super cute and has quite a bit of indoor and patio seating…read more Large menu, I tried the sweet + salty which was French toast with egg + bacon. This was very very good. Perfect French toast and not too sweet. Also had the avocado eggs benedict which was a decent portion size and came with potatoes. There was no wait even on a weekend lunch and food was quick to come out.

We were informed we could sit anywhere outside. By the pleasant server. We were given the menu and perused what we wanted. I ordered grandma's clam chowder which comes served in a sour dough bun hollowed out. I also ordered waffles with fried chicken. Wifey got the sweet and salty which was French toast with soft poached egg/hollandaise. The waffle I ordered also came with a soft poached egg/hollandaise. For beverages I got a regular coffee and wifey got a lavender latte. The plating was absolutely beautiful for the dishes. My first bite of the waffles and chicken was delightful. The chicken was moist and seasoned well and the waffle was nice and soft. There also was a salad on top which was dressed in a sweet dressing. That was standard as greens go. The clam chowder had a decent amount of large clams in it, the texture and creaminess was good. I did feel the base or soup stock used was a tad light for my liking as I wasn't catching the essence of clam chowder flavor. Other wise it was ok. But filling it you intend to eat the whole bun which I did cuz I love sourdough bread. Wife's french toast was lovely, I had a small taste and to me it was good. Nothing mind blowing but decently good. The hollandaise used to be tasted buttery and legit. The meal on a whole was very good and we love the patio seating. Would definitely come back again.

It's a super quaint spot with limited seating but on nicer days there's no need to dine in when you can just take your order outside to enjoy Steveston! I came here before for the mini tayakis and loved them, it was also a nice surprise to find that the server gave us an extra one. I really enjoyed the berry bingsoo, and when you think you've gotten through all the good stuff, you find there's an extra layer of fruit at the bottom YUM. The servings are little smaller than other bingsoo spots but I strongly feel the quality is better. But of course it's not a proper sweet treat without there being chocolate involved so we tried the Oreo croffle as well. Super flaky and solid amount of Oreo chunks, loved that too.

The space is well-decorated and gives a clean but cozy vibe. The workers there were very kind and patient as we struggled to make choices on what to order. We opted for some sweet desserts like the mango croffle and the bungeoppang (basically Korean version of taiyaki) and some kimbap. Prices were average and the items were made to order so we waited patiently at the table. The mango croffle was good - not too sweet! The kimbap was also quite delicious and filled with various ingredients. Unfortunately, our experience fell flat with the bungeoppang as when they arrived only 2 of them were hot the rest of them were cold (not even room temp). The worker mentioned there would be a delay with receiving them because we ordered 3 different flavours (nutella, red bean, and custard). I can understand the wait and if there were various temperatures of warmth but cold to the touch...I'm not too sure. Overall, I like the idea of a Korean snack café where you can enjoy various guilty eats but the execution and quality control might need to be worked on.

The staff were friendly and personable, and the turn around time from order to arrival was minimal. Location near the wharf is convenient for all the tourists (ourselves included) milling about in the area, looking for a quick jolt of java and something to wash down with it. While I'm not much of a coffee person, my wife is, and that means this inviting cafe is likely to enter our rotation of must-visit places, when we return to Steveston next year on our anniversary (again)! Very recommended!

I politely asked the staff if I could use the microwave to warm it up -- I wasn't even asking for a new one. The answer was no, and instead they offered to add more hot milk. I declined because that would just water down the coffee. What really bothered me was the response: I was told the coffee was hot when it was made and that it was my fault for picking it up late. The truth is, only about 2 minutes had passed from the time it was made until I picked it up. There's no way a properly prepared hot coffee should turn lukewarm that quickly. The staff's attitude didn't help -- very poker-faced, simply repeating there was nothing they could do. No apology, no solution, just blame on me. I didn't want to argue, so I left. Sadly, this is not the kind of service or quality I expect from a coffee shop.
