I contacted Stephen for a quote to thin and trim our sissoo tree, he got back to me within the hour. He let me know that they would be able to take care of everything the very next day! He communicated very well, let me know when they were on their way. It was all finished in a hour or so! They worked very efficiently and cleaned everything up great. I will certainly be using them moving forward for yearly maintenance. read more

Got back to me and work got done. solid performance, great and polite team. Working back towards 5 stars.

They were in our neighborhood and drive by us. I noticed the sign on the driver's door and yelled "hey!" He said hi and stopped. We needed an estimate on trimming a client's palm tree. He followed us over, gave a quote, and did it on the spot!!! Fabulous job and cleaned everything up. Asked if he had another job after this and said no, so asked for a quote on a tree trimming job for us. Also done on the spot. More than satisfied with the work. DO NOT HESITATE to call them, you won't be sorry. Thank you Christian and team. read more

Not only did the team show up early to when they said they'd arrive, but they did an exception job at an extremely affordable rate and was very quick to finish (they cleaned up so well afterwards you couldn't tell that they were there). Will certainly use these guys for future tree trimming needs! read more

Called Wednesday and Friday by 8 am my Palm Trees were trimmed and thinned. Couldn't be happier with the crew led by Carlos. They went above and beyond even skimming the debris from my pool. Will definitely use again and highly recommend. read more

Two gentlemen showed up and did an excellent job. They trimmed 5 palm trees in no time and did a great clean up job after. The first time I had this done by another company and they left my pool a mess with much debris. These guys considered the pool and the shrubbery around. Great work guys! read more

Had my palm tree trimmed and overall it was worth it. Great communication on Yelp. Great overall work. It was done quickly but correctly. Loss of a star was due to scheduling to come out on Monday but not showing up or following up with me at all. They then showed up the following morning unbeknownst to me so the communication there could've been better. I want to reiterate that the work was great and I would highly recommend as communication is an easy fix! read more

Removed 3 large queen palms. As quoted on time and cleaned up. I would highly recommend them. Nice job guys and thank you!

We needed some last minute emergency tree trimming (who knew that was even a thing?) and Jose was able to come out to give us a quote and perform the work the same day! He was so great and his prices were so reasonable that we ended up having him do twice as much work as we had originally planned! He and his team trimmed our lemon and palm trees as planned, then removed two dead trees we had as eyesores in the yard and gave some much needed pruning and TLC to our VERY overgrown olive tree! On top of all of that, they hauled away every last twig and leaf! I've been recommending them to anyone who will listen, and would definitely use them again! I also love that he communicates via text (a big bonus for me since I hate talking on the phone) read more

Had my date palm trimmed yesterday by Gonzalez Palm and Tree services. Called for price quote and Stephan was courteous and professional. After I text him a picture of the tree, I received a quote within 10 minutes. Also said since he was working nearby he could do the job later that same day. He came by with a couple other workers, I showed him a picture of how I would like it trimmed and they got right to it! Trimmed, cleaned up and removed in about 1 hour. I am very impressed with the response time, the fair price and quick completion of the job. I am only giving 4 stars because we felt clean up could have been better, we had to pic up some loose debris after they left. But happy enough with this business to recommend their service. We will definitely use them again. read more

Talked to Jose on the phone scheduled a time to come and give me an estimate. He sent his son and we agreed on a price and he wrote me an agreement for $700. They cut off a limb and it fell and did damage to my house at which point the son called his dad, Jose, and he came out and said he doesn't work for free and that if I wanted him to finish the NEW PRICE was $1500! MORE THAN DOUBLE. I said we had a written agreement for $700 and that was all I was going to pay. I tried to reason with him and asked him if he had finished the job and I told him I was only going to pay him half of what we had agreed on what would he say. He kept having to use his son as a translator and we were getting no where. He said, "We are leaving", and didn't pick anything up and even left a huge limb that they had already cut hanging in the tree 30 feet up which could fall and due damage to my fence or someone standing under the tree. I cleaned up everything he left on the ground but I still have to hire someone to come and finish the job as well as paying a contractor to have the damage done to my house repaired. I'm guessing that will be around $1200 to 1500. As far as recommending this business, proceed at your own risk. I don't think they are insured because they did not offer to have the damage repaired or give me their insurance information. That's why he wanted to charge me more to pay to fix the damage they had caused. When I have a written agreement I expect to pay that not double what we agreed on. That is why you have them come out and give you a price in writing so there are no issues later. He did not keep his word, damaged my property, and then just left. If you use ANYONE, ask if they have insurance and MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING TO PROTECT YOURSELF. read more

We had a bad storm that split a pretty large tree in half and another one that was growing into our power lines and I requested a quote to remove the dead tree and clean up the other and they came out the very next day, gave me a more than fair quote so I scheduled. They fit me in within 2 days and even stayed until after 6pm on a Friday to not just finish the job (they did an amazing job by the way) but they even cleaned up all the branches and leaves that were already on the ground (not just the stuff that fell from the trimming but that was on the ground before they started). I'd highly recommend them for their professionalism and great work for a good price. read more

Stephen and his crew are great. Used them for trimming our four 40'+ palm trees and wrapping them in lights. They also wrapped our three 20'+ cactus in lights. Excellent job. We needed to get 4 palm trees trimmed up. I called Jose based on the reviews here. He had me text him photos of the palms I needed trimmed - he responded quickly with a reasonable quote and indicated he could do the work the same day. We weren't in a rush to have the work done, but grateful to have it done so quickly. he showed up on time and he and his co-worker got right to work. They quickly got the palm trees trimmed then offered to trim 2 over grown mesquites -- gave a reasonable quote so we had them go ahead and trim those as well. They did a fantastic job - cleaned up all the trimmings and hauled them away. Probably not the cheapest around but the prices seem about the going market rate so not bad. They were thorough, friendly, and did quality work. read more

Great job with the tree trim. Great price and was able to come out the next day. Will use again!

Jose is great! I texted him a few pics of 2 queen palms and a date palm that needed trimming and he responded right away with a fair quote and offered same day service. He ended up coming the next day (my request) and worked quickly and efficiently, also hauling off all of the debris and cleaning up really well. I highly recommend Jose and crew! read more

Jose and his team were excellent. He was very responsive and communicated well. He speaks English and Spanish. They did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. For me, that is a big deal. I appreciated his team and will use them on a regular basis for trimming now!! read more

Great work, especially with that sharp machete and my towering monstrous...that's the name of the cactus. This team showed up on time and quickly got to work. I asked for leaves left on the palm tree so there would be a little bit of shade. Leaving leaves on a palm helps it to grow slowly, which is great when you need shade. I was impressed with the quick work, everyone had a specific role, there were no loafers, and the clean-up job was perfect. Thank you again for working with me through Text messaging. read more

So, how often do you need to use a specialist to trim your palm trees? Likely not too often. But when you do, Jose and his guys are the people to call. I found Jose through Yelp. He and his guys were everything and more that all of the positive reviews say. He answered my phone call on the first try, and he had his crew at my house to trim a 35 foot palm the same day. The price was very reasonable, and his crew did a super job, including cleaning up all the palm frond debris. If you have an unruly palm that you're seeking to tame, Jose is your man! read more

They did OK service, but very dishonest business practice. I had storm damage tree branch that fell on my neighbor's driveway. I called and agreed to a price with the owner Jose. Even texted him picture of the branch. He texted me a price to cut and take branch to trash with them when done. I had to go to work, but my wife was home. When they arrive, they told my wife price was only to cut branch and leave it at our curb side for bulk trash pickup, which was probably not for another month or 2! That was not an option. If we wanted them to trash the branch, it was going to cost more. This is only one branch, not even a huge branch, which he has seen picture before giving quote. Since we had to get it done, I was not home and had stop looking for another service when we made the appointment with him, had no choice but to pay him the extra. read more

Last Friday, I decided I couldn't wait to have a couple date palms trimmed. My normal tree guy was letting me down, so i found Jose's company here on Yelp. Jose answered his phone and requested that I send pictures. He viewed the pic's and responded. After a quick price negotiation, we agreed and he said his crew would appear in 20 minutes. Voila,.....they appeared. Within 4 hours of contact,......job done! Jose's son, Joseph, arrived later and helped with the job. There were two tree climbers, and the job progressed with dispatch. They did 2 date palms, and a couple of fan palms. These are big trees, and there was a lot of debris that needed to be stacked in the street for the city's bulk pickup. I was consulted, and we left just as many frawns at the top as I wanted. Good communication, fair price, sufficient clean-up, knowledgeable assistance. Pretty darn good first time experience. I've kept the contact info, and may well seek out their help again! Thanks JOSEPH (-: read more

Owner replied in a timely manner with a reasonable quote ready because I texted a photo of the palm tree I needed him to trim. Great turnaround; he & his crew did an exceptional job! I'm very happy with the quality of work and would highly recommend his services to anyone in need. Today I was looking for a Tree Trimming Service company and came across this company by looking at some Google Pics of their work and let me tell you..... they did an amazing job. I reached out and spoke with Jose and sent pictures of the work I needed done, and then he gave me a quote and did the job same day. Very Professional, and even left me some Logs from the tree I had them cut down to add to my fire pit (even said he'd drop off more logs if he was in the area and had some laying around ). Highly recommend if you need any trees or bushes trimmed big or small, they can definitely do the job! Thanks again yall! read more

Gonzalez Tree & Palm Tree Trimming Service took care of trimming my four, large Mexican fan palms. It should be noted that Gonzalez's team CLIMB the palms, so height shouldn't really be an issue, though they MAY have a restriction. My tallest palm is about 35 feet, and it wasn't an issue. I called and left a message on what I think was his voicemail. We ended up communicating via text, sending picture(s) of the palms to be trimmed, and then receiving the quote via text as well. The price was right. You get to chose what type of trimming you want, i.e. more fronds left in a more "natural" look, or carrot topped, if that's your thing. You make the call. I like 'em natural. Overall, the team did a good job. Total trimming, cleanup, and haul-away took about 35 minutes. I will be using Gonzalez Tree & Palm Tree Trimming Service for future palm trimming needs. read more

I didn't find out about this business on Yelp but at dexknows.com (link below). http://www.dexknows.com/search/?what=Palm+Tree+Service&suggestedWhat=&where=Phoenix%2C+AZ+%28city%29&suggestedWhere=&srcPgt= Since I saw a lot of good reviews about the business, I decided to give it a try. I called and talked to Jose. He came out and did an estimate for my frontyard and backyard which have total of 17 queen palm, some shrubs, and a big tree that need to be trimmed down. The estimate come out very reasonable as the whole package including mowing the grass, blowing the entire yard, and clean-up. Jose and his crew come the next day and didn't leave until everything got done at around 7:00 PM. The whole landscape looks clean and wonderfull. I highly recommend Jose if you ever need any landscape work or tree trimming, especially palm trees. I am really happy with his work. read more

We hired Gonzalez Tree & Palm Tree Trimming to do an annual prune on our 4 very tall Queen Palms after receiving a quote from Stephen. The communication was great and they showed up when promised. Their crew worked very efficiently, they were friendly and they took extra precautions near our pool equipment, which we really appreciated! While they were here, we hired them to do extra work by removing a small palm near the front of our home and had them clear a pathway where my neighbors trees had overgrown into our walkway. They cleaned up everything nicely and hauled away all of the debris. They were very respectful of our property and ensured everything was done to our standard. We we very impressed with their work ethic and we highly recommend them! We have been looking for consistent landscapers (after others failed to show) and we will definitely hire them again!
