I'm shameless in my love for incredible burritos. While we were waiting, a 20 year old girl in a wispy turquoise skirt and 4 boys around her come strutting up. They're debating about where to eat. I tell her that I like her skirt and she should get her savory things here and head to f&f for a fried cheesecake. She slurs out, "yum!! Guys we should go there!" She leans and tells me that they're not going to listen to her. I say they should because of your impeccable fashion sense, they surround her like a square and lead her to silver mine subs. :( Ever since we discovered La Taqueria on the east side, we were hoping he would open a restaurant downtown. I'm thrilled to be able to have my late night burrito fix by the best shop in town, it blows Qdoba and chipotle out of the water/hot salsa. The world will be rocked if a full blown La Taquiera opens up downtown.

As for the brand's products, my husband sometimes purchases their meats such as hotdogs, bologna, ham, turkey, salami, and bacon. I do not think that these foods are the healthiest, but they do taste alright.

This was not the first time I've seen it, but it was the first time I've been inside an actual Weinermobile. Yes, the famous car shaped like a hot dog was introduced by the company in 1936 and has been a huge marketing hit ever since. There are SIX of them and they tour the USA and Canada. Briefly changed to "Frankmobile" and I'm so glad it's back to being the Weinermobile. Friendly operators who I caught up with in - Fort Smith Arkansas! - and had the doors open. They answered the same questions I'm sure they get asked all the time, like how does it handle on the road (pretty well) and do the Wienermobiles ever meet up (occasionally) and do they sleep in it (no). I got a neat plastic Wienermobile that I might just mount in the Sprinter van. And yes, I will probably get some Oscar Meyer for lunch today! Melt in your mouth, bourbon flavor you can taste with brown sugar lingering on your tongue. I might trade a limb for a bag of these. ( They also have the same flavor with Pecans, but I love the walnuts all the way.) Rumor has it Lala's has some new savory nuts on the way. I'll be the first in line. Move over squirrels.
