I used Jonathan's services a few years ago and my yard looks worse than ever before. He was very…read moreattentive during the project and stopped by to check on it a few times. Did a great job removing the hydrangeas. I needed three strips of grass re-planted, some large hydrangeas removed and about 5 ft of fence built with a gate. My lawn looked good for one year maybe....and then back to the way it was before Jonathan started. I tried to reach him several times leaving messages with his receptionist and sending emails but never recieved an email response or a call back. My gate is falling apart and I will say this, I shouldn't have had him build it as he had to talk to friends to find out how to do it. And of course now it's all falling apart, was built with the cheapest wood and would have used tiny hinges had I not noticed and went to buy the ones you actual need on a gate. Nice guy but I WASTED a lot of money to have this be the end result.

I cannot recommend this company based on the really terrible customer service I received. I was…read moregoing to hire them for a stair project and all I needed were the details (how many steps were in the plan + materials) that I could send over to the HOA for approval. They came out, gave me an estimate, and I was ready to move forward with the project, but for some reason, they had a really tough time providing these basic details. I was very patient and understanding, even when I emphasized that we needed the stairs to access our crawlspace for additional house work (mold remediation). Unfortunately, I was met with repeated promises to follow up that never happened, spanning over a week. I get that businesses get busy, but communication and follow-through are a pretty basic part of customer service. I gave them multiple opportunities to simply send over the information I needed. He said his email wasn't working, so I asked if he could just send the info over via text. He said he would and that he just needed to finish something up and then nothing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. If they are willing to be this unreliable before a project even begins, I can only imagine how difficult it could be once hired. Large landscaping projects require a certain level of trust and reliability and unfortunately, my experience gave me neither.

RT Total Lawn Care is a misnomer as they do a lot more than lawn care. They are a "we'll do…read moreanything" type of business. In my case, it was construction. I am very satisfied with their work and plan to contact them again for my next construction project. My project was to demolish and rebuild the external, entry stairs for my front porch and to demolish a large deck and build a balcony with staircase to replace it. I have attached pictures. The finished product was spot on to what he and I had discussed and was (most importantly) wife approved. Rafael serves as the foreman, and his crew of two performed the job. The project was completed in 4 days (more quickly than planned). They used excellent materials and recycled wood from the previous structures wherever possible and appropriate. I really appreciate his eye for sustainability. His crew was rarely idle and worked continuously without watching their cell phones. His bid was about 2/3s of the next lowest bid. My only criticism was that the job site was not cleaned completely (95% clean) and some tire mark damage to my lawn was not repaired. I discovered some of this after the crew had left. This is no big deal. Rafael is very particular about customer satisfaction and strives to make sure you are happy before final payment is made. If there is a problem, he assures you even after completion that he will return to make it right.

I followed up with a couple of pictures of the area via txt. Waited over two weeks without any type of reply. I called back, went to Voicemail. I followed up the call with another txt indicating I didn't need their services and they immediately replied "OK." Perhaps the job wasn't big enough? I have no idea, however the complete lack of response is, in my opinion, disrespectful and I cannot recommend them. If don't you want the job, just say it. Don't leave customers hanging.

Eli of Pioneer Tree Service and Landscape is an excellent arborist!…read more He came out on short notice to consult on the best way for us to save tree roots while we dug large complex trenches for a construction project on our property. His knowledge and advice was just exactly what we needed. And it work. He also spent a lot of time as he continued to answer a raft of other tree and landscape related questions that I had built up over a few years. His advice again, was spot on. I highly recommend Pioneer, and Eli in particular.

As a certified arborist, Eli has been invaluable in helping us identify the trees on our land and understand what they need to stay healthy. He also pointed out several dead or declining trees that needed to be removed for safety--guidance that has kept our property both beautiful and secure. Eli is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. We have never felt rushed during a consultation. He takes the time to explain what he's seeing, answer questions, and make sure we fully understand our options. One example that stands out is when we asked him about two beautiful Japanese cedars at the entrance to our home. These trees tend to grow bulky and require annual pruning. Eli not only explained the proper approach but took the time to show us, step by step, how to prune them ourselves. He even recommended the exact tools we should purchase so we could maintain them safely and efficiently. We truly appreciated how freely he shared his expertise, especially knowing this was work we might handle on our own. His office staff is consistently professional and responsive, and the crew that comes to perform the work is always polite, efficient, and highly skilled. They represent Eli and his company extremely well. We highly recommend Eli Walton and Pioneer Tree Service and Landscaping for any tree-care or landscaping needs. They are first-rate in every respect.

They did a horrible job. They didn't level out the yard before they installed the sod and it had lumps, bumps, and ditches all over. They must've used a low-grade sod because part of the yard washed out and the grass died out within three weeks. They quoted me a price of $5000 , a $2500 deposit and $2500 upon completion. When I attempted to pay the final payment they informed me that they have forgotten about the 10% sales tax and that added up to another almost $500 that I had not agreed upon. We had to call them back to re-do half of the yard. All and all I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.
