My bank was adamantly against giving me any sort of decent loan, despite my good credit rating and spotless credit history with them. A buddy of mine - one whom works heavily with cars - suggested I check out Reese's Car Connection. I almost didn't, given how far it was from my house, but I figured I had nothing to lose. The place immediately was underwhelming to me, the lot was small, and the office a repurposed mobile home. Something still drove me to check it out, and I'm glad I did. Within minutes, Reese and Luke found me a car that wasn't EVEN ON THE LOT YET! It was a beautiful Audi A4 - they let me take it for a ride completely solo, no pressure. They gave me a deal at 15k and even threw brand new tires on per my request. Reese handled the financing and found another bank willing to give me an even lower APR than I had been trying to get! 4 hours later, I had a new car, and wow - I couldn't be happier. Absolutely would recommend to family, friends and strangers alike.

I have purchased four vehicles from 712 Auto Sales since relocating to Albuquerque in 2019. That…read morehistory matters because I was not a first-time customer walking in looking for a reason to complain. I had repeatedly chosen to do business with 712 because I believed there was an established relationship and a level of trust there. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with my 2019 Acura MDX A-Spec has changed that completely. There were actually two separate mechanical issues. The first involved the check-engine light and an EVAP/emissions purge-valve problem. 712 initially attempted to address the issue with what appeared to be authentic willingness to order and then of replace the part, but an aftermarket purge valve was installed rather than the OEM part. The problem persisted and the warning lights returned. I then had to drive back to 712 again so they could order the correct OEM purge valve. By that point, I was no longer comfortable leaving the MDX with them for additional work. I ultimately paid additional money to have the correct part installed elsewhere. I want to be fair here: I initially appreciated that 712 was trying to address the emissions issue. The problem was not that they attempted the repair. The problem was the outcome, the use of a non-OEM replacement part, the additional trip required after the problem persisted, and ultimately having to pay out of pocket to have the correct part installed because I no longer felt comfortable having 712 perform the work. Then came a completely separate concern. Within the first week of purchasing the MDX, I noticed a very faint intermittent ticking noise coming from the engine. Despite reporting the intermittent engine ticking shortly after purchase, my request for an inspection was declined. For clarity, Zach later stated in writing that I was beyond the 15-day/500-mile goodwill period and that the concern would not have been covered even if reported within that period. I believe customers deserve transparency about how mechanical concerns are handled after a sale. I was not demanding an engine replacement or asking them to spend unlimited technician time chasing a noise. I wanted the vehicle evaluated to determine whether the sound was normal or indicative of an actual mechanical issue. Instead, Zach refused to have the concern inspected. He stated that Honda and Acura vehicles are direct injected and can tick loudly, and concluded there was nothing wrong with the vehicle without having a technician evaluate the specific noise I was reporting. The response then became much more personal. I was told that I should have purchased an extended warranty, that they did not have room to spend technician time on something they considered a non-issue, and that they had only made $1,200 on my sale. The conversation also shifted to the Audi I traded in and an airbag issue they believe I failed to disclose. That was disappointing. A dealership's profit margin and its inventory problems are not really relevant to whether a customer is entitled to raise a legitimate mechanical concern about a vehicle they just purchased. And after four vehicle purchases, I expected the conversation to be handled differently. I understand that a 2019 vehicle with more than 100,000 miles is a used vehicle. I am not expecting a new car. I understand that repairs and maintenance are part of owning an older vehicle. What I do expect is transparency, competent repairs, and a reasonable willingness to investigate a concern when it is reported within the dealership's own warranty period. Instead, I experienced an emissions repair that required multiple trips and ultimately an out-of-pocket repair elsewhere, followed by a refusal to even inspect a separate engine concern reported shortly after purchase. That's a significant change from the relationship I thought I had established with 712 over four vehicle purchases. I am not writing this review because I expect a dealership to guarantee an older used vehicle against every possible mechanical problem. I am writing it because the way a business handles a problem tells you considerably more about that business than how it handles a sale. After four purchases, I will not be purchasing another vehicle from 712 Auto Sales. I also would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a used vehicle, particularly a higher-mileage vehicle, have it independently inspected before completing the transaction and carefully consider whether the dealership's warranty and repair practices provide the level of protection they expect.

Mainly because financing a car and renting in LA on my income was next to impossible. So I moved out of state and had been riding my uncle's son's bike to get around. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho are no doubt car cities. I needed a car badly. I had passed by M&F Auto Sales frequently on my way to get coffee at Starbucks. One day I noticed a red HOT car parked on their lot. I gave them a call and got Darren Martin on the phone. I asked him if they offer $0 money down payment to purchase a used vehicle since moving here cost me a small fortune and I had no more money on hand to spend especially for a car. To my surprise he said yes they do offer no money down. The next day I met with Darren, we took said red HOT car for a spin, and in two hours flat he handed me the keys. Fortunately for me I have excellent credit which also took me years to rebuild after being reckless with it as a younger man. Darren told me, "it's my job to get you in this car if this is the one you want". So, Darren and Gio ran the numbers, got me 100% approved, we did the paperwork and next thing I know I'm driving my new/used Mercedes GLA 250 4Matic SUV home. Listen, M&F Auto Sales are like my heroes. Darren was incredibly patient and kind, and so was Gio. They both walked me through every single detail and made sure I fully understood how everything worked down to the T. I seriously cannot thank Darren and Gio enough for working with me to get me in this car in record time. Buying a car is typically an all day event, at least in LA it is. But here in NM, they seem to get it done much faster than I've ever seen before. I was fortunate to had moved to a place literally down the street, and very lucky I got Darren as my salesman. These are great guys that know what they're doing. Professional, patient, kind and friendly. So if you're in the Rio Rancho or Albuquerque area and you're looking for a used car at an unbeatable price...do yourself a favor and go to M&F off Southern Blvd SE. Ask for Darren Martin. Let me explain. My wife and I purchased a GMC Yukon on September 7. When we returned on Sept.8 for the emissions test, we pointed out that the sunroof was not working. After our salesperson tried unsuccessfully to get it to work, he stated that it will be fixed an d to make an appointment with the Servic Dep't. to have it fixed. I made an appointment for Sept. 24; the earliest time available. In the interim, the "Driver Assist Program" showed that it needed servicing with repeated screen messages. I called the service department to inform them of this and was assured that it would be "checked out" when I brought it in on Sept. 24th. On Sept. 25th, I brought it in. After two hours and 15 minutes, I was told that the sunroof motor needed to be replaced and it would cost me $879.13. They also said the "Driver Assist Program" was fine. I did not receive any diagnostic report or print-out to verify this. After considerable time and discussion with our salesperson who told us it would be taken care of, we left after being informed that we would be contacted by the Service Manager the next day, Friday the 24th. As no one had called by Monday the 28th, we stopped by the dealership. We were informed that the Service Manager was told DIRECTLY to order the parts, and we should make an appointment to (finally) have it fixed. We made an appointment as early as we could, Oct.13. Today. I have been here since 10 a.m. Around 12 noon, the service dep't called to say it was ready. On the way to the vehicle, I was informed that the Driver Assist Program checked out as 100% although, again, I was not given any documentation to verify that. I then asked about the sunroof motor replacement and was informed that it worked fine for the technician; thetefore they did nothing. It was only after I got irate in explaining that it was here to have the motor replaced, and that they had been told DIRECTLY to order the new motor back on Sept. 24th. He walked away mumbling. I went back to sit in the dealership. About 15 minutes later, the service guy comes to tell me that thay ordeted the part and it was out for delivery and it may take a couple of hours. It is now 2:30. I have been here over 4 1/2 hours for a repair that SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED on Sept. 24th. I will not give my own comment. I will let the facts speak for themselves.
