Pay $100 for a $15 bouquet. BIG ripoff. We asked for no lillies due to allergies, bouquet came with lillies. Better off going to the grocery store or instacarting. Also will add that the attitude from the management was completely unnecessary, unprofessional and unfortunate. Although delivery was punctual and directions were followed, the flowers I ordered (Beautiful Whisper) looked NOTHING like the ones depicted on the Yelp page. I ordered a deluxe sympathy bouquet and got a bright mix of wild flowers with ALOT of filler. After doing years of business with this shop, we were terribly disappointed in the exorbitant and overpriced expense for three bouquets for my nana's funeral. $1500 for three bouquets (nothing special) and $60 for three ribbons that were barely seen. $20 for a single ribbon! Ridiculous. There's no way there was $1500 worth of product. We were more than happy to honor our wife, mother, nana with expensive flowers but these three bouquets did not come close. And for the painful reason we were purchasing them, a $60 surcharge for a few pieces of ribbon is an insult. Do not waste your money at this shop. I phone ordered here from today on a Friday all the way from California! My best friend moved out to Montana so I wanted to surprise her for her birthday even from a distance. I called super last minute and all the wonderful ladies I spoke to on the phone were super easy going and sweet, it was refreshing to hear their hospitality and kindness through the phone even with a last minute same day delivery order (3 hours before they were about to close up shop!) I had originally tried to order from another local florist I found on Yelp only to get a last minute message from them letting me know my friend lived outside of their delivery zone so they were canceling my order. I called Flowers by Hansen immediately and they were not only able to handle the delivery, but delivered the most beautiful flower arrangement to my friend. The lady I spoke to on the phone was super sweet and so eager to please. To say their kindness and hospitality were refreshing is truly an understatement. I received flowers from my mom in law while in hospital and it was my birthday. On day 3 the entire bouquet was dead. This was with changing the water daily and bouquet not near direct sunlight or vents. My mom in law and hubby called the company and they wanted me to bring the bouquet to them for a refresher.....last thing I wanted to do after over 2 weeks in hospital and major abdominal surgery. My hubby brought me a bouquet from Costco on the same day and over a week later they look amazing! Hmmmm. Go figure...$20 compared to $75! My sisters ordered and paid for a $78.00 arrangement that was to be in a ceramic dish. The arrangement was to have several plants. They delivered a small Kalanchoe in a green plastic pot. It has a small pink ribbon with yellow floral paper. It was odd as the flowers on the Kalanchoe, paper and ribbon were all different colors. Not only was it a $15.00 plant, but the presentation was poor. Flowers by Hansen has refused to call my sister back to resolve the issue. I also had two deliveries of roses, two years ago that were partially dead. I would never order from this business. read more

Spent half an hour picking out just the right flowering plant for my wife's birthday, only to have them call me up after I had already paid to say they were out of the purple african violets I had ordered, but they could substitute with a white flowering plant I hadn't seen. Over a barrel, since I was at work, I agreed. They didn't offer to give me a discount on a more expensive plant with some color, as most places would have done, since they were out of stock of an item they said was available. At that point I was already upset, then I saw what they sent to my wife instead. They sent a plant I could probably find on the side of the road in a pot with dirt caked on the side. I ordered a May basket with spring wild flowers for my sister. Sadly even though I questioned the sales lady several times. I was NOT ORDERING from Hansens but basically HIGHJACKED by AVAS flowers. The order didnt reach Hansens till 4pm at which time Kathy called to let them know it would not work. They told her that it was OK... to send a VASE the next day of florist choice. My $65. Ended up in a vase with yellow carnations and a calla lilly. I called Avas 5 times and was told I would have had to call within 24hrs and there was nothing they could do. It didnt even get delivered by then. FORTUNATELY, KATHY of HANSENS called FTD and Avas, to help resolve the issue. Be very SURE not to get railroaded by a 3rd party. read more

I ordered the Autumn Bouquet "Deluxe" to be delivered to a friend in Kalispell. The photo representing the Autumn Bouquet posted on their website looked excellent. My friend sent a photo of what she had received. It was NOTHING like the photo posted. I do understand that flowers, as shown, are subject to availability. However, I would think the flowers they present in the photo of their Autumn bouquet would be of flowers that are available in Autumn. It's difficult to know from looking at photos, but I don't see most, if any, of the flowers shown on the Hansen website in the photo sent to me by my friend. Moreover, the quantity of flowers on the website is significantly greater than the flowers delivered. Lastly, the first thing I think of when I see Autumn Bouquet is COLOR. The bouquet delivered is sorely lacking in color. I paid $120 + $13 delivery for a bouquet that would have been more fairly priced at $60 including delivery. I will not be placing another order with Hansen. read more

This florist has been in business for years and I've been a loyal customer. Over the past few years, though, quality and value have nosedived. They have disappointed me too many times - from poorly constructed wedding wristlets and boutonnières (had fake foliage and fell apart before the ceremony) to ugly and inappropriate corsage and boutonnière this past weekend. Then my work mate got a little planter with two tiny plants from her family in Ohio - Hansens charged them over $70! Total ripoff. Done with them. Find another florist. read more

As tradition I wanted to take my kids somewhere local, special, and wonderful to pick out there Christmas tree ornament for this year. Last year where You them was a heartbreaking flunk. A different local florist shop.... This year was a completely different and much better experience. I wish i remembered her name. She seemed to be the head lady. Little older, glasses. She was kinda enough to not get upset in the slightest when one of my kids broke a beautiful item on accident. She actually THANKED US, for at least telling her. I was embarrassed and so was my kid. We left feeling good about being honest. Thanks to her. Her care In wrapping each ornament for us was beyond the norm. I even left with a gifted rose from her. Aside from all that, she even took the time to take our picture as a family in front of one of there Christmas trees. Her kindness was out of this world. Thank you for this day. I used to use this florist to send business arrangements when I lived in the Valley and never had a complaint from any clients so now that I live out of town, I use Flowers by Hansen to send flowers to my mother and Grandmother who live in Kalispell. The flowers they send are always pretty and generally basic arrangements just to let my family know I'm thinking of them and to bring a smile. For my grandmothers 88th birthday, I called and ordered a "large" arrangement for her along with chocolates and a birthday balloon. I was happy to pay the extra money for the larger arrangement and explained that it was a special occasion and I wanted it to be really special. My mom sent me a picture of the arrangement and I was sadly disappointed that it was just a small normal arrangement consisting of 2 roses, 1 hydrangea, 1 stem of Lillies and some filler cheap looking flowers. For abut $100 I was expecting something that said "Happy Birthday, your Family really loves you!" but instead felt like I got "Happy Birthday." I called the shop to explain that I had ordered a large arrangement and perhaps the girls putting this together made a mistake, but Debbie the owner checked on it and said what they had sent was in fact what they considered an upgraded bouquet based on the hydrangea and 2 roses. The very sweet woman who I usually call and order from called me back to offer to replace the bouquet with a large arrangement (what I ordered) but it would consist of daisies and carnations. After discussing with my family, we chose to not take the pretty flowers even though they were small to replace with a large bouquet of inexpensive looking carnations and daisies. I'm sadly disappointed with this suggestion and feel as though I was ripped off by this company. We won't be using Flowers by Hansen for anymore of our flower needs. read more
