They were efficient and careful with my things. Got the job done perfectly! I would highly recommend Bradley and his team!

What poor communication from this location. I ordered a trailer hitch online because it's next to…read moreimpossible to get ahold of someone at this (or any U-Haul) location directly. This was one of the few locations where you can wait for your hitch install to be completed. Most locations had a drop-off and it will be done by the end of the day type of policy. So I show up on a Tuesday for my 9a install. Drop off the vehicle and they tell me they'll be done in 3 hours, but could take longer. So I mosy my way down to Starbucks and enjoy a coffee while sitting inside, walk around a bit, head to Whole Foods, then to Nordstrom Rack. Around 11:45, my phone rings from a Winter Park number and it's UHaul. The guy on the phone tells me that they were unable to do the installation because the part never arrived? WHAT?!?!? The part never arrived? Why couldn't someone have known that when I dropped off the vehicle? Why did they only know about it almost 3 hours after the fact? WTF Dude! I understand shipping delays, but have the decency to tell the customer about it. Total lack of communication and empathy. I walked back to the location and was pissed. The guy that called me walked out of the store and left me to deal with another guy, who was actually pretty good at calming me down. He said we could reschedule for Saturday morning, which I did. Let's move to Friday... I attempted to call the store to see if they had the part. I was not going to drive there again without knowing if they had the part. I literally called 5 times in a row, hanging up and calling back after the call got forwarded to U-Haul. Finally, I had to have the person at U-Haul contact the store manager to call me back. What a PITA to deal with. Then they told me my appointment was for Sunday and I had to friggin argue that we scheduled for Saturday (it was even written on the invoice). There's pretty much nowhere else that does these types of installs, so I was stuck with U-Haul. The install went well after everything was situated, but I would never deal with this location again due to the fact the don't care about peoples' time, and it's impossible to get ahold of someone directly without a huge runaround. Unacceptable for any business. They may do good work, but not worth the hassle.

This location, N Orlando Ave, north of Lee Road, I would not recommend. I went in store on Sunday…read moreafternoon to pick up moving supplies. I picked up dish and glass packs; the label states that boxes are included. The employee that checked out my order did not inform me that the boxes are not in the packaging, but are separate (although included in price). I also picked up other items and couldn't carry all at once. There were no other customers in the store, but the employee did offer to help me get my purchases into my car. Upon returning home and opening the dishpak I realized that I didn't have the "included" box. So, I had to return to store; no corresponding boxes in stock! I requested that someone call me when re-stocked, which should be Monday or Tuesday. I didn't receive a call, so returned to store. The received inventory had not been shelved and the shrink-wrapped stacks weren't labeled as to contents. Glad that I brought the dish and glass pack inserts with me to return for refund so that I don't have to deal with that store again! I then went to the Semoran store; stock an service were great!

Do not rent from Budget Truck rental in Altamonte Springs, FL unless you want a stressful move. I…read morerented a 16' truck on Monday, November 4th to drive my belongings to Niceville, FL (about 400 miles). I explained that I needed a mechanically sound vehicle as I am traveling alone and going a long distance. The truck they gave me had 158,182 miles on it. (158,641 at the end of the trip.) They assured me it had just been serviced. I soon learned that the truck was leaking in the bed and the light didn't work. 2 things I can deal with. What I can't deal with is the truck not starting the next morning. I stayed the night before getting on the road and when I was ready to leave, the truck wouldn't start. I called the rental location and the older man who rented me the truck was very cavalier. He told me I had to call roadside. I called roadside (which I was told I had to pay extra for) and waited for the mechanic. Every scenario ran through my head. Will I have to change trucks? How am I supposed to get my belongings into a new truck? How long will this take? The only good thing I can say is Rich, the mechanic was wonderful. He was patient and helped calm me down. He ended up replacing the battery, assured me the alternator was perfect and sent me on my way. The whole ordeal took about 2 hours, which got me home after dark. Rich even text me to make sure I made it home. I have yet to hear from the branch to check on me. I returned the vehicle Wednesday in Crestview, FL. They took one look at the unit number and said, "22? (Vehicle Unit Number is 227243). When we get a vehicle this old, we are told to immediately bring it to auction." I now believe I was used to transport this vehicle out of their fleet, so it could be retired because it was a one-way. I was advised to call customer service and let them know of my experience. I called customer service, and after about an hour on the phone and a very non-sympathetic rep was offered a $60 credit. I was also informed that I did not have to purchase Roadside assistance. I spent $429.70 and $110 in gas for 459 miles. (about $1.17 per mile) $60 is not reason enough to give Budget my business ever again. Rent from U-haul. They cost more, but at least their trucks work.
