Also, the fact that you can't have a party at Good Times anymore is ridiculous. In MN, there are limited places to have a birthday party in a playground like atmosphere. Lastly, they now have people walking around like they're the police and constantly patrol the kids and parents. Nobody likes being told they can't do anything under the sun especially by a teenager or someone who thinks they have a gun on their hip but totally doesn't. It's too strict, the owners are getting too uptight, and I'm sorry to say that after today, I will never give them my business again. read more
