I tried to bleed the lines, but didn't get all the air out before the boiler shut off, and I was too scared to push the button again. I called after hours, and buddy walked me through the whole thing step by step- which means my kids had hot baths tonight! He did not have to help me over the phone, he could have charged me a bunch of money to send someone out to do it for me. Whenever I need someone to service the boiler, or if I ever need any more work done- this is the first company I will call. Can't thank you enough for helping this tired, stressed mom out today. He started the process, cleaned it and on putting it back together said we had problems, indicated to my husband we had a fault, husband looked and said that symbol was normal and came on when we had a demand for hot water in the home. The tech still saying we have problems with the system. Then we hear him on the phone looking for direction, at one point he said "its my fault" to whoever was on the other end of the line. My husband then said, we didn't have a problem until you came and oh my we hit the HURT feeling train. Now we are on speaker phone with the owner/boss a rude and arrogant person. His claim, we are not responsible for things that break during a cleaning?? "Shit happens" as I quote his words. We will pay for the cleaning, have another company come check the boiler and never call them again. If I could rate a "zero" I would . If propane is an issue don't agree to service it, my husband had to remove the bolts from the combustion chamber, he was too nervous to do it, but claims to have many years in the trade. ScotiaHVAC explained what was required for the program and helped get us set up. Then they installed all the Novair equipment in a day. We had a 200 amp electric upgrade done as well and Jeremy and his crew were wonderful. The Novair heat pumps work amazing and the heat output is better then we expected. All in all a very good experience.

My heat pump -- installed by them and still fully covered under warranty -- has been broken since January 2025. Over the past several months, I have called numerous times. Each time, I've been told by Krista that "someone will call you back." Not once has anyone actually called. Two separate technicians have come out, given me two completely different explanations for the problem, and then disappeared without follow-up. No repair date, no update, no resolution. What you can expect based on my experience: No follow-through on service calls No communication after initial contact No urgency even when equipment is under warranty and completely non-functional Conflicting information from technicians, with no accountability This is not simply poor customer service -- it's a complete disregard for customers and their contractual obligations. My equipment remains broken, and I am left chasing answers that never come. If you value professionalism, timely service, and companies that stand by their warranty commitments, look elsewhere.
