On a long drive from Columbus, OH to northern Virginia, I took a pit stop here for a caffeine break in mid-June 2025. Lots of pluses to this cafe. First, I very much enjoyed the large Cafe Americano with two splashes of whole milk. Can't comment on the food items, but the coffee is great here. Second, it's easy to find street parking next to Mugshots or about a block away near the Heritage Port Park entrance if you're here on a weekday. Third, the service was very friendly and pleasant. And finally, the interior of the cafe is cozy with the fun theme of mugshots. You can find lots of celebrity mugshots posted on the walls and tables. Overall, I very much enjoyed lingering in the cafe and relaxing a bit before resuming the drive on I-70 East. I would definitely return again for a coffee break in downtown Wheeling, WV.

The combination of the creamy mozzarella, tomato and balsamic was fantastic. It was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Im hoping the next time we stop in they aren't out of their salty bread to try with it. My wife tried the turkey, Brie and apple butter sandwich. Her's was my favorite of the two. They lightly toast the sandwich so everything is warm and creamy. The apple butter pairs nicely with the Brie and the smokey turkey. I'd recommend both of our sandwiches but if mine was an 8/10 hers was a 10 for me. I also had their house salad on the side. It wasn't anything extra special but the cranberries were a really nice touch to take it to the next level. If I had even one complaint to make it would be the hours. I'm sure they close at 2 because most people because they're a brunch spot, but with the quality of their food i would eat it for any meal of the day. I can't recommend it enough honestly.
