All books that date pre 1999 (which are most of them) average at about $3 each, and in my opinion they have depreciated much more in value. Store hours per day are short and inconsistent. The store was supposed to close at 3pm the day we went and we watched the employee close the place at 2:15. When Wifey and I went to Cooperstown I was like a kid in a candy shop and wanted to take everything in since we only had a few days. After going to the museum then next day we stopped back in and I left with a couple of vintage cards and two great books. The guy let me haggle on the cards and gave us a discount on the books. If I ever get back up to Cooperstown I hope this place is still around. Great selection, pretty well organized, good prices and the guys working both times we stopped in were great.

Then you start looking and the place is as organized as any library. The real problem is they have too many books. Good luck making a decision! The staff is always very helpful. And everything is reasonably priced. On your first trip, just go in and look around and you'll find books you didn't even know you wanted. If you're not likely to be back for a while, bring a list of books you're interested in to save time.
