We visited for the first time in Jan 2024 on a weekday and had a bad experience that resulted in an ER visit. My toddler is 2 and baby was 7 months at the time. We got there right in the morning at 9:30am and initially, my toddler had a great time bouncing on the inflatable bouncer. However, it got crowded very quickly. There was one kid maybe 4 years old named "Eli" (wearing green in the photo) who kept pushing other kids and whose mother was on her phone or yelling at her child on the sidelines (the only reason I remember the kid's name) without physically removing him from the situation. I saw this kid push 2 other kids who left the inflatable crying. He eventually laid on top of my daughter and wouldn't get up until I yelled "hey, you can't do that!" and ran over to them. My daughter was crying and obviously distraught. The mother there said nothing and did not remove him from the inflatable. Many of the parents of younger kids were respectful but I noticed the parents of older kids weren't. At the other play areas that my daughter could participate in - like the blocks - I noticed parents said nothing as their kids bossed others around and kept all of the blocks to themselves even if they weren't physically playing with them. In addition, there weren't a lot my toddler could play with besides the inflatable. The toddler play area is mainly for babies that can crawl and my toddler got bored of the area in less than 1 minute. The smaller slides are overrun with bigger kids and it was overwhelming for my daughter to navigate with other kids on it. And on the larger wavy slide, she was brave and tried going down herself, but it was too fast and steep for her and she hit her head on the side of the slide. The day or 2 after our visit, my toddler, baby and I caught the worst viral cold/flu we have had. I know we got it from the park because we did not go anywhere else that week. My baby was physically going limp in my arms and dozing off and I ended up taking her to the ER. I understand that the park doesn't have any liability for other kids' behavior or parents' supervision, or whether or not our children get sick, but I felt like the behavior was not acceptable or welcoming for us to want to come back and it seems like the culture of the park, based on other negative reviews here. The rule on the website states "Adults who fail to supervise their children in the play areas may be required to leave the park" but I don't see how this can be enforced with no staff on hand. The park also looked dirty and I'm not sure how often it is sanitized - and I wasn't able to locate a staff member to update them in real time. It does look great for older kids 5+ who are more assertive and are able to use all features of the park but for my younger kids, it wasn't a great fit. Constructive feedback: I do think the park can benefit from maybe 1 staff member on hand for safety and ensuring the Standard of Conduct on the website is followed, and maybe a large indoor swingset with baby/toddler attachments. Edit to add: Although one staff member was cleaning when I arrived, I looked and could not find anyone after the aggressive incident to voice my concerns. The woman whose child was aggressive was yelling his name and it was echoing throughout the park, so I'm sure if a staff member was present at the time, they would have heard what was happening. I did tell the child twice that he couldn't do what he did and I know the mother heard and still chose not to remove him from the situation. I admit I could have talked to her directly, but if no action was taken after her yelling at her child, I do think an external force was necessary to enforce the Code of Conduct. I wish I could have found staff at the time because I definitely would have addressed the situation real time. read more

Avoid this place if you value your kids health and safety. The other day i made the mistake of taking my kid brothers, and nephew who love playing soccer. They joined a game with several other kids, and because my brother consistently scored, 4-6 boys on the other team ganged up on him instead of simply playing better (sore losers). This happened while I was playing with my toddler nephew. i find out something isnt right when we take a water break. As we are walking to the vending machines i hear kids yelling toward us at him "sorry we pushed you! We didn't hurt you that bad. Come back, its not that serious". I found out later they did more than push him. They hit him several times (some perspective, one of the 4 - 5 bullies is nearly 17-18 years old & 6 ft tall, my little brother is 12!!! & 5'2) They continued harassing him, he said nothing back. So I finally yelled back for them to stop and go away. Thats when I hear a guy yell to me not to speak to his kid. At one point he says, "Im the Parent " ...are you? I thought. This happened four + more times as each kid circled our table taunting him and mocking me. The fathers would come to the table aggressively after I told the kids to back off, never said a word to their kid who came to OUR TABLE and harassed us. They stood by and silently watched as their cowardly kids grouped up to assault and harass one, but all of a sudden they wanted to come check me? Pathetic. Several witnesses were appalled by what they were seeing, asked if I needed help. The girl who works their actually had to stop one of the fathers from approaching because he literally couldn't control himself. They looked like they wanted to fight me, for telling their kids to leave us alone. Its no surprise that those boys felt threatened by my 12 year old brother, their grown fathers were threatened by ONE 5'5 woman telling their kids to stop). The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. What an amazing hidden gem! Freezing cold days stuck at home with a very hyper toddler now have a solution: Good Times Park! This indoor, enormous, park is an oasis for kiddos and parents alike. There's a playground (with equipment for young and older kids), a baby/toddler only area, a huge trampoline, sport court with basketball hoops, soccer field, football field, giant block building area, and more. The trampoline was really fun, but you have to be careful to pull your young kids off if older kiddos join (My kid almost got rocket launched off, but all is well). The soccer field was a hit and allowed my child to run off his energy and have some space to play after a few frigid Minnesota days in a row. The block area was also really fun. You can build forts, "castles," or anything your kid can imagine. There's also a picnic area you can pick snacks for or get some food at the kid-friendly stocked vending machines. The park is unstaffed, so you have to purchase a code online then enter a door code to get in. The price for an all day pass is $10 and well worth it. My child has am absolute blast on our first trip and we will be back. read more

On a recent hot muggy day I brought my 3 yr old granddaughter here. It was perfect. At 9 AM there were only about 6 kids there but I was told it can get quite crowded later on bad weather days. It's a large, bright and very clean area with lots to do. There is equipment for all ages. There are 2 areas with balls, a jumping area and many things to climb and spin. Daily tickets can be purchased online and then a code is provided to allow access on arrival. There were a few staff people on site. Rules are reasonable and clearly posted. Very unique and fun place to go with the kids. I love that there are activities for all types of play, and it felt safe and well-kept. The open lunch-room style break area is wonderful for resting. I've only been here twice, but for bringing those younger than 1 year old, this is a great place to explore. Great value because the baby is free and parents don't need to pay to enter, otherwise i think the cost is still relatively inexpensive. There's a baby area for those younger than 3, padded floor with a foam activity center for the little ones to crawl around, including a small house with stairs and incline. Mirrors and some other misc foam items. Even a library of baby books available. I admit some older kids are annoying and came close to trampling over my exploring baby, but that's not the park's fault, that's the parent's that aren't supervising their kids or not teaching them manners. They allow outside food, there's a vending machine with snacks and drinks, and water fountains. There's a changing area and nursing station, and plenty of sitting areas for parents. The place has a coat rack and shelves to store you shoes or bags. There's plenty of activities for the older kids. The place was clean the two times I've visited. Steer clear of this place unless you want to be surrounded by grown adults not wearing masks and apparently claiming they have "medical exemptions". We were here for 20 minutes and I counted five adults and three older kids (10Y+) all without masks on and there was maybe only 15-20 people in the entire place. The employee told me that every single person in there without a mask said they had a "medical exemption" (including an entire family of 4) and there was "nothing he could do about it". So much for their Covid policies listed on their website. We won't be back ever again, Covid or not. Babysat my 2 nieces (aged 4 & 6) for the weekend; it was too cold to play outside and my apartment is a little small for such energetic people so we came here. They absolutely loved it! Lots of climbing equipment, jumping equipment, spinning equipment, slides, basketball area with 4 square and hopscotch, turf area with soccer and footballs. So easy to access and so much cheaper than bringing them to some other kid-oriented indoor places. Thankfully it wasn't too busy and everyone there was well-parented. Found this lovely gem on a rainy day when my kiddos were driving me insane. This place is pretty big, imo. I entered through the guest door (there's also a members door). There are two computers to buy a pass. For the day, it's $8/child. You can also get a monthly pass, or an annual membership. I d coded to get a month pass because I figured it would pay for itself with a few visits. You're give. A code for the door, and that's it. There's a ton of cubbies and coat racks. When you first enter, there's the main play area. To the far right is the cafe area. It's a self clean area with quite a few tables. They have a hand wash stations, wet cloths to clean the tables, and a broom. There's also vending machines. We ate lunch then headed to play. They ha e a nice soccer area, basketball court, and an area that's supposed to be for 2 and under (I think). There a jumpy area that occupied my kids for over an hour, no joke. We easily spent two hours here. I had to tear my kids away. They had a blast! We've been back again, and it's well worth it IMO. read more

Keep their kids AWAY from iPAD, machines, gadets, anything with a battery. ii. generally active, iii. learning while playing like clean up after yourself in food/play/toy area, iv. Energy release place before naps, trips, snowday(s)/months in case of MN v. Stay physically motivated to do more physical challenges vi. Develop daily/weekly routine along with day to day. This place is exactly what I NEEDED for my 2 daughters and an absolute GO TO place even if its just for 30 mins for days when EVERYTHG is going wrong with a 1 & 3 yr old girl. NOTE: While I agree there is 1 floor projection game in the park, I don't see my daughter wanting to be part of it or any other kid for that matter for more than few mins @ the max. This place is so worth visiting!! They have something for every age group! Even adults! Theres a large basketball area with all sorts of basket balls, four square balls, squishy balls, all sorts!! A soccor and foot ball area with fake grass, where you can practice throwing or kicking!! Very clean, well laid out, and has plenty of seating if you needed a break from playing!!! They even have a little library area by the toddlers section in case your little one wanted some quiet time!!! There is also clean restrooms, even a nursing area for moms!! Although we didn't bring food to eat here, they do provide a large section with plenty or tables and chairs, a sink area and also had vending machines. I have 2 kids; ages 18 months and 4. We were in MN from CA and the weather was brutally chilly over Thanksgiving. I think we went on a day that wasn't part of the weekend holiday but there were still quite a few people there (mostly moms and kids). We had such a great time! The pay kiosk wasn't my favorite but I didn't find it hard to use or too time consuming at all. Paying in advance is probably always best with young kids though :) I really appreciated seeing other moms clean up any messes left behind as it is a self service park. I found it to be incredibly clean and I loved how many play areas there were! There is a giant jumper (not a bounce house but like a large "mound") in the middle and it was big enough for even my smaller one to jump around a bit on her own. I can see that part getting a little iffy when bigger kids are around, though. There is a basketball area with tons of various sized balls and different size hoops, I saw a room with a bunch of foam in it, but we didn't even make it there. There is also a really big lunch room area! You could make a full day out of this place! There were lots of picnic tables set up so it's a non issue to bring some pb&j or snacks. I saw a room with cleaning supplies and there are a few jungle gyms - for different aged kiddos I would 100% bring my kids back to this park! I wish I could open one in California! read more

I've brought my nephews here a few times and it truly is a great affordable family activity. We spent over 3 hours there today and my nephews begged to stay longer! I love the hours of operation. They give you the opportunity to come early in the AM or stay late into the evening. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to bring in your own snacks. The concept of this park is good and has activities that are probably most appropriate for ages 2-8. However, there are a few things that need improvement: 1) Pricing: The cost per child per visit is $8. That price is fine if you plan to stay for at least a couple of hours, but not great if you don't have a couple of hours or your kids quickly lose interest. Another option would be to get a monthly or annual membership. A "Family Membership" for 3 kids is $275/year. This is crazy! A Household Membership to the Minnesota Zoo allows me, my spouse and our three kids plus another guest in for only $159 per year and our membership is tax deductible. A Household Membership to the Science Museum or Children's Museum is $139/year. These other venues have more space for my kids to roam and also change their exhibits periodically, whereas Good Times Park is always the same. Good Times Park management should consider changing your memberships to family pricing like other local attractions. 2) Entrance: At Good Times Park, if you are a member, you get an access code and can use that for quick and easy access. If you are not a member, you must log into a computer each time you visit to enter all of your contact and payment info before you receive a daily access code. I've seen numerous people spend 10+ frustrating minutes sitting at a computer in the lobby typing in the necessary info to gain access to the park while their kids impatiently wait for their turn to get inside to play. Someone should be staffing the entrance to speed up this process. 3) Birthday Parties: This is the kind of place that kids want to have their birthday parties at. Taking that away didn't make sense. Now, if you go to pay for a group of more than a couple of kids, the owner will call you to question what your intention is at the park. What's the point of having the option to pay for 8 kids if you're going to question that person's intentions and assume it's a birthday party? 4.) Staffing: The park is not staffed (aside from the owner sometimes being there to tidy up). The only way to get help with the time-consuming entrance process is by calling the owner by phone. Also, other than by video, the owners aren't actually monitoring how many people each person pays for vs. actually brings into the park. Don't make the Minnesota-nice move and open the door for someone you see struggling to pay for admission. You'll get a nasty phone call from the owner telling you it's against park policy. Other businesses, like museums and sporting event venues, would not survive if they left their doors unattended. You should not expect your customers to be rude and close the doors on other visitors when you have made a decision to forego admission staff to attain greater profits. I have also been at the park when the owners were not present and there was a group of kids getting a little crazy and no parents supervising them. The owner must have seen this on her video surveillance (there are cameras all over the park monitoring you so that the owners don't actually have to be there to know what's happening). They called my friend to find out if it was her kids (it wasn't). I think that it's ballsy to leave your business unattended and then randomly call customers to find out if their kids are the problem. Hiring on-site staff could solve this problem and give you some personal interaction with your customers. The owner, Bonnie, is rude. She is nice to people that compliment her business, but give her some constructive criticism and she will hunt you down and possibly revoke your membership. Her reaction to anyone she is unhappy with is ridiculous and unacceptable if she actually wants customers to come back and spread the word about her park. I think most of the people that give this park positive reviews are people who have not interacted with Bonnie. Because interacting with her will surely change your impression. 5.) Design: The restrooms, eating area and office block your ability to see the opposite side of the park. Good luck managing multiple kids who want to go in different directions. And be prepared to get a phone call from the owner if one of your kids gets a little unruly. Like I said, the concept is great, but the owners need to make some improvements. read more

Mixed review. Here are my takeaways after our first time here: 1. Kid (7-year-old + 2 friends) LOVED it and had so much fun. 2.5 hours of non-stop fun, to be exact. 2. Level of parenting here widely varies. Some parents clearly come to release their children and forget them, which causes dangerous situations... but the parents who also insist on jumping with full power on the trampoline also suck. 3. There is a "security guard" but that is a lose term, because when you ask them to please monitor the trampoline, where kids are doing flips and almost kicking your kid in the face- they stand by the trampoline, watch the flips happen, shrug their shoulders and walk away. I drove a school bus full of kids to this business today. Since I had my not yet 2 year old daughter with me I assumed that the establishment would grant her a free pass. It is customary for businesses to grant discounts for bus drivers in this situation eg, the minnesota zoo, McDonald's, valleyfair etc. I told them we'd only be there for half hour, tops. They wouldn't budge stating they are for profit. Obviously. My one star reflects how it isn't great for a toddler. Honestly she got bored quickly and usually loves this type of thing. I wrestled with writing this review because the problems I had with this establishment was not the fault of the facility - not directly. I went there today with my two children ages 3 and 4. We had some free time before their Montessori classes started for the day and they had energy to burn. But, that was a BIG mistake. The check-in service was never a problem for us, I signed up beforehand and we had a monthly membership last winter. I signed up for another monthly membership before we went and entering was a breeze. I am very upset and will be asking for my money back and canceling our membership. Apparently, schools, child care and other child services have field trips to Good Times Park and the children are very loosely supervised. The GTP website does give you a listing of date-related field trips (or big groups) and gives you an approximation of how many students will be attending, but don't expect the parents or teachers to actively reign in their charges. Most of the parent volunteers were glued to their phone and didn't bother to watch their groups. When my daughters were in the block building area, I counted a whopping 18 kids without supervision. There was one guy who I think was suppose to be watching them, but not once did he look up from his phone. There were, seriously, no other adults watching all these hooligans. I call them hooligans because they were. They were running wild and fighting over blocks with fellow students - I had to step in and break up some disagreements AND they weren't even my children! One child BIT my 3 year old for no reason other than she had a blue ball and the kid wanted it and another student pushed my 4 year old so hard she fell. Good Times Park isn't a place where you can drop your kids off and spend time reading or catching up on emails. It is a big facility that stretches length-wise and you need to be on top of your child's activities at all times. If you can't put your phone away for 30 minutes, this place isn't for you. I blame Good Times Park, not because its their job to supervise our children (because its posted EVERYWHERE that its not staffed and you're responsible for cleaning up after your children/watching them), but because they don't demand a higher adult-to-student ratio when allowing field trips to use their facility. Not to mention, it seems that there is a field trip planned with 100+ kids there every day. Please consider changing your policies, because we won't continue to pay to use the space until they are changed. read more

If you have kids 3 or under, do not go on the weekend in the winter. I repeat, do not go on the weekend in the winter! We went here on a Saturday at 4pm and it was completely, totally, utterly bonkers. Hardly a square foot of free space anywhere, which was a shame as the amenities looked really cool. We braved the crowds for an hour and then left because we'd had enough. It was exhausting making sure our 2 year old wasn't trampled by older, rougher kids completely oblivious of how to play nicely around the little ones. However, Monday morning's experience was far, far better. Ample space! No 10 year old boys doing suicidal maneuvers on the huge trampoline at everyone's expense! A basketball court free of grown men showing off! Hooray. The floor is nice and cushy for tots, it's kept quite clean (although I'm sure it's still a total germ fest so don't forget to wash your hands when you leave). I wish it wasn't out in the boondocks, but we'll probably continue to go there weekly until the outdoor parks are free of slush. As far as the check-in system goes, I didn't have an issue with the computer self-serve system. Each time it worked the first time and was easy and self-explanatory. Prior to our experience this past weekend, we loved Good Times park. It's a great place for the kids to burn off some energy in the winter. So this review is entirely related to the park's customer service and not the actual facility. The park's owners made me, my family, and friends feel like criminals. This weekend we intended to bring our family along with several other families to play for a couple of hours. Let me preface this by saying we were not hosting an event, birthday party, or other such gathering at the facility since the rules specifically ban this. Our intent was to gift our friend group with paid admissions for all of their kids since we regularly rotate this type of activity within our friend group. The online ordering system allowed me to purchase a 4 and 5 group pass, so that is what I did. I paid for 9 children all who were going to be accompanied by an adult. About 2 minutes later I get a call from the park telling me that I cannot do this as the park does not allow birthday parties... events... etc. I explained that no such thing was happening and instead we were gifting our group of friends with paid admission for all of their children. The told me absolutely not, I could not do this for security reasons, and instead each of my friends was going to have to buy their own individual passes at the door or online. Good Times park then proceeded to lock my online account so that I can no longer purchase admission to the park using my account. If this really is a security issue than may I suggest that you change your process? I should be able to buy 9 passes and input the names of all of the children and parents so that you have record of who was there. Me buying the admissions for 9 of my friends kids is not different than them buying their own admission. Secondly, when I did purchase 2 admissions for my kids, it only asked me for my name and gave me one entrance code. Wouldn't it be smarter to require each child entering to have their own code? What's to stop me from bringing 5 other kids with my single entrance code? Or what's to stop me from handing off my entrance code to someone else? Your system is flawed. Thirdly you are really missing out on an entire niche by not allowing hosted events. Why not create a couple of event rooms that remain locked unless you book an actual party? Why not have a staff person there to help with the party? This way you could limit the number of group events happening there and maintain a level of security as well. Lastly, when we were there, there was another group trying to do the same thing and you shamed them and made them feel unwelcome and embarrassed in front of other families trying to get entrance into the park. I witnessed this and really felt bad for those people. They ended up leaving and you lost out on revenue. Please consider changing your policy and they way that you treat your patrons. As for me and my family we will not be making a return visit for quite some time, our friends also had a bad taste left their mouths over this experience. read more
