I also got mini pancakes drizzled with white chocolate, Nutella and topped with bananas and strawberries. Both were so yummy and the perfect amount for a quick snack For dinner, I ordered the al pastor sopes platter with rice and beans and felt like a meal my friend's Mexican grandmother would make! What blew me away most was how fresh everything tasted, coupled with the large portions. The tacos and tortillas are hand made (hechos a mano) and that made a world of a difference. I love supporting small businesses because you always taste the extra love your food was made with. I've frequented Que Taco and after learning that the family owned, mother-daughter duo are the same owners of this place, it all made sense. They have a very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend to family and friends who are in the area!

It definitely helps if you know the basics, though since it's 99% a spanish-speaking joint. The pastries are always flavorful and fresh. I love their orange blossom and anise sesame buns, pan de feria, and conchas. The chicharrones are always on the deli counter and you grab your own with some tongs. Tons of meat on them and a few minutes in the air fryer make the meat tender and the skin crispy. Haven't tried their hot bar or restaurant yet but I hope to soon.

At Bullvinos, you pay one fee and you get salad bar access and they come to your table with cuts meat until you're full. So many things went wrong this night. The waiter came over and asked what we wanted to drink, we asked for water and he poured us water from a bottle and he never came back to the table after that. We didnt know that the water cost money until someone later asked if we wanted another bottle or just tap water and the bottle was on the bill. They usually bring over bread and mashed potatoes and after being there a while, I had to ask for this and the bread wasnt fresh. The salad bar was closing shortly after we got there and staff made an announcement "the salad bar will be closing in 5 minutes so if you want something, go get it". I understood, but it just came off rude. They did come over with the meat very quickly, like almost lining up at our table and thats when I checked to see what time they closed. They didnt technically rush us and they asked if we had any requests for meat before they closed. For this type of restaurant, you probably want to have more than 30 minutes and I wish they had mentioned it over the phone when we called.
