The tuna poke bowl seems like frozen tuna blocks (expected) with grains and pickled veggies. It was pretty light and refreshing. The bone broth was a good sip on the side! I would recommend getting it in a to go container, since it seemed to stay warmer in that compared to the bowl. I also tried their kombucha which had a stronger aftertaste of beer than what I'm used to (probably wouldn't get again). Overall, compared to other tuna I've had in the past, nothing stands out significantly but it's a great healthy dining option that's walking distance from Memorial Union!

Given it was their version of Octoberfest they had a food vendor outside and I understand they often have food trucks because I am not sure what other food choices they have beyond a tombstone-like pizza I saw someone eating. We didn't spend anytime inside but it looked like a typical microbrewery with high top tables and lots of games.

The space itself is great -- high ceilings, big windows that let in tons of natural light, and a nice open layout. Our pup is always happy to come along, and we even picked up one of their dog toys from the merch area -- easily her new favorite. They've got some fun merch for humans too. Inside was super cool with tables. You can see the brewing tanks outside was equally as impressive with some patio tables and chairs as well as some chairs along the water and some outdoor games. Small local craft shops are scattered thru out the area along with a kitchen featuring smoked pork and brisket. Their beer options rotate throughout the year which is another reason to stop in and see what they have.

I started walking inside the narrow corridor. I looked at the decorations on the wall. It seems like the decor and images inside the frames moving around with prying eyes. Finally, a place to sit. A buzzing sound alerted me, ah the breakfast meals are ready. I walked back to the order counter. I was confused, I have to get my own order from a small window and serve myself. Jinkies! Mystery has been solved. That's why the restaurant is named 'Lazy Janes', there is no customer service. It's the patron's job to get the food and clean up. Does this eating experience deserve a tip?

NessAlla Kombucha is delicious. I typically purchase the product at the Willie Street Coop and I love that there are so many flavors to choose from. I also like being able to refill my own bottle. I am definitely more interested in buying local and I think their product is as good or better than the national brands! read more

Yes, the famous car shaped like a hot dog was introduced by the company in 1936 and has been a huge marketing hit ever since. There are SIX of them and they tour the USA and Canada. Briefly changed to "Frankmobile" and I'm so glad it's back to being the Weinermobile. Friendly operators who I caught up with in - Fort Smith Arkansas! - and had the doors open. They answered the same questions I'm sure they get asked all the time, like how does it handle on the road (pretty well) and do the Wienermobiles ever meet up (occasionally) and do they sleep in it (no). I got a neat plastic Wienermobile that I might just mount in the Sprinter van. And yes, I will probably get some Oscar Meyer for lunch today!
