Recently Columbia Nursery farmed out a landscaping job for us to another company as they were booked up for this season. The owner that arrived from Landscape Pros was unpleasant, unprofessional, pushy, and did a terrible job that ill need fixed by someone else. We will continue to use Columbia Nursery, but I'm a little jaded now.

So, my husband and I grabbed some of the last seats. We are so glad we did. The farm is so close to town and it is beautiful. The owners are so friendly; they started the farm in 1991. What is so unsettling is I received my flowers Wednesday late afternoon and by Sunday they were basically dead, and spending $100-$150 on arrangement. I think they should last a little longer than 3 to 4 days. On Monday, my friend and I walked into the store and I had photos of my flowers and they basically said sorry 3 to 4 days is the life expectancy of the flowers. I've gone to numerous flowers shops and have received numerous flower arrangements and they last one to two weeks no problem . They were not friendly. They did not do anything for me or give me a credit or anything and I think that's so unsettling, will not do business there any longer and neither will any of my friends that all live in Whitefish! I had a mechanical emergency during a recent vacation to Whitefish. While staying at a hotel just…read moreup the road from Ace Hardware, the metal frames of my wife's glasses broke. She really needs her glasses to function, and no, she does not have an extra pair with her. It is late in the day on a Saturday. There is no way we can find an Optical shop open here today, and we are heading into remote areas of Washington tomorrow. We are away from home, and I am without tools, supplies, or even an appropriate work surface. No worries though, because I remembered seeing an Ace Hardware store as we drove in. Suddenly, I feel like MacGyver, or Mark Watney...under pressure, but ready to put together a solution to save the day. I was able to buy Gorilla Glue, some copper wire, some hobby clips, and wire cutters from Nelson's Ace Hardware. I got a couple of paper clips from the Hotel front desk, a lens cleaning cloth from my camera bag, and some loose paper from a folder that happened to be in the car. To quote Hannibal Smith, "I love it when a plan comes together". And Nelson's Ace Hardware did their part today! Thanks Helpful Folks!
