Price-wise, he was in the middle but he was the first contractor who pointed out that our pool had copper piping, which was at least 60 years old and might start failing us. We didn't end up doing the work that year because getting new quotes with the additional scope of plumbing got too overwhelming too close to summer. Come 2026, we got updated quotes for plaster and piping and Scott was once again in the middle price-wise but we liked how knowledgeable he was so hired him. We actually chose him over an acquaintance. What I appreciated most about Scott was how responsive he was. If I had a question, he would text back or call within the hour. When I asked him "can we do X," he wasn't shy about saying, "we COULD but I think we should do Y instead because of Z." He also continued answering my questions, some of which were admittedly stupid (me: "do you provide the pool return directional thingies," him: "they're already installed"), even after I gave him his final check. As much as I praise Scott, this isn't a one-man deal. I also got to interact with his demo team, plumber, plastering team, and service man and they were all positive interactions. For the repairs, there…read morewere two cracks on the wall about 4ft long and i told him to put in staples when he fixed the cracks. During that time he agreed and said there will be staples. Fast forward to 2022, the two 4 ft cracks that he repaired cracked again and now he cant be reached so i hired the another pool repair company to fix the cracks. When they took off the pebble surface to repair the cracks, there were no staples. They only used concrete to patch the cracks. Seriously.... ? I dont know if he communicated with his crew to install staples or they intentionally took a shortcut thinking that i will not find out? Or maybe his crew simply dont know how to properly repair cracks with over 30 years in the business. Now this repair cost me few thousand dollars because Jeff's crew didnt do the repairs correctly. This company is good for pool refurface projects but would not recommend them in repairing pool cracks. Get another company who knows how to fix pool cracks or someone who can be trusted that they will do what they say they will do.

I previously was only able to run my vacuum line through the skimmer so it was either skimmer or vacuum. Now I can do both as he added two new return lines and an extra intake inside the pool for the vacuum to be connected. We are so happy and super excited with the job. He is also excellent when it comes to customer service. As first time pool owners we had a lot of questions and now I am able to maintain it myself without the added expense of a pool guy and it will only take 15-20 minutes a week.
