I love the quality and selection, from produce to meat, offered by GoodEggs. It features great-tasting meal recipes with ingredients included, allowing for flexibility depending on how much time you'd like to spend on a meal. The healthy salad options for lunch are fantastic. I prefer my food to be locally sourced, and GoodEggs accomplishes this. The food is healthy, and the ingredients are unprocessed, making my family feel good when consuming them. The delivery is consistent and without any issues, saving so much time compared to going to grocery stores, where the majority of food is processed and boxed. I also appreciate that all GoodEggs workers are paid living wages with benefits.

Good Box Organics is not only convenient, with the food being delivered right to my door, but is entirely healthy as well. The owners Samantha and Mark started this business in 2010 and have a mission of creating a healthier future. The best part is they work with local farmers to get all their produce and find multiple ways to give back to the community. They also have their Support a School program where they donate 5% back from every box sold. They have different boxes to choose from and different sizes as well. Some boxes are fruits only and others include fruits and vegetables. I went with the half size fruit and vegetable box. Before delivery, you get an email of what is going to be inside the box and the best part for me is, it includes recipes of what you can make with the items in your box. My box included an avocado, pears, apples, oranges, broccoli, cilantro, pink chard, and lettuce. One of the recipes included Baked Broccoli Parmesan Fritters which I am definitely going to try out because I always need new ideas for meals with having two small children. The delivery fee for their boxes is $6.95 or you can pick up the boxes for free at many of their local pickup locations. The service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley so definitely something for everyone!

The farmers are kind and good people. The produce is local, fresh, and can't be matched. The small team that makes this company work are AMAZING individuals. Sam and Mark are truly two of the kindest and most genuine people in my life. I couldn't recommend supporting a small local company more. I genuinely mean it.

For the first time ever, I took on the daunting task of cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal by…read moremyself. 10 sides and a turkey were to be created all in one day. After hours of food network/cooking channel TiVo recordings, scours of foodie websites, a stack of printed recipes and even a timeline spreadsheet to best coordinate cooking times and temperatures in my single oven, left me one decision: the turkey. Sure I could have hit the local supermarket like many do, but I wanted something special to commemorate my first foray into the Turkey day holiday. Enter Twitter. A single post seeking free-range and organic Turkey sources to my 800+ followers turned up a lot of the usual. Gelson's. Whole Foods. etc. But there was one that stood out: a tweet from Farmer's Market Fairy. Linda stated she could procure anything I desired. Being that my needs were specific (unfrozen, un-brined, free range, organic and butchered into a whole breast, separate thighs/drums/wings) I felt this would be an option that would get me exactly what I wanted and in a timely fashion. After a couple DM's on twitter and some follow up emails, all was arranged. Linda, was knowledgeable, efficient and able to get me my bird that same day. She met me at my place in Downtown (near to where she lives/operates). The bird was exactly what I asked for and very reasonably priced and I never had to leave my place. She even gave me some info on the source of the bird (great fodder to relay to guests). The turkey ended up being amazing. Amazing taste, and thankfully my preparation went off with out a hitch. Quotes from guests proclaimed the best Turkey they ever had and that it almost tasted like a fine steak because it was so rich. Thanks Farmer's Market Fairy!! I know without a doubt that the next time I need a hard to find, or artisanal product, I will call on Farmer's Market Fairy!! Highly recommended!

It is extremely organized in stall placement and the vibe is friendly and business oriented. I didn't bring enough bags and I was so overwhelmed and overstimulated in the best way. I bought organic everything, eggs, whole chicken (roasted perfectly and the cleanest chicken ever, will be researching SZ Ranch), like five bags of nuts, cheese, various fruits and vegetables and for sure everything was and is delicious. My body is like, 'why haven't you bought food here before?' I have found my Farmer's Market. I don't even need to eat a lot for my body to be full because everything is so full of nutritional value and alive with all the good enzymes the body needs. The only thing I found not so great is that I bought empanadas and gluten free pastries. The empanadas were pretty dry and one note and the chimichurri sauce was just green lemon juice. So I wouldn't order from there again. The gluten free goods were a hit and miss, the cake loaf was good, but the three different cookies I bought were either too sweet or too salty, not edible at all. I bake gluten free cookies all the time and no one can tell the difference from a regular cookie so I was doubly disappointed in the cookie purchase. However, overall this is the best market and I am excited to go back and try out some new vendors and revisit the ones I'm now acquainted with as of last week

Walked in at exactly 9am, and there was already a long line. They had a lot of food options to choose from along with lots of beautiful, real plants. They have over 30 vendors and some even let you try the food before buying them. Parking situation was a disaster, No parking and one of the streets near buy was closed. I had to circulate like 4 times, parked 2 blocks down and had to walk to the Market. I bought couple of scented candles, loaf of olive bread, 4 Croissants, dozen eggs, 4 beef Pupusas, fresh Sunflowers from their floral vendor, 2 regular size ground beef tacos with cheese and tomato from their taco stand, 2 Apricot preserves in a jar, got fresh berries. 5 Peaches, Strawberries, and blueberries, and one cup of decaf. Coffee to enjoy with my croissant. Place was clean, and dogs were very annoying being in the presence of food and people. They have dried fruit, nuts, few clothes, jewelry, and more.. A small pony ride with carousel in the back for kid's entertainment. Everything was overly priced and not worth paying the money for. You can get all that at your nearest grocery store for a lot more affordable prices. It was worth giving this place a try though.. I think I will stick to my Studio City Farmers market that is literally 5 minutes away from my house. They also don't have parking, but it is somewhat more manageable than this one was..Remaining food that doesn't sell, they make a donation to the nearest charities!
